* BoobsOfSteel: Has one of the largest busts in the company, and is one of the most competent fighters.

* BoobsOfSteel: Her Rearm and Awakened forms show that she's very well-endowed and very powerful.

* BoobsOfSteel: She has the largest bust of ALT Squad and is considered the muscle.

[[folder:As a group]]
* FireForgedFriends: Mina starts out as a fairly rough addition to the crew, with her headstrong personality earning Hilde's mistrust and leading to hostility toward Shiyoon, who claims he's looking out for her only because he's ordered to. As the story and conflicts go on and Mina defrosts, they gradually start to get along much better.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: Shiyoon positively towers over Hilde when the two are seen next to each other. Mina, on the other hand, is fairly tall (her given measurement is 168 cm or around 5'6''), though Shiyoon is still a head taller than her.
* NiceMeanAndInBetween: Shiyoon's the Nice, being the most cordial and laid-back member of the bunch; Mina's the Mean, being hot-headed and OnlyInItForTheMoney; and Hilde's the In-Between, being largely unfriendly but still professional most of the time. Averted after Mina undergoes CharacterDevelopment and becomes nicer.
* StarterMon: As main characters, the team is part of the starting roster.
* TwoGirlsAndAGuy: Mina's an inexperienced rookie, Hilde is the older and more experienced leader/mentor, and Shiyoon is the solo guy that has history with Hilde and eventually gets along with Mina.

->''"Long time, no see. How's the company doing while I was away?"''
->''"I'm ready. Just tell me when."'' (Awakened)
Commander of the Fenrir Squad, she had disappeared twenty years ago, but returned for some unknown reason. Her Administration Assigned Counter Grade is A, but there is more to her than meets the eye.
----
* ArtEvolution: Her [=Live2D=] was updated to be more in line with her other skins and her Awakened art.
* BalanceBuff: Her Awakened form had its Special upgraded to ignore all Hitstun, and its Ultimate was improved to cast her Special during its buff regardless of cooldown. This gives her a much more effective role as a tank.
* CommutingOnABus: Likely due to her being just a little too competent, powerful, and commanding, Hilde gets surprisingly little to do and is often absent during major events.
** Her arrival at the end of the [[spoiler:Replacer Arc features her pretty much curbstomping the most powerful character on the field, proving that if she'd been there from the start things would have gone very differently]].
** In Episode 7, [[spoiler:she's sent through a spatial rift, which makes her unable to rescue Shiyoon until Mika and Naielle destroy the source]].
** In Episode 9, [[spoiler:she's ''again'' sent through a rift while fighting against an apparent Doppelganger of Mina, which was the trap set by Serapel, Lucrecia, and Yubin]].
* DefectorFromDecadence: There is strong evidence pointing towards her being [[spoiler:a Demon Lord]].
** [[spoiler:While there are plenty of Qliphoth Factor users in the world, only Hilde has enough that going all-out would awaken all the Demon Lords and start a new Qliphoth Game.]]
** Episode 10 reveals that [[spoiler:the Demon Lords are trying to win the Qliphoth Game to be granted a wish from Tammiel. Seeing as Hilde's epithet is [[RedBaron "The Last Valkyrie"]], it's likely that her goals are similar to Ray's]].
* DualWielding: She wields twin swords named Balmung and Gram.
* DynamicEntry:
** Her normal unit strikes down with her twin blades, dealing damage to any unit she hits on the way down.
** As with all Awakened units, Hilde dives down from atop the screen and then flourishes her armor, also granting barriers to all allies on the field.
* FrontlineGeneral: Is the captain of Fenrir Squad, and very much on the frontlines. Out of its three members, she's the only melee attacker in their base forms (Shiyoon functions as a Ranged attacker since his basic attack is [[DashAttack a medium-ranged dash]]).
* GodzillaThreshold: Her usage of Siegfried, [[spoiler:her Qliphoth Factor]], is treated as such. [[spoiler:She's previously killed people just for ''possessing'' a Qliphoth Factor, so deciding to use her own is a sign that things have just gotten very real.]]
* HopelessWithTech: She may be an unparalleled warrior, but put her in front of a computer and she's helpless. Her Counter Case shows Mina helping her type up a report because with Hilde's two-finger typing, she'd likely be there for days.
