In the land of the dragons, nobody trusted Lea, much less to Nirig-Naa, the red king. The girl and the king came to an agreement: his kind would deliver the girl to the humans to safety if she tells them where the calantio mines are. Lea refuses, and instead asks to be made a Dragún, a warrior trained by the dragons, in order to obtain revenge. The king refuses, based on the previous dragún Burami (Lea's ancestor) who betrayed them and hunted them down. Lea swears she will clean her family name. The king accepts, and Zagór becomes Lea's master.

--> "It wouldn't be weird if there was a civilization in Mars, but possibly capitalism arrived there, imperialism arrived and life ceased to exist on the planet."
-->-- Hugo Chavez. Seriously.

Hugo Rafael Chávez Frias (Born July 28, 1954) was the president of Venezuela from 1999 until his death in 2013. A controversial figure known for his bombastic speeches, Chávez was the head of a socialist movement who wanted to implement what he called "The Socialism of the 21th century", which meant helping the poor in Venezuela, and stop the evil of capitalism.

At least, that's the short version. Let's try to expand that.

Born in a poor family, Hugo Chàvez became Lieutenant Colonel, and was the leader of a socialist group on the Venezuelan army called "The Bolivarian Revolutionary Movement 200, named after South American liberator UsefulNotes/SimonBolivar. Disgusted by the politics of president Carlos Andres Perez, Chàvez attempted to overthrow the goverment in 1992. While the movement gained notoriety, the coup was quickly put down.

Chávez was allowed to appear on television to explain his actions, and much of the Venezuelan poor population identified with his ideals. He was sent to prison, but was vindicated on 1993 when Pérez was convicted in a massive corruption scandal. Chávez was pardoned by president Rafael Caldera in 1994 and soon entered politics, much to the latter regret. His society became a legitimate party, the Fifth Republic Movement (MVR) and in 1998 ran for president, winning.

That's the prelude, now let's deal with the complex first act.

After becoming president in 1999, Chávez set out to change the Venezuelan constitution, amending the powers of congress and the judicial system. As part of the new constitution, the name of the country was renamed to be the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

As president, Chávez encountered challenges both at home and abroad. His efforts to tighten his hold on the state-run oil company in 2002 stirred up controversy and led to numerous protests, and he found himself removed from power briefly in April 2002 by military leaders, led over by Carmona. The protests continued after his return to power, leading to a referendum on whether Chávez should remain president. The referendum vote was held in August 2004, and a majority of voters decided to let Chávez complete his term in office.

During his goverment, Chávez created and expanded many social works for the benefit of the poor population, including special works to teach them how to read and write, to give them a proper education, and special programs to help the ill.

Sounds fair, right? Well, it got worse.

Chávez started to take away the ownership of many private companies, all in the name of the people. Those companies lead over by the state went to bankrumpy without a proper administration, and this caused the economy to grow worse. He also became mora vocal and critical of the United States, who were occupied with the Irak conflict, who he blamed were responsible for the coup against him. He infamously called UsefulNotes/GeorgeWBush "the devil" and "Mister Danger, which was the name of a drunk, EvilColonialist character in a book.

Despite this, he was still popular, still ruling over Venezuela for many years, and with an opposition that was, frankly, quite useless against him. During the 2006 presidential elections, he went against a politician named Manuel Rosales, who was infamous for being a malaproper with redundant statements. Just to give you an idea, one of Rosales most famous sayings was: "If they killed me, and i'm dying...", which is quite similar to "People die if they are killed".

Chávez did some other things, like banning violent videogames due to Videogame/Mercenaries having Venezuela as it setting (and even then, that didn't stop piracy... or the game being normally sold), almost entering in a war with UsefulNotes/Colombia due to disputes with president Alvaro Uribe Velez, among other things. Is a long story.

Chávez, despite having cancer in 2012, decided to run for president for a third time, and after winning, died, and left his vice president, Nicolas Maduro, to become his succesor. And if everything was already problematic with Chávez, it grew worse with Maduro.

But that's a story for another day.

During his goverment, Chávez created and expanded many social works
Nothing, for the benefit of the poor population, including special works to teach them how to read and write, to give them a proper education, and special programs to help the ill.
