* EvilSoundsDeep: In the middle of the shadow play in "Chapter 26", Farouk's tone unexpectedly becomes lower than his normal speaking voice when he says, "You should never have come" with a sinister facial expression. It's the only moment during the performance where Farouk talks in English, and he's staring directly at Charles (an Englishman); it's a subtle threat to his guest. While Charles is slightly perturbed by the line's delivery, he's unsure if it's just part of the dramatic narration or if his life is genuinely in danger.

* CreatorThumbprint: Many of Creator/NoahHawley's signature style elements from ''Series/{{Fargo}}'' appear in Legion, including extended cold opens that seem tangential to the plot on a first viewing, sadistic villains that achieve their ends by psychologically manipulating emotionally fragile protagonists, [[ArtShift Art Shifting]], the sudden introduction of a narrator, and a fixation on thought experiments. Legion also incorporates several 1970s classic rock songs in the soundtrack, similar to the second season of ''Fargo'' which was set in TheSeventies.

** In the Season 3 premiere, David's cult performs "Something For Your M.I.N.D." by Superorganism, which wasn't released until 2017, year the show debuted.

** Because Charles and Gabrielle are married, their son was born as David Xavier, although he's adopted by the Haller family when he's still a baby, so he's known as David Haller throughout the series. However, after the AlternateTimeline takes hold in the series finale, the infant that's shown in the last scene will be known as David Xavier permanently because his parents won't give him up this time.