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: In her Awakened form she wears her shirt over a LeotardOfPower, but she seems oblivious to how it makes her look like she's GoingCommando.
-->"You're upset about the way I'm dressed? Hm, [[ComicallyMissingThePoint I'm wearing a necktie, like a proper employee]]."
** This is given a CallBack with one of her post-Lifetime Contract lines in her anniversary skin:
--->"You don't know where to look? Okay, then why don't you look at my necktie? Hmpf, you're so naive."
* LimitBreak: ''Dragon Slayer'' and ''Buster Overdrive''.
* MeaningfulName: Both of her swords come from Myth/NorseMythology and her name comes from one of the Valkyries. Her Awakened form, Type Siegfried, is named after the hero of ''Theatre/TheRingOfTheNibelung'' and lover of Brünnhilde.
* MysteriousWaif: A small lady whose past is [[MysteriousPast mostly unknown]], but who has a very clear history with the CEO [[spoiler:and the Qliphoth Game itself]].
* MysticalWhiteHair: Has a light silverish tone and also has a connection to [[spoiler: the Qliphoth Game and the various Demon Lords.]]
* OlderThanSheLooks: Her exact age is unknown, but due to her height she is often regarded as a child or teenager. Given that she looked the exact same twenty years before the main game's events (when she was already a commander), she would have to be in her 40s at the very least, though likely even older than that. [[spoiler:The "New Semester" side story has her name being offhandedly mentioned in the Administrator's 600-year-old time capsule; given how little of Hilde's past is revealed, it's entirely possible this is the very same Hilde that appears in-game. Given that she's got personal history with various Demon Lords, it's likely that she's even older than that.]]
* PercussiveTherapy: After first rescuing Machine G.A.P. and being told he is, in fact, the new CEO of Coffin Company, Hilde vents her frustrations with the situation by taking it out on him. Machine G.A.P. refers to her as "the violent little lady" in in-game voice lines, so it's likely she hasn't stopped.
* PintsizedPowerhouse: She's short, but can slay Category 4 C.O.s by herself. Episode 6 shows her level a Category 3 with ''a single punch''.
* PyrrhicVictory: In Episode 5, [[spoiler:choosing to don the Siegfried armor to defeat the Replacer Queen leads to the start of another Qliphoth Game]].
* RedBaron: "Last Valkyrie"
* SecretIdentity: Her last Counter Case reveals that "Hilde" is also a false name, and only the CEO and Lee Sooyeon know her real one ([[TheUnreveal which is hidden from the player]]).
* SeriousBusiness: She takes any and all risks with the [[spoiler:Qliphoth Game]] seriously.
* TheStoic: Frequently the most aloof member in Fenrir, [[NotSoAboveItAll unless gambling is involved]].
* StoneWall: Her SR version's Ultimate gives her a barrier equal to 15% of her Max HP. In her Awakened version, her Special gives her a barrier equal to 25% of her max HP that can negate not only hitstun but also her disadvantage against Rangers, and her Ultimate gives her a buff that not only lowers damage taken and negates non-permanent debuffs but also lets her ignore her Special's cooldown while said buff is active (which equates to her spamming her Special three times in a row). As a result, Awakened Hilde is often considered ''the'' premier tank in the game.
* WhatTheHellHero: Tries to give one to Sooyeon about letting the company fall into hard times, but is instead given one due to her own choice to abandon the company and not even keep in touch for twenty years.

The newest Combat Operative of the Fenrir Squad. Her Administration Assigned Counter Grade is C.
----
* AchievementsInIgnorance: In Episode 4, [[spoiler: she manages to stumble upon the motives of the Replacers just by noticing a discrepancy: initially believing the Replacers to be wild terrorists, she realizes in the Episode that their method of converting everyone in sight into a Corrupted Object is the aim: getting every person who survives to survive the merge with the Counterside into reality.]]
* AlmightyJanitor: In Episode 6, she's forced to not acknowledge her part in the Replacer Incident despite personally resolving it. As a result, when she enters the Counter Academy, her experience has her ace a combat simulation on her first try, one that many students have failed at the end of their training.
* AlternateSelf: In "New Semester", [[spoiler:the CEO's Counter Academy from another world was last seen preparing a rescue mission to save a version of Mina after a Category 4 C.O. dragged her into the Counterside, but it presumably failed since in the "main" universe the Official Support finds their Dimensional Ship abandoned. This may or may not be related to her sister, who was the original owner of her Watch and weapon; the only other known case of a shared Watch (while the original owner is still alive) is Eins and her nine little sisters ''who are also her clones'']]...
