* AdaptationalBadass: Kamoshida goes from the StarterVillain who's completely unrelated to the Conspiracy to the ''leader'' of the Conspiracy due to taking Shido's place.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance:
** Haru appears much earlier than in canon due to being the protagonist. Sumire, Akechi and Yusuke also have this treatment due to taking Ryuji's, Morgana's and Ann's roles respectively.
** Madarame is the 1st Palace Ruler instead of the 2nd, taking Kamoshida's role as the StarterVillain.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange:
** Outside of the Metaverse, Akechi takes the form of a small crow instead of being a human.
** Morgana is a human in this fic, taking the place of Makoto.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Ann, due to taking Akechi's place, goes from one of the founding members of the Phantom Thieves to TheMole planning to betray them.
* DemotedToExtra: Kaneshiro becomes TheUnfought in this fic, with Kobawakawa taking his place as the 3rd Palace Ruler and him getting mysteriously taken care of regardless.

* OriginalGeneration: While most characters are taken from canon games, Luci and Hell Bell are original to the mod.

* AdaptationalBadass: In canon ''Lullaby'', Girlfriend ends up getting killed by Hypno at the end of "Lost Cause". Here, however, she [[LetsGetDangerous gets serious]] and ends up sending Monster packing.

** During the Everlasting Memories movies, F-00 was an entirely benevolent robot, and [[ICannotSelfTerminate begged the player to put it out of its misery]] when it started malfunctioning. Here, it's a full on ObliviouslyEvil KillerRobot:

* DeathByAdaptation: Nate, in the bad ending of Everlasting Memories 2 (which is what the F-00 found in SHUTDOWN is based on), gets beaten unconscious by F-00, but eventually recovers. Here, F-00 has legitimately killed him

* BewareTheSillyOnes: They may look like goofy {{Evil Knockoff}}s to the Phantom Thieves, they have legitimately killed people out of misguided heroism, and they can actually fight competently, especially during the second phase.
