# Roleplay.LynchingITP: WhatTheHellHero: What the Hell, Hero? Dream provides many such moments. Of course, it's only to be expected with him. As does the Stig, who blows up Chicago to make sure TheHost doesn't spread, even though most of the people within aren't possessed yet. Thanos of all people calls out Hayato, saying that the Getter Force is as big an abomination as anything it fights, it doesn't give a damn about anything but it's own self interest and egoism, he and his entire groups are all total hypocrite and that at least he doesn't go around telling people being made part of death is for their own good. # YMMV.FoodWars: similar to how male students consider her adorable, yet girls hate her Attention Whore status, parts of the fandom like her for being a cute Bitch in Sheep's Clothing, while others find her fake, annoying and useless. This intensified during the Hokkaido Promotion Exam Arc, where she's Brainwashed into siding with Central and is openly hostile towards the Rebels instead of being a neutral host. Even the [=MCs=] from the show he's invited to comment that Leeteuk should be permanent co-host. He also says that he even hosts at home, welcoming himself when he arrives or congratulating his pets. No one believes him, though. The other members note that he has a “broadcast tone” or way of speaking, and that he might have forgotten how to speak like himself.

Among the contestants, Junior's appearance is based on that of Justin Bieber, while Noah and Owen's dynamic in the series parody that of Chris Farley and David Spade. TheHost Don is obviously based on Phil Keoghan.

# MiraculousLadybug.TropesEToM: [=TV1's=] Alec, who seems to be the go-to host for all televised competitions seen in-series. He's appropriately bubbly and excitable during each one, although he's notably more down-to-earth when off camera. Unfortunately for him, all three of the competitions we've seen him host have had someone turn into an akuma.
# IconicOutfit.{{Music}}: From 2002 until he withdrew from touring in [=2005,=] Eminem began being depicted wearing a sleek black suit, playing off the widely distributed court footage regarding his 2002 assault charge, but also creating the image of him as a [[TheHost light entertainment showman]] (something he'd been dabbling with since appearing as a Depraved Kids' Show Host in "My Name Is"). In the Encore era, with its theme around Slim Shady having a mental breakdown, the look also took on the resonance of the suit a corpse might be dressed in before being placed in the coffin. The photoshoots promoting Encore, which are full of suicide imagery and show him posing with a casket, reinforce this.

# Series.SuperPayCards: Personnel: The Announcer: Mary Lou Basaraba. GameShowHost: Art James. Lovely Assistant: Mary Lou, to an extent. Studio Audience: A member or two would play the eight-card portion of the bonus round with Mary Lou for the aforementioned "prizes", primarily to satisfy Canadian Content rules by getting The Announcer on-screen. However, this audience game was omitted on episodes aired for the American market.

'''TheHost''' / '''GameShowHost'''

'''Category''': Miscellaneous or multiple issues

'''The problem''': More "The Host" than "Game Show Host". The issue is that the former trope, launched in 2008 and with 203 wicks as of my first look, is mostly just a list of 26 "popular hosts". A quick skim of Related wicks shows a mix of listings for real-life reality show hosts (not to be confused with Game Show Host, though there is some overlap on the actual The Host page) and actual ''characters'' who are hosts to in-universe shows or events.\\\

In short, it needs to be reworked to focus on in-universe event / show hosts, and probably renamed to "MasterOfCeremonies" to avoid confusion with "Game Show Host".\\\

The other concept represented in the page's description, real-life reality show or event hosts (distinct from Game Show Host), could probably be yarded into its own trope.\\\

The related trope "Game Show Host" (likewise launched in 2008) has a solid concept, it mainly needs a review and clean-up of its wicks (all 505 of them, as of this writing) to ensure they're accurate.\\\

!!Wick Check results -- examples from "The Host":

* ? describe real-life reality show or event hosts.
* ? describe real-life Game Show Hosts; clean-up would transfer these wicks to the latter page.
* ? describe in-universe event / game show hosts (in-universe examples would likewise be transferred to Game Show Host during cleanup).
* ? describe other things.