* AmbiguouslyAbsentParent: [[spoiler:Compared to her sister being her main reason for her mercenary work, the only mention of their parents is when Shiyoon brings it up during his outing with Mina at an amusement park in Episode 4, but it gets interrupted by a ship full of C.O.s crashing into the park. This may or may not be {{Foreshadowing}} the true nature of her bond with her sister.]]
-->[[spoiler:(Episode 4, 1-2 pre-battle) '''Shiyoon:''' I've been digging through your personal information files to learn more about you. The only thing I could find on your family was your older sister in the hospital. And all I got from that was her name. I couldn't find anything else on your parents or other family members. It's as if... they never existed.]]
* ArtEvolution: Had her [=Live2D=] updated to fit with the newer artstyle.
* BalanceBuff: Her SR was one of the first to get a Rearm, which raised her to SSR rank and gave her more of a crit build. Her Awakened version was given Perfect Evasion and 30% increased Attack Speed on entry. Her Special can also seal enemies' Specials, and her Ultimate was given hitstun on enemies casting their Specials.
* BoobsOfSteel: Her Rearm and Awakened forms show that she's very well-endowed and very powerful.
* BrilliantButLazy: Sometimes she tries to be compensated for any work she does.
* CoolSword: Wolvesbane, hidden inside her pulse blaster. Her Awakened form uses it more.
* CriticalHitClass: Her base form's passive increases her critical hit damage, and her Rearm increases the multiplier further. As such, she deals some of the biggest crits in the game in terms of damage multipliers (easily hitting for over double her written damage values in a game where the default multiplier is 1.5x), but she has no boosts to crit ''rate'' and has to make up for it with gear.
* DefrostingIceQueen: She starts out fairly hostile toward others, though she eventually drops it and becomes kinder over time.
* FanservicePack: Her new art makes her bust a bit more noticable.
** Her Rearm adds a low neckline mixed with LettingHerHairDown.
* FightMagnet: The number of people that approach Mina with the intent of eventually fighting her borders on RunningGag levels. Shiyoon even lampshades this in Episode 8 after yet ''another'' person betrays and fights them, stating that at this point, anyone who comes to them with a vested interest in Mina specifically cannot be good news.
* GeorgeJetsonJobSecurity: Had a varied job history as a merc before Coffin Company. As a result, she is relatively well-trained compared to other rookies.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While she initially has a bad attitude and is OnlyInItForTheMoney, she does save Seo Yoon from her betrayal in Episode 1, and in Episode 2 she frequently goes along with Amy in saving others from C.O.s despite not getting paid for it. [[CharacterDevelopment As the story progresses]] she becomes more of a genuine NiceGirl, with her more aggressive moments few and far between.
* LimitBreak: ''Wolvesbane'' and ''Wolvesbane Legacy''.
* LivingMacGuffin: For reasons that are explained as the story goes along, a lot of major powers in the setting have some sort of interest in Mina.
* TheMusketeer: Her pulse blaster conceals Wolvesbane, a sword that interacts with her powers. Her base form and Rearm portray Mina in her relatively inexperienced state where Wolvesbane doesn't fully respond to her yet, so she uses her gun most of the time and only breaks out Wolvesbane for her LimitBreak; her Awakened form, however, portrays her later down the line [[spoiler:after her Qliphoth Factor fully awakens]] and wearing gear that enables her to wield it properly, and in that form Wolvesbane becomes her primary weapon.
* MythicalMotifs: More than any other character connected to the name Fenrir (both the current squad and the former division of the Old Administration), Mina has the heaviest association with Fenrir of Myth/NorseMythology. [[spoiler:Her vast potential was originally fettered by Sooyeon and Hilde knowingly until Ray broke it loose, and she forms the focus of the potentially apocalyptic Qliphoth Game. Wolvesbane also gives her the ability to slay entities that would be far beyond the abilities of normal people and other Counters, much like Fenrir is destined to slay Odin during Ragnarok. Nervier is the first of several people to refer to her as the "Cursed Wolf".]]
