Former English video game developer based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, that was founded in 1984 by Ian Stewart and Kevin Norburn. Starting out as a developer and publisher of games for home computers, they later branched out to console and PC games in the early 1990s, and were an early third-party developer for the [=PlayStation=], where they had found great success with their ''Actua Sports'' series of titles, starting with 1995's ''Actua Soccer''. They were bought out by Infogrames in 1999, who subsequently renamed them Infogrames Studios, and closed down in 2003.
