* ConjoinedTwins Charlotte and Victor Deshayes hadn't had the easiest of life. Their birth itself during the 17th century could be considered a miracle but as quickly as they were brought into this world, their mother Madeleine fled with the newborns as to avoid persecution by others who would view them as demons. Living in the streets was tough by their mother's love made it all bearable, until they were caught one evening and her mother was promptly burn at the stake for witchcraft. With her death, any compassion from the twins ceased and they would be sold to a secretive cult that worshiped the Entity. After countless inhumane experiments, Victor had enough and decided to fight back, which would eventually allow Charlotte to escape at the cost of Victor's life. The remaining years of Charlotte were spent in isolation, fending off would be attackers that thought she was a demon and constantly having to survive in the wilderness. Eventually her body would give up and in the brink of death claiming her, she heard the voice of Victor, now separate from her body. The Deshayes twins were finally reunited and claimed as yet another of the many killers at the service of the Entity.
* Their ascension was yet another ploy by the Entity to have more of it's champions around. The Twins almost made a mess by charging at unsuspecting deities until they were apprehended. Although recognized to be dangerous, authorities decided to leave Charlotte and Victor be in a temple secluded from other human contact in an attempt to sever their connection to the Entity and to finally let them catch a break from a lifetime of misfortune. Usually they keep to themselves, not making many friends from the hatred they developed from other people after all they experienced and even if sometimes they are called upon by the Entity, they are content with being left on their own.
* Not ones to make many friends, understandably given how almost everyone else had treated them. But eventually a lone deity managed to do something incredible and actually endear himself towards the Twins and that was none other than Quasimodo. Hailing from a similar time period, he knows well how it feels to be treated bad for your appearance and being confined to a tower also did a number to his sanity and feels sorry both Charlotte and Victor weren't given a chance. Seeing as he is as deformed as them, they took pity on the hunchback and somewhat allow Quasimodo to hang out with them whenever they aren't actively hunting people down for the Entity. Quasimodo himself feel uneasy with their actions and work under the Entity but understand they didn't have much of a choice and that at least they promised to not hurt him.
* From Quasimodo he heard of the horrible man that is Claude Frollo, someone who is responsible for all the shame Quasimodo had to endure for years and the fact that he wants to execute the Twins for the danger they pose certainly didn't sit well for the Deshayes twins. Sometimes Victor goes out of his way to torment Frollo just to get back at him and even once dragged the man to the Entity's realm as an offering for his superior. Needless to say, Frollo didn't have a good time there.
* Sometimes they wer confused for one of the members of the Freakshow in the House of Pantheon/TheatreAndSpectacle but these twins are not related to the ones that actually work there. The members of said group actually are friendly towards Charlotte and Victor, as even if they work for a horrible EldritchAbomination they actually appreciate their presence. The Twins are actually glad to have their temple as a safehaven where no one is trying to kill them but they aren't able to stay there long, otherwise the Entity will come knocking and trap all their newfound friend in the killing grounds, and neither of the Deshayes would like to kill any of their friends.
* Similarly to Quasimodo and the Freaks, Charlotte and Victor once came accross the Elephant Man, whose grotesque appearence is infamous among the pantheonic denizens and those rumors caught the attention of Victor, who first went by himself to check if the legends were true. Upon meeting him, both Twins felt that rare feeling of pity upon another human being, who was even more alone than they were given how his appearance was possibly even more abhorrent than theirs. The Twins usually sneak in their downtime to hang out with John and keep him company to let him know that he isn't alone. And even if he can't quite approve of their constant murders and sacrifices to the Entity, he appreaciates that they consider him a friend.
* Given their experiences under the Black Vale, the Twins utterly despise cults and even tend to target those out of spite, which many don't find that particularly [[KickTheSonOfABitch unreasonable]] for them to do. They had run ins with Los Iluminados and the Harga, who took interest on the Twins given their own unique biology as well as their ties to the Entity and it didn't exactly end well for both groups.
* An unlikely ally they made was Jeanne, another woman who like their mother Madeline was burned at the stake after being accussed of witchcraft. Jeanne took pity on the twins because she can understand their plight and even if she looks like any of those humans that tormented them for so long, both Charlotte and Victor seem oddly trusting of Jeanne because of what she also went through and she promised she would help them get back at those that wronged them. However, even she knows that their connection to the Entity might actually hurt her in the long run given how powerful the EldritchAbomination is.