* NewMeat: While she's more experienced than most versions of the trope, Hilde still treats her as such initially due to her spotty previous employment record and the perception that she was only hired because Coffin is TooDesperateToBePicky. The English localization uses the term "FNG"[[note]]Freaking New Guy/Girl; the "F" can also stand for something [[PrecisionFStrike less polite]][[/note]] for her quite a bit as a result.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Her reason for being a Counter. [[spoiler:She needs it to pay for her sister's high medical costs and hospital bill.]]
* PreciousPhoto: One of Mina's few shown possessions is a photo of her with her friend Narae and Narae's brother Najin, seemingly one of her last ties to her pre-Counter life. [[spoiler:In the epilogue of Episode 5, it blows away after she visits Narae/Bishop's grave.]]
* RedBaron: She's known as "The Cursed Wolf" or simply "The Wolf" by several antagonists in the setting.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: When she's handed her uniform for her Awakened form, she complains over the low neckline and the tight fit emphasizing her curves. She also complains about wearing a bunny girl outfit as part of Amy's plans in Episode 2.
* SayMyName: In Episode 7, [[spoiler:she screams Shiyoon's name as Lucrecia stabs him dead and Mina sees him go limp]].
* SwordBeam: In her base and Rearm form, her ultimate has her drawing Wolvesbane and unleashing a crescent-shaped energy wave from its blade.
* TragicKeepsake: Her Watch and her weapon were her sister's before she was hospitalized.
* TraumaCongaLine: From the end of Episode 2 onward, Mina cannot catch a break. [[spoiler:First she watches Amy apparently die in front of her, then discovers Replacer Bishop is her friend Shin Narae and not only hates her but forces her to fight, resulting in Bishop dying in her arms, and then she has all those traumatic feelings brought back when Regenerated Bishop appears, and despite trying to save Bishop as hard as she can, she ultimately has to watch her die again in a HeroicSuicide. Oh, and she's fighting with the fate of the world on her shoulders all the while.]] And that's not counting the crap that she's already had to deal with before the story began. Small wonder Shiyoon outright [[ShellShockedVeteran diagnoses her with PTSD]] at the end of Episode 5 from having had no time to actually cope with any of this.
* TraumaticSuperpowerAwakening: She awakened her Counter powers after an explosion near her school.
* TookALevelInKindness: Starting from Episode 6, [[IHatePastMe she becomes quite ashamed of her previous abrasive self]].
* UnexpectedlyRealisticGameplay: Despite being the main character her base version is considered very underpowered... which makes perfect sense and fits with how she's portrayed in game. She's only a Grade C Counter, and she's explicitly portrayed as being weaker than her teammates.
* UnskilledButStrong: She's only ranked a Grade C Counter, but she shows a large amount of potential due to Wolvesbane [[spoiler:and its interaction with her Qliphoth Factor]]. Indeed, most of her kit is summed up by "things her gun and sword do" in her base and Rearm forms.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: [[spoiler:Taking her sister's Watch awakened her own Counter powers, but the high potential Mina possessed caused an extremely large explosion taking out a near one kilometer around her school, and also caused trauma for both her and her friends.]]
* UsedToBeASweetKid: In both her Counter Case and the main story, Mina was said to have been friendly and modest in school - a far cry from the hardened mercenary she starts as.
* WeaponOfXSlaying: [[spoiler:Demon Lord Apostles are normally not entirely killable by normal means and will simply regenerate after some time, and Nervier in particular gets back up no worse for wear after being killed normally. However, Wolvesbane reacts with Mina's Qliphoth Factor in a way that allows her to render Nervier DeaderThanDead, and Ministra and Spira were also KilledOffForReal when Mina unleashed Wolvesbane the first time. In Episode 8, she one-ups this by ''killing a Category 6'' with it (with some help from Jake Walker) after Jia informs the crew that her sword is essentially [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu built for punching out Cthulhu]].]]
* {{Workaholic}}: After [[spoiler:Replacer Bishop's death]], she throws herself into taking C.O. cleaning jobs, taking up to ten a week. PlayedForDrama, as her colleagues start to worry about her health from taking on too much at once alongside possible PTSD.

->''"Should I say it's time to show them my real skills? Haha, I'm a little shy about this."'' (Awakened)
Acting Commander of the Fenrir Squad, he was its only member until Hilde returned. His Administration Assigned Counter Grade is B, and he has a history with Hilde.
