* {{Kaiju}}: This time it predominantly features returning Kaiju of three past series so far in the first episodes: ''Series/UltramanTriggerNewGenerationTiga'' (due to taking place in the same universe), ''Series/UltramanDyna'' (thanks to this series mainly serving as an homage to it) and ''Series/{{Ultraseven}}'' (due to the series also celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Showa series. Of note is that major alien/kaiju from ''Dyna'' like the Spheres and Mons-Ahgar appear as do the Capsule Monsters of Seven after a long while of being unused besides cameo appearances. And finally there's the "Sphere" kaiju made by the Spheres themselves either from themselves or kaiju they assimilate.

* PlotDemandedManualMode: By the time the series began, the Nursedessei and the GUTS Falcon have become automated. Unfortunately the Spheres' {{Kaiju}} can disable the function resulting in the machines being refitted back to be operated manually again.

But even an Ultraman can't fight off a worldwide invasion alone, and the Sphere blockade the planet; cutting the Earth off from the rest of the universe. As the TPU scrambles to rebuild GUTS-Select and refit its equipment for manual control, Kanata signs on as a new recruit. Its up to a new team to come together and take back their world.

It is in this new age when “Sphere,” an invading swarm of mysterious floating space objects, begin to attack Earth. Humanity loses contact with space and becomes a lone star. Their attack throws our hero Kanata Asumi’s peaceful life into chaos. Destruction spreads before his eyes and a giant monster appears. With no heed for his own safety, Kanata jumps in front of the enemy and transforms into Ultraman Decker.

“I gotta do it now!”

Having discovered the light of Decker within himself, Kanata pledges to protect humanity’s daily life and joins the expert team GUTS-Select, newly reformed as an Anti-Sphere squad. As its newest member, Kanata and his young unseasoned team stand against these great enemies, together.