* Sophie after hearing about the Twins story approached them in order to recruit them for the Germanian Empire since she empathized with the story of being persecuted for witchcraft and sympathizes with what happened with their mother Madeline. Sophie's offer was instantly shot down by Victor jumping on her face and starting to attack her like a maniac, which angered Sophie and promptly blasted the twins away for daring to harm the White Witch. Given their dislike for human beings in general, working for another evil group like Sophie does is insulting for them and Sophie responded that they were not better given their status as killers under the Entity's control. Sophie, even if far more powerful than the Twins, carefully withdrew from battle because she didn't know if harming the Twins will bring upon the Entity's wrath and she wasn't in a position to fight a being like the Entity.
* Usually when hunting other survivors, Victor and Charlotte tend to separate to cover more ground. Unfortunately given his small size, that leaves Victor open to being kicked by the survivors. There is a running habit from the more troll-ish deities to seek Victor when he is out by himself and punt him as far as they can, unnoficially dubbed as [[MemeticMutation "Kick the baby"]] and often they are met with an angry Charlotte chasing after them.

* Herman Carter began as a brilliant person that found himself joining Yale's advanced neuroscience programme, which was really a front for the CIA. There, Carter was recruited for his research and inducted into Léry's Memorial Institute under the tutelage of Dr. Otto Stamper, who encouraged Carter to go beyond what's allowed in the experimentation in order to truly discover the secrets of the human mind, something that will spiral out of control as Carter began to become more and more ruthless in his experiments, with many people that entered his lab never ever coming out of it and all in the name of the so called Project Awakening, which employed the use of Electroconvulsive Therapy in order to "interrogate" prisoners. Carter grew more and more unhinged until Léry's went completely silent, with the Doctor nowhere to be found and many of the staff and other immates found dead in horrific conditions. In truth, the Doctor found a greater purpose under a great power and now would personally see to it with other "unconventional methods".
* Ascended to the Pantheon on behalf of the Entity and immediately found the place delightful. He was resourceful enough to evade authorities for a while but once he got too overconfident after having tortured a poor deity for days given enough time for him to be detained. Containment procedures against the Doctor have been mostly innefficient, as he is smart enough to understand how to escape his temple and even can call the Entity to break him out. Even taking away his tools has done nothing but slow him down.
* Carter has a tendency to prey on those with poor mental health as he believes breaking them further might further his "research" and also power the Entity as well. Although surprisingly, he is not one of the Entity's most favoured champions as he feels it limits his abilities to "explore" the survivors he comes accross and even had to be punished several times for [[TooSpicyForYogSothoth going too far]], explaining why his face is all kinds of [[NightmareFace messed up]].
* It seems the time in the Entity's realm allowed the Doctor to gain electric powers, somewhat related to his infamous electroshock therapy sessions and fully takes advantage of those powers to prevent survivors from trying to trick him into chasing them endlessly by cutting them off or driving them insane. Some wonder if he actually qualifies for the House of Pantheon/{{Electricity}} but most aren't eager to let him into the house and cause more trouble.
* Not the only one known to use electric torture as Revolver Ocelot has knack for doing that as an interrogation tactic and it seems Ocelot might be very aware of Carter's actions given Ocelot's own history as a double agent for several different parties. Ocelot's former superior, Colonel Volgin, grew curious of the Doctor's own methods given that Volgin also has a tendency to torture people and even found Carter to be a potentially useful asset and even allied with the man with the hopes of using him for his own goals. Both Solid Snake and Big Boss also grew to dislike the Doctor given their own experience with being electrocuted (thanks to the aforementioned folks) and would rather put a stop to Carter for good, but the Entity has prevented them from doing anything meaningful against the Doctor.
* Very chummy with Desaad and Richard Trager, since their sadism could potentially rival or triumph that of Carter's. As a "doctor" Trager has tried to suggest cutting fingers and other human body parts on the survivors he usually has to go against and the Doctor reassured him that those ideas he has already tried them in the past and got him not further into coming into a breakthrough, dissapointing Trager in the process.
* In the field of science many find him completely deplorable and have criticized his actions. Others however, have praised Herman for being a visionary and an example that ethics in science only hampers its progress. Professor Hojo has some keen interest in providing him more test subjects to see how they "respond" to Carter's methods. The Scarecrow grew fascinated not only by Carter's own creepy appearance and infamous incidents, but also the realm of the entity and hearing that the latter could be of a potential natural abomination, it could allow Crane to perfect his fear toxin by letting it fester in the realm's Entity. Carter, in a rare display of [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness concern for another individual]], warned Crane about the potential dangers of using the entity for something like that, as he once met an individual like him, Talbot Grimes, who would eventually become yet another of the Entity's mindless killers. The reason Carter knows about Grimes, now known as The Blight, is that he was once experimented by that person and even injected with blight which enhanced the Doctor's powers (and that's saying something considering the Doctor was the one being experimented on in this case).
