* The Jager Troops that would end up in the Pantheon are none other than the German Fallschirmjager, German Paratroopers established by and under the command of Germany's Air Force, the Luftwaffe. Originally, only the Valkyrie Jager, the most elite of the Jager, were ascended into the Pantheon. These troops were, much like in their original universe, tasked with guarding important German military bases, research facilities, and [=VIP=]s (which include high-ranking Axis officers and scientists). However, due to the growing influx of Western Allied and Soviet presence in the Pantheon, German infantry who could protect the Reich-controlled sections of the Pantheon were in increasingly in demand. And so, following the Heer's, Waffen-SS's, and Kriegsmarine's expansions in the Pantheon, it was also decided to expand the German Luftwaffe's ground forces as well. An entire regiment of German Paratroopers were ascended as part of this effort, reinforcing the company-sized Valkyrie Jager already deployed in the Pantheon. The two units would then be combined into a single Division-sized unit

* Conflicting Opinion: [[Pantheon/{{Fairies}} The Hall of Fairies]]
* Faerie Britain, an AlternateTimeline version Britain where Faeries were the dominant sapient species instead of humans. Ruled by ruthless conqueror and Queen of the Fae Morgan, the Faeries were forced to "donate" some of their magical energy routinely to the Queen's government. Humans, on the other hand, were bred and raised in PeopleFarms, and lived much shorter lifespans than their Proper Human History Counterparts. Worse, the Faeries themselves were known for being ''huge'' {{Jerkass}}es to both their own kind and to humans, with the latter even being treated more as pets and livestock rather than compatriots. And, if that wasn't terrible enough, Faerie Britain was also routinely assaulted by various {{Eldritch Abomination}}s known as the Calamities, which sought to destroy Britain itself.
** In the midst of this all, a prophecy made by the Mirror Clan predicted of a MessianicArchetype savior that would supposedly save Faerie Britain from the Calamities and by extension topple the rule of Morgan. This so-called "Child of Prophecy" would go on a journey to ring the six bells of each Faerie Clan, and would then be able to accomplish her duty. Despite Morgan's attempts to prevent this from happening, [[SelfFulfillingProphecy the events that the Mirror Clan had predicted ultimately came true]]. Not long after the Clan's prophecy, the young Altria, as a baby, was found by Ainsel, leader of the Mirror Clan. However, knowing the danger that the Queen and the other Clans posed and their desire to see the Child of Prophecy eliminated, elected to cast the young Avalon le Fae adrift, where she would be found by the villagers of Tintagel. It was here where her life would be made a living hell by her friends, adoptive family, and neighbors, all of whom were British Faeries, out of a mix of FantasticRacism, [[GreenEyedMonster jealousy]], and fear.
** Despite this routine persecution and the difficulties associated with it, Altria carried on with her life, helping the villagers with errands, traveling to different cities around Faerie Britain, and learning magic from an individual who identified himself as Merlin. Unfortunately for her, the racism and discrimination from Faeries would continue, with even humans, second-class citizens themselves in Faerie Britain, refusing to believe her claims of being the Child of Prophecy. Eventually, she met a handful of people who did sympathize with her and treated her as an equal. These were Cnoc na Riabh, the head of the King Clan, and Ector, a blacksmith living near Tintagel. It was because of them [[BecauseYouWereNiceToMe being genuinely nice to her]] that she became friends with both of them, with Cnoc na Riabh attempting to give her encourage and a boost in self-confidence, while Ector taught her the basics of blacksmithing. Unfortunately for Altria, she would lose contact with Cnoc na Riabh when the former would begin a rebellion against Morgan, while Ector would end up performing a HeroicSacrifice to save Altria both from Tintagel's ultimately StupidEvil populace and Morgan's execution squads led by Woodwose. On the brink of a DespairEventHorizon, Altria ultimately heads to the Nameless Woods in an attempt to forget her own identity and essentially commit suicide.
