Judging by her attitude (instead of being frightened, she is arrogant and cocky), she probably isn't the nicest person around. But the horrific torture Ravy puts her through and the learning that her boyfriend is dead is way too much, especially since (for all we know) she herself isn't even a criminal, unlike her kidnappers. Both Salim and Tim feel bad for her.