* His involvement with the CIA and how they encouraged Carter to continue recklessly experimenting on people soured the opinion of the organization to many of the Pantheon's denizens. Among them was even a member of the CIA, Alex Mason. He himself has his own baggage considering he was experimented on and turned into a sleeper agent that may or may not have been involved in JFK's assassination. Given that the CIA even used electroshock to interrogate him, Mason has every right to despise Carter and the latter is only amused that the CIA never told him about Mason's condition before....well, before he massacred all the staff at Léry's.
* Simon Henriksson despises the Doctor, being an even bigger evil than the Doctor he encountered in his adventure, and that's saying something considering Simon had already encountered many other horrors before. Even Dr. Purnell thinks Carter is a danger to everyone in the Pantheon and wouldn't hesitate putting him down if allowed. On his part, the Doctor took great interest in Simon as his experience genuinely intrigues Carter and has attempted to kidnap and experiment on Simon to see what other discoveries he can make, which obviously terrifies Simon.
* The one time you might find him not trying to horribly murdering people is when he is playing chess, as it is one of his favourite hobbies and he is even quite good at it. Not many are willing to play with him unfortunately, save for a few choice allies who are as insane as he is. And even those who play with him and lose tend to get horribly tortured afterwards.

* A wandering ronin in search for a good fight. Haohmaru was orphaned at a very young age, his name being just a nickname given by a neighbour who encouraged him to explore the world. After losing a battle to the legendary swordsman Jubei Yagyu, Haohmaru started to train under Nicotine Caffeine, where he eventually was chosen as the successor of his Dojo. Haohmaru would then start wandering the world, picking fights with worthy opponent to improve his skills and his most remarkable trait is how much of a loud boisterous fighter he is, which once he arrived into the Pantheon, he was the clear candidate for the title and one he was very honored to represent.
* The Pantheon was a perfect place for Haohmaru to hone his skills and fight powerful opponents. Some of them he already met before like Ryu who remembers Haohmaru as the time-displaced samurai he [[VideoGame/CapcomVsSNK2MarkOfTheMillennium fought a while ago in a tournament]] and while not used to fight armed opponents, Ryu held his own very well and proved to be a worthy adversary in the eyes of Haohmaru. Another notable rival of his was Heishiro Mitsurugi, the two clashed once Haohmaru [[Videogame/SoulCaliburVI visited his universe]] and found to be equally matched, [[{{Expy}} while being pretty similar to one another]].
* He's often seen sharing a drink together with Yasuo, who he thinks has a hair crazy enough like his, but not as crazy. Haohmaru, as usuall, invites him into battle and both spat on their blades with their wine before starting the match. Reports say that many many whirlwinds were tossed during the battle and they became frequent sparring partners.
* He has a habit of spitting a bit of his sake into his sword, a quirk that many find quite silly but the ensuing battle usually proves them that Haohmaru is not one that should be taken lightly. He usually likes to hang out in the Hall of Pantheon/{{Alcohol}} to discover the Pantheon's own type of sake and many are surprised to learn that besides the boisterous guy looking for a fight, Haohmaru can be quite chummy if you get to know him. The aforementioned quirk isn't actually that strange according to one of the people he ended up befriending, as Tidus claims that his friend Auron does a similar him which amused Haohmaru and made his curious enough to challenge the swordsman if he ever crosses path with him.
* After hearing of the tale of Miyamoto Musashi, Haohmaru wasted no time in challenging the legendary swordsman in a duel, [[{{Expy}} the two noticing quite a lot of similarities to one another]] and decided to find out who was the better of the two. The battle ended in a draw but that only increased the drive of either swordsman to improve and try again next time.
* While he is not one to care about the affairs of the world or the bigger picture, he nonetheless will choose to fight alongside the side of good if push comes to shove. That's how Haohmaru ended up becoming close allies with Nakoruru after the two worked together to take down Amakusa. Haohmaru wasn't happy to learn that the christian rebel was amongst the Pantheon's ranks but got perplexed once he noticed how widely different this version of Amakusa was. While the latter holds no strong feeling against the samurai, Haohmaru hardly buys his claims and not helped by the fact that occassionally his soul gets "possessed" by Ambrosia, unleashing the Amakusa he knows into the Pantheon and usually leading to Haohmaru and his allies to deal with him.
* While usually the one to pick fights with others, Haohmaru is not stranger to getting challenged to a duel by other people. Azumi once approached him after hearing of his deeds but Haohmaru's own experience decisively gave him the victory but spared Azumi since he felt she still had a chance to grown stronger, a fact she appreaciates and since then became good friends. Manji also sought Haohmaru in order to test if what Mitsurugi said about him was true and Manji wasn't dissapointed with Haohmaru's prowess and neither was him with Manji's, also becoming another usual rival for Haohmaru (and by this point, he noticed that a looooooooooot of people ended up becoming his rival).