* Unfortunately for her, due to her Avalon le Fae heritage, Altria was immune to the LaserGuidedAmnesia effects of the woods. Fortunately for her, her luck would soon change for the better upon encountering the amnesiac Master of Chaldea and his Servant companion Sir Tristan. Pretty soon, thanks to Chaldea's much-needed aid, Altria would be able to make contact with the [[LaResistance Londinium Rebels]] and other parties wanting to overthrow Morgan's rule. Among the latter included her old friend Cnoc na Riabh, the Lostbelt's equivalent of Gareth, and, most notably, the Fairy King Oberon. With their help, she was able to ring the Six Bells of each Faerie Clan, with Altria herself becoming stronger each time she rang one. In addition, Altria, with help from Chaldea, was able to defeat two of the three of Morgan's Tam Lin, with Baobhan Sith humiliated and stripped of her position, and Barghest defecting to the Londinium Rebels. While her goal of overthrowing Morgan and her Faerie Kingdom's rule was ultimately successful, it came at heavy cost, with Gareth, Tristan, and apparently Oberon all getting killed in action.
** Rather than take the throne for herself, however, Altria ultimately allowed her friend and ally Cnoc na Riabh to become the next ruler of Faerie Britain, with Altria instead planning on WanderingTheEarth and resigning herself to a quiet life in Avalon. Chaldea themselves were planning on leaving Faerie Britain alongside Barghest and a number of Fae, due to the threat of Morgan having finally been contained and the Lostbelt itself seemingly no longer posing a problem, at least for the time being. Unfortunately for her, Chaldea, and the Londinium Resistance, things would go FromBadToWorse, thanks to the machinations of a number of traitors within the Rebellion's ranks. Cnoc na Riabh would be betrayed, poisoned, condemned by her own followers and ultimately die, a civil war would erupt between the Londinium Rebels, Northern Fae, Norwich's forces, and Aurora's forces, the [[TheUndead Mors]] attacks would increase, and worst of all, more Calamities would awaken and wreak havoc across Faerie Britain and potentially destroy the rest of the Earth.
** With the odds increasingly against them, Altria and Chaldea are fortunately saved by Merlin, who leads a number of the survivors to Avalon in order to find a way to stop the Calamities, Faerie Britain itself being doomed by that point. It was here that Altria Caster was forced to relive the memories of her entire life, both good and bad, in order to fulfill her purpose and destiny. Upon reaching the end of Avalon, Altria found out her true purpose: to end the existence of Faerie Britain, and serve as the catalyst to forge Excalibur at the cost of her own life. Unsurprisingly, Altria was less than happy about this revelation. But because she knew that the world would potentially be doomed if she didn't do anything, she proceeded with the ritual anyway. Noticing her reluctance and wanting to satisfy his own curiosity and desires, Senji Muramasa interferes with the Excalibur forging mid-ritural, and [[HeroicSacrifice offers himself in Altria's place]], in the process giving the middle finger to the Foreign God. This gives Altria [[HopeSpot a chance and some hope of]] achieving one of her wishes in life: [[IJustWantToBeNormal to live a normal life free from any burdens with Chaldea]].
* Unfortunately for her and Chaldea, this dream would not come to be. Already LivingOnBorrowedTime thanks to the aforementioned ritual (her body now solely running on her remaining magical energy), Altria, seeing how powerful the Calamity of Curses {{Cernunnos}} was despite the precautions that Merlin, Caster Cu Chulainn, and even Morgan had put into place specifically to stop him, the Avalon le Fae ultimately decided to perform a HeroicSacrifice using her remaining magical energy. While her final attack didn't outright kill the undead deity, punching a hole right through its chest instead, it did allow Chaldea to perform the coup de grace using their Black Barrel, killing the deity for good. While she wasn't killed outright, Altria ended up [[DisappearsIntoLight disappearing into light]] and ending up in Avalon permanently in a state of eternal sleep.