----
* ActionInitiative: Can be placed anywhere on the field in his base form.
* AnimalMotifs: He's associated with snakes. His tall and lanky physique is rather reminiscent of a snake's usual build and his exclusive gear is a dagger named Poison Fang which he uses for his normal attacks. Additionally, making full use of him involves scanning the battlefield for just the right time to have him strike, and his dash attacks using his dagger are evocative of a venomous snake lunging to bite. Snakes are also often associated with cunning, a trait which Shiyoon definitely possesses. [[spoiler:The prophecy surrounding his family also describes him as "a snake born of dragons".]]
* {{BFS}}: The Dragon Fang (whose name is revealed in Episode 7) is almost as long as he is tall, and he's one of the tallest human characters in the game. And he has no problem [[OneHandedZweihander swinging it with one hand]]. Its sheath makes it even more impressive in his Awakened form.
* BlatantLies: He constantly claims to just be an ordinary employee. No one buys it.
* BrilliantButLazy: Known as a MasterSwordsman, but also has tendency to fake injuries or stay in Fenrir Squad as the only member so he can get paid without working. He's also suspected of having instigated at least one strike just so he'd have an excuse to slack off, and a lot of his lines as an in-game unit have him asking to clock out early or take a break. [[spoiler:His laziness is largely a coping mechanism; his Awakened form establishes that making peace with his family's past resulted in him becoming much more proactive.]]
* CameBackStrong: [[spoiler:In Episode 7, after being stabbed dead by Lucrecia, and drifting to a place of near death, he's able to revive himself and have his family sins absolved into his new Awakened form.]]
* CerebusRetcon: Episode 7 reveals that his "good hearing" allowed him to [[spoiler:overhear his parents' last words, recontextualizing his entire character from the moment he joined the Coffin Company and took Kim Hana's advice (to pretend to not hear private details and hide his feelings) to heart]].
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: His response to Mina's frosty first meeting with him and Hilde is telling Hilde he "thinks [he's] in love", and in Episode 4 he's disappointed when Mina says she doesn't have a crush on anyone in Coffin Company, but this apparent ShipTease gets downplayed for him being her StealthMentor in their later scenes.
* TheChosenOne: [[spoiler:Episode 7 reveals that he is the descendant of the Seeker of Truth, the failed Antagonist of Arcadena. Even though the Seeker was unable to save his own world, he consumed Dragon Blood, which was actually a reactive Qliphoth Factor, [[FlingALightIntoTheFuture with the hope that eventually one of his descendants will break its curse and inherit his powers]].]]
* CounterAttack: Literally the name of his SR version's active skill, which blocks an enemy stun and then strikes back with a slash. This is also used for demonstrating counter-attacks in the tutorial. His Awakened form has ''two'' counter-attack abilities.
* DayInTheLimelight: Episode 7 explores his past and his family.
* DeviousDaggers: He primarily fights using a dagger because [[BrilliantButLazy he often can't be bothered to draw his sword]], and while he's not fundamentally a shady person, he's still far more cunning than he lets on.
* DiedInYourArmsTonight: [[spoiler:In Episode 7, the CG doesn't reflect it, but the script implies that he dies in Mina's arms after Lucrecia stabs him (the next audio cue is Mina getting up). For the record, he does get better.]]
* DiscardAndDraw: Episode 7 frames his Awakened form as [[spoiler:him losing his Dragon Blood and inheriting the abilities of his ancestor, the Seeker of Truth]].
* DistressedDude: He gets captured in Episode 7, and much of the ensuing conflict is to rescue him.
* DynamicEntry: His sword falls down from the sky, as he materializes behind it and returns it to its sheath. Additionally, his Passive in his SR version allows him to be deployed anywhere on the field.
* EnlightenmentSuperpowers: His Awakened form is the result of him achieving enlightenment and [[spoiler:choosing to accept the Kleshas that come with it, rather than fighting to overcome them, allowing him to revive stronger than ever]]. Appropriately, his Awakened form has the title "Arhat", a Buddhist term referring to a person who has achieved Nirvana.
* EyesAlwaysShut: He's always seen with his eyes shut. [[RedEyesTakeWarning And for]] [[HypnoticEyes good reasons]].
* TheGadfly: He loves to tease those around him, and is almost as adept at verbal fencing as he is with swordplay.