This eccentric fellow turned out to be Oro, who at first didn't think much of Haohmaru but if Ryu said he was worthy of training then he decided to first test him in a duel. Haohmaru surprisingly didn't understimate the old man and noticed how strong he was after he managed to block all his swings with only one hand but managed to keep up enough to leave Oro impressed and making the hermit consider him as another potential successor for the Senjutsu, though at this point Haohmaru isn't really interested in continuing the legacy of another old man.
* Has met Kyo Kusanagi before, the latter hearing about Haohmaru through his dad and the two are amicable enough but the same cannot be said about Iori Yagami, Kusanagi's co-deity. From his attitude and abrasiveness, he shares a lot of traits with Genjuro Kibagami, a former friend that trained alongside Haohmaru but due to his dark nature, was expelled from the dojo and grew resentful of his former training partner, developing a very strong rivalry between the two. However, Haohmaru has noticed that at the very least, Yagami is not as obssessive as Genjuro is when it comes to try to kill him, although that "obssession" is only ever directed towards Kusanagi.
* Has met Baiken before after the latter somehow [[GuestFighter ended up stranded in his universe]] and even challenged him to a fight, one in which Baiken won. Since the encounter she dissapeared but once in the Pantheon, the two crossed paths again and Haohmaru is eagerly waiting for a rematch now that he knows how she really fights. Thankfully, he is not as threatening to the grand majority as he is simply just a human in a diver suit, although he can still be terrifying for the average deity.

* The Cyclops make terrorise other marine life on a daily basis [[AlwaysABiggerFish but there are always bigger fish than him]]. Such was the case with his encounters with Monstro, The Meg and the Orca, who gave him a lot of trouble because of their massive size and viciousness. But the diver was clever enough to find a fellow hunter with Captain Ahab, who notoriously has a beef with Moby Dick. Ahab agreed to help the Cyclops hunt these rare giant animals in exchange for him also helping him kill Moby Dick (which the diver had his sights on anyway).
* Aquaman and other merfolk were quick to design measures to stop the Cyclops from hurting innocent aquatic creatures, something that could jeopardize his business in Shell City. For one, they have tried to get his souvenir shop suspended but unfortunately the House of Pantheon/{{Commerce}} had deemed it perfectly legal, ignoring the obvious animal torture going behind the scenes. Instead they tried to just ban him from any potential water hall but that's proven to be impossible, so they just decided instead to watch his every move and prevent him from harming aquatic deities.
** Steve Zissou in particular was the most adamant in trying to stop the Cyclops for giving humanity in general a bad reputation as well as harming the oceans in general. He thinks Shell City is an insult to his job as marine life is more than fodder for cheap souvenirs. Similarly, the ABZU Diver has made their mission to be the lookout for those unsuspecting deities that may come across the Cyclops, which certainly hasn't amused the latter and worse, the ABZU Diver's relationship with the Orca has only made the latter much more aggressive towards the Cyclops.
* Not even those that aren't from water halls are safe from his wrath as the Cyclops was able to discern Octodad's true identity and really wanted to [[DeadlyEuphemism put googly eyes on him]]. Unfortunately for Cyclops, that only brought the ire of Octogeddon, a fellow friend of Octodad, and the Cyclops mistreatment of sea life didn't go unnoticed by Octogeddon who proceed to give the Cyclops his just desserts.
* The Cyclops did manage to make a few friends along the way. He came across Nautilus during one of his diving trips and convinced him to "work" alongside him which somehow Nautilus agreed to. Then after hearing his encounters with Aquaman, his arch-nemesis Black Manta decided to lend a hand to the Cyclops in terrorizing the oceans and even considering funding Shell City just to spite Aquaman.
* To try something new he decided to start terrorizing the Scooby Gang after often getting confused for the ghost of Captain Cutler. Scooby and Shaggy this time thought it was the real deal and run from the Cyclops, which he found amusing but after finding out what he really does, they found the Cyclops to be even worse than they anticipated. And unmasking him is not an option since at the end of the day he is human and the authorities have been struggling to arrest the Cyclops.
* Believe it or not, he does get customers in the Pantheon even though his actions are public knowledge. The Pyro is one of the deities that visits Shell City a lot, finding the animals there cute and often buying ton of them, which the Cyclops would happily oblige to and the two developer a very close friendship as a result. Some wonder if whoever is bought by the Pyro ends up on [[FateWorseThanDeath even worse hands]].