** Still, despite this, being in Avalon didn't prevent Altria from [[NotTooDeadToSaveTheDay continuing to help Chaldea afterward]] as Altria Avalon, with herself as a Heroic Spirit, or, more specifically, the spirit of Excalibur with all of the original Altria Caster's memories. Confronting and exchanging {{Motive Rant}}s slash {{The Reason You Suck Speech}}es with her EvilMentor Oberon-Vortigern, Altria and Chaldea end up defeating the final Calamity and condemn him to a FateWorseThanDeath, with the traitorous Pretender [[AndIMustScream trapped in his own Noble Phantasm indefinitely]]. While Altria Avalon would immediately disappear after helping Chaldea once more, this attachment and bond would allow the Master of Chaldea to summon her using Chaldea's Servant summoning system. This particular Altria isn't Altria Caster, who remains asleep in Avalon, but Altria Avalon, who, as mentioned, retains Altria Caster's personality and all of her memories. That said, once her former enemies-turned-allies are summoned to Chaldea as well, her interactions with them establish that, while technically a different being, at the end of the day she's still (mostly) the same Altria that the Master of Chaldea had met and aided.
** As a Servant of the Master of Chaldea, Altria Caster would end up gaining a Berserker version of herself during one particular Summer. This version of her would end up aiding the Master of Chaldea in solving yet another Summer Singularity, this time in a bizarre mix of Hawaii and Australia. She would also once again be aided by her once-again ally Oberon, and encounter the swimsuit versions of the Tam Lin, Morgan herself, as well as the Proper Human History versions of the Knights of the Round Table with their own respective swimsuits.
* The Altria Caster that would end up ascending and residing in the Pantheon is, in actuality, Altria Avalon, due to the original still being asleep in Avalon following the latter's HeroicSacrifice. That said, rather than being a Servant summoned outright by the Master of Chaldea, she was instead summoned by the Counter Force, partly due to the presence of other Servants hailing from Faerie Britain, as well as the presence of Altria Pendragon and a few of her own AlternateSelf variants. At first, it seemed that the sole reasoning for her summoning into the Pantheon was to contain the apparent threat that Morgan and Oberon-Vortigern still posed. While that was indeed the case, as the former, despite proclaiming Ritsuka as her spouse, still desired to recreate the CrapsaccharineWorld that was Faerie Britain, while the latter wished to end the entire world around him out of a sense of disgust and nihilism, this was far from the only reason for her summoning. In fact, it is due to the presence of various deities who are world and universe-ending threats, with many on par with or even more powerful than both Morgan and Oberon-Vortigern ''combined'', and unlike with the former two, many cannot be reason with or controlled at all.
** With the presence of these threats, and the risk of the Pantheon ending up incinerated and/or bleached like their world's Proper Human History (or worse, being destroyed altogether), Altria, despite her misgivings with her two biggest former enemies, ultimately decides form an EnemyMine slash TeethClenchedTeamwork sort of alliance with both her EvilCounterpart and EvilMentor against these much worse threats. It's thanks in part to Altria Caster that Oberon-Vortigern ultimately decides to work once again with the Master of Chaldea, as these aforementioned threats wouldn't hesitate to destroy him too or threaten his own plans and existence. Morgan, on the other hand, having already accepted that Faerie Britain has fallen, on top of respecting Altria Caster for stopping several of the Calamities in her stead, took less convincing for her to aid her GoodCounterpart (the Master of Chaldea, Morgan's self-proclaimed spouse, being around probably had something to do with it as well).
* While not summoned by Chaldea, Altria Caster still decides to work with the Master of Chaldea (even forming a contract with them in the process), Mash Kyrielight, Leonardo da Vinci, Sherlock Holmes, and the rest of the ascended Servants working for the Security Organization. It's through Chaldea, in fact, that Altria is reunited with many of her allies from Faerie Britain, particularly the Caster incarnation of Cu Chulainn aka Grimr the Sage, the Magus of Flowers himself, Merlin, and Senji Muramasa. It's through Chaldea that Altria Caster also ends up meeting her various [[AlternateSelf alternate timeline versions]], particularly Altria Pendragon and Altra Pendragon (Alter). To say that she was in awe at them would be an understatement, to say the least. That said, her synergy with them was rather limited, with Altria and Altria (Alter) primarily specializing in Buster offensive attacks, with Altria Caster instead specializing in Arts support spells and skills.