* HypnoticEyes: [[spoiler:At the end of "Operation: Pathfinder", he hypnotizes Kyle Wong into forgetting about the event, and it eventually wore off in Kyle's final Counter Case (set after Episode 5). After Episode 7, he no longer has this ability since he doesn't have the Dragon Blood anymore.]]
* LimitBreak: ''Spatial Slash'' and ''Sentiment Du Fer''.
* LimitedWardrobe: While this is true of most characters, who are usually seen in the same outfit all the time (barring skins), he discusses this with Mina in her Counter Case. Mina genuinely does not have more than a single work outfit due to her PerpetualPoverty, and she washes it once every few days. Shiyoon, on the other hand, has twenty sets of identical clothes.
* MasterSwordsman: So much so that his Ultimate is ''cutting a building in half''. Emphasized greatly in his Awakened form with the ability to cut through dimensions.
* MeaningfulName: In Buddhism, an "Arhat" is one who has achieved enlightenment and insight into the true nature of existence and freed themselves from the endless cycle of rebirth. [[spoiler:In Episode 7, Shiyoon does just that regarding the nature of the Kleshas bound to his Dragon Blood by choosing to accept his sufferings and live as himself, freeing himself and his ancestors from its curse, achieving his Arhat form in the process.]]
* MellowFellow: Very calm, collected, and laid-back, rarely seeming to take anything seriously.
* NotMeThisTime: [[spoiler:The "Year-End Party" event involves a seemingly ghostly "killer" that puts his victims under some form of mind control. Naturally, Shiyoon immediately falls under suspicion for his HypnoticEyes and lack of credible alibi, but he turns out to have been a victim all along.]]
* OtherMeAnnoysMe: The one person he's shown getting annoyed by is Shiyoung, his DistaffCounterpart from a different world and about the only person as impertinent and teasing as he is.
* ParentalAbandonment: [[spoiler:When he was 12, his parents, about to succumb to their Dragon Blood, entrusted him to Hilde before she {{Mercy Kill}}ed them.]]
* RedEyesTakeWarning: The few times he's seen with an eye open it's shown to be an unpleasant-looking red, [[spoiler:and he has the ability to hypnotize people with his gaze]]. However, his [[ChristmasEpisode Bell Watcher]] skin and cutscenes in Episode 7 show that his natural eye color is [[IcyBlueEyes blue]].
* SecretTestOfCharacter: [[spoiler:In Episode 7, Lucrecia gives him a gun with the theory that Mina's been the source of all his family's problems, and that shooting Mina with intent would allow the Draconoid to consume Mina and [[OurDragonsAreDifferent become a real dragon]]. Shiyoon [[TakeAThirdOption responds by shooting the Draconoid instead]], accepting his family's faults and ultimately putting their souls to rest.]]
* SignatureMove: Counter Attack. Only him, his Awakened form, and [[DistaffCounterpart Shiyoung]] can do it.
* StealthMentor: Episode 7 heavily implies that [[spoiler:he had retroactively been this to Mina from the very moment she joined Fenrir Squad (and technically survived MentorOccupationalHazard by acquiring his Awakened form).]]
* StepfordSmiler: Despite being a laid-back PerpetualSmiler, one of the contacts in his Counter Case states that it always seems to be forced. And indeed, beneath the cheerful snark is a man with quite a bit of emotional baggage.
* SuperSenses: He has exceptionally good hearing.
* TallDarkAndSnarky: His hair is a dark shade of brown, and he's definitely the tallest and snarkiest of the trio.
* TragicKeepsake: Episode 7 reveals that his Dragon Fang was his mother's sword.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: The eponymous party in "Year-End Party" wouldn't have become a mess if he [[spoiler:didn't say Sooyeon's password within earshot of Alex, allowing her to [[ItMakesSenseInContext hijack Machine G.A.P. and gain control over the venue]]]].
* TheWorfEffect: [[spoiler:In Episode 8, his Arhat form can only stall Hollow God Khamimael for a while after he sends the protagonist group to safety. He ends up being rescued by Rosaria.]]
* YouKilledMyFather: [[spoiler:Hilde took him in after killing his parents for possessing Qliphoth Factors. While he doesn't seem to be seeking vengeance on her (yet), his curiosity about Hilde and her inscrutable motives is a key part of his character, especially as she kept him and Mina alive.]] The climax of Episode 7 reveals that [[spoiler:his exceptionally good hearing let him overhear his parents' last words to Hilde before she gave them {{Mercy Kill}}s, and ''he never blamed Hilde for it that entire time'']].