** Now finally having the time to associate herself with the Grand Caster himself, Altria, while having far from novice magical skills, is still somewhat suffering from CripplingOverspecialization thanks to Oberon-Vortigern's weird teaching methods when it comes to spells. Having already mentored Altria Pendragon and her AlternateSelf variants in the past, Merlin, despite his BrilliantButLazy tendencies, does offer sincere magic lessons to the Avalon le Fae, while also introducing her to a number of other Servants present in the Pantheon who can and are willing to teach her other magic skills on the side. Among the most notable of these Servants include Tamamo no Mae, Zhuge Liang aka Lord El-Melloi II, Leonardo da Vinci's Caster version, Scheherazade, and Asclepius. Fortunately for Altria Caster, all of these Servants specialize in Arts-based attacks and support skills like herself, making it much easier for Altria to both learn new spells and skills as well as gain important battlefield synergy, experience, and fighting skills.
** On the topic of her AlternateSelf variants, Altria Caster, having only ever wielded the Staff of Selection as her Noble Phantasm, has rather...mixed views towards the other Altrias' Noble Phantasms, particularly with Excalibur and its variations. While she does have knowledge of the weapon thanks to her visions of Proper Human History (on top of being tasked with forging the Holy Sword, and by extension, being the essence of the Sword itself, to begin with) as well as using copies of the Holy Sword against {{Cernunnos}} (having been converted from Morgan's Rhongomyniads), she herself isn't exactly used to using the Sword itself nor does she actually prefer to wield it outside of emergencies or dire situations. That said, despite her misgivings and conflicted thoughts about it, she does acknowledge its importance in Proper Human History (being the reason for Sefar's defeat).
* Part of the reason for her ascension was to contain the threats from the various ''Franchise/FateSeries'' timelines, of which include ''VideoGame/FateGrandorder'''s own timeline of Proper Human History. These were mainly in the form of the ascended Beasts, specifically Beast I Goetia and Beast II Tiamat, the mastermind behind the Incineration of Humanity and the one who almost destroyed the Babylonia Singularity, respectively. While she herself was not involved in the Singularities, she was still determined to stop them from doing the same thing to the Pantheon. In addition to these larger threats, several evil-aligned human mages from other ''Fate'' timelines are also of concern for her, of which include Zolgen Makiri/Zouken Matou, head of the Matou Family and recurring enemy of Chaldea, and Gudako, an AlternateSelf of the female incarnation of the Master of Chaldea who is much more depraved and lacks any of their morals.
* In addition to the return of the threat of Beasts, other notable, similar potentially world and universe-ending threats outside of the ''Franchise/FateSeries'', such as Alice, aka The Book of Truth, and THE END. Much like Oberon-Vortigern, Cernunnos, and the aforementioned Beasts, these two beings were responsible for the destruction of entire planets, with Alice having contributed to the wiping out of humanity in her universe, and THE END destroying numerous planets in its own. While incapable of defeating them by her lonesome, not unlike with the aforementioned Beasts and Calamities, with the Master of Chaldea's help and the aid of both her old allies and enemies-turned-allies, she's able to at least prevent them from spreading destruction to most other parts of the Pantheon. With her Noble Phantasm and her skills providing limited healing magic, buffs to herself and her allies, and even the unique true invincibility, in battle, she's more than able to make up for her less than stellar combat capabilities with her excellent support-based magic and skills.
* That being said, world-ending threats aren't the only enemies that Altria Caster faces within the Pantheon's vast expanse. Many tyrants, evil witches and wizards, and equally nefarious fairies, all of whom are similar to Morgan, are also plentiful in the Pantheon. Among these include Maleficent, Sauron, Sophie, The Lich, Big Brother, and Dr. Robotnik. Of these deities, however, three of them stood out in particular for differing reasons.
** Maleficent caught Altria Caster's attention the most, due to her being one of Morgan's many associates, and having magical skills on par with the former Queen of Faerie Britain. Not only that, but her Dragon form reminded her of her fight against the Calamity of Flame, whose OneWingedAngel form was a similar black dragon that also spewed out flames.
** Sauron, being an evil magic user on top of being an EvilOverlord who possesses none of Morgan's nor Oberon's more redeeming and positive traits (on top of being responsible for numerous deaths, corruptions, and enslavements in his respective world), manages to be one of the few deities that genuinely angers Altria, due in no part to his own ruthlessness and ambition. To this end, she goes out of her way to ask the Master of Chaldea and the rest of the Security Organization to intervene in his attempts to conquer the rest of the Pantheon and destroy those that oppose him, seeing him as the worst possible scenario that either Morgan's or Oberon's end goals could have been.
** While Altria sympathizes with Sophie's tragic backstory and circumstances, being a magic user who had saved her home nation and all, she does ''not'' agree with her RoaringRampageOfRevenge against the nation and people that betrayed her and were ultimately responsible for her death. While she herself wasn't happy with the vast majority of people in Faerie Britain being backstabbers who repeatedly betrayed and almost killed her numerous times, on top of born to literally destroy Faerie Britain itself, Altria Caster never willingly slaughtered the Fae and humans that opposed her nor actually enjoyed the task she was given. Sophie, on the other hand, takes a sadistic joy at subjugating Eylstadt and condemning it to nuclear fire, even as an ascended deity in the Pantheon.
* Due to her Avalon le Fae heritage, coming from a world where the Fae were the dominant species, on top of being a very skilled magic user, Altria Caster caught the interest of two deities who were close associates and allies of the White Witch Sophie: Lt. Col. Arnold Berkman, who was one of those responsible for resurrecting her back in 1940, and Jack Horner, a man obsessed with obtaining any and all things related to magic. Berkman wants to capture and experiment on Altria not unlike what he and his fellow countrymen wanted to do with Izetta (as well as obtain her blood samples for study), while Horner was instead interested in her Staff of Selection, yet another magic-related trinket that he can add to his already-massive collection of magical items and weapons.
** In turn, thanks to her previous encounter and fight against Sophie, Altria Caster has also formed a bond with Eylstadt's defender Izetta, who like her has been tasked with saving her respective nation from tyranny and destruction. It's through Izetta that Altria is welcomed into the [[Pantheon/FictionalSettings Principality of Eylstadt]], a kingdom with a much more benevolent ruler and where the residents are all human and much more welcoming. To say that Altria Caster was surprised at this contrasting type of society would be an understatement, to say the least. Even more surprising for her was how Archduchess Ortfine Fredericka von Eylstadt, the aforementioned ruler of the Kingdom, treated her kindly and even offered her food. In return for these acts of kindness and hospitality, Altria ends up dedicating part of her time to teaching Izetta new spells and skills, as well as helping defend Eylstadt from both human and otherworldly threats, even getting members of Chaldea partly involved.
* Thanks to her past experiences with the Fae, Altria doesn't exactly trust most other Fairies in the Pantheon at first, much less want to visit the Hall of Fairies. With the presence of the likes of the Fairy Godmother, the aforementioned Maleficent, and Morgan's own AlternateSelf variants in the Pantheon, this doesn't help her matters at all. Fortunately for her, this view soon changes upon seeing firsthand several much nicer and genuinely good fairies both in the Hall of Fairies itself as well as in other parts of the Pantheon. In fact, she was surprised to see an AlternateSelf of the Oberon she knew, who was with Titania, no less. Eventually, thanks in part to seeing the good in people as well as the Master of Chaldea's and the rest of Chaldea's influence, she ends up befriending several other good and neutral-aligned Fairies from different universes, among which include Cosmo and Wanda, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, and Tinkerbell.
''"Everyone is scary, society is disgusting and I can't keep my motivation up even if you tell me to save the world. But since going against the surroundings is also unpleasant, I'll work hard as a savior."''