[[folder:As a group]]
Coffin Company's first official mission under Machine G.A.P.'s management sees the onboarding of the ALT Squad, who's already made a name for themselves among the non-licensed, "underground" teams. Like the Fenrir Squad, ALT Squad has their own batch of secrets...
----
* AmazonBrigade: All four of them are female, and skilled Counters to boot.
* CommonalityConnection: John Mason strikes a friendship with them during their missions together, and his reason is revealed in Episode 5: [[spoiler:his brother Ian indirectly provided the ALT Squad a chance to escape the Syndicate while carrying out his own plan to dismantle them... but Ian didn't survive the attempt]].
* FourTemperamentEnsemble:
** Seo Yoon is Sanguine.
** Eujin is Choleric.
** Xiao Lin is Melancholeric.
** Kim Sobin is Phlegmatic.
* IdentityAmnesia: In Episode 5, [[spoiler:Seo Yoon tells Mina that she doesn't remember her past before the Replacer Syndicate experimented on her, implying that it also happened to the other ALT Squad members. In fact, her past was one of the CEO's extra rewards for her FakeDefector mission]].
* TheMutiny: [[spoiler:During Episode 1, the squad uses the Coffin Company as bait so that they can secure the corruption core they were hired to destroy, even if Lin, Eujin, and Sobin were reluctant to do it. This bites them back when they find themselves cornered by Ministra, the Shadow who possesses the core. Fortunately for them, Fenrir Squad is able to rescue them in time, ''after'' Mina makes them promise to give her their paycheck and all the Eternium they collected (though she leaves them enough to cover their expenses as "her lesson fee for opening her eyes").]]
* PhlebotinumRebel: [[spoiler:They were initially experiments for the Replacers due to a substance known as the Alternative Factor in their blood (hence the name "ALT Squad"), but escaped to strike out on their own. The Replacers now want them back to extract that Factor from them.]]

-> ''"You like me in this mode, huh? Then I'll stay this way, as the loyal employee that I am."'' (Awakened)
Commander of the ALT Squad. Leads her squad with her impressive leadership.
----
* AlternateSelf: Her "Broadcast Club Leader" skin is technically a version of her from another world, as shown in "New Semester".
* AmbiguouslyAbsentParent: Her third Counter Case shows her as a child with her sick mom, but her dad isn't seen or mentioned.
* BadassInDistress: In Episode 3, [[spoiler:she's captured by Replacer Bishop and imprisoned in a device that could potentially drain all her blood, and if it's tampered with while Bishop is still alive it would melt Seo's brain. However, in the epilogue Shiyoon tells Mina that the device had been inactive the entire time]].
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Admits to being one, saying that she wouldn't have gotten this far by being straightforward and naive. She may be disarmingly friendly on the surface, but she's a competent schemer and often has her own agenda.
* BladeOnAStick: Her Altergressive form carries Mistleteinn, an experimental spear-like weapon designed to interact with her Alternative Factor.
* ChessmasterSidekick: [[spoiler:By Episode 5, Seo answers directly to The Administrator and he relies on her to carry out large parts of his schemes in the field.]]
* TheCaptain: Of ALT Squad. [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration It's also reflected in her Passive]], which buffs all allies' Attack for 10 seconds after she's deployed.
* TheCynic: You wouldn't be able to tell just by looking at her, but she's quite jaded and untrusting on account of her past. If you form a Lifetime Contract with her Altergressive form, she admits that the CEO is [[TheOnlyOneITrust the only person she's fully trusted in a long time]].
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: After her NakedFirstImpression with Mina, she acts friendly with the crew. When Mina explains her motivations as a Counter, Seo gives her a little teddy bear charm for good luck. Later in the Episode, [[spoiler:[[BitchInSheepsClothing the charm is revealed to be hiding a device to attract C.O.s so that ALT Squad can steal the Artifact Core that the Coffin Company hired them to help destroy]]]].
* FaceHeelTurn: [[spoiler:Unlike the mutiny she led in Episode 1, she personally betrays the Coffin Company in Episode 4 for [[SocialDarwinist strength so she never has to feel weak again in her life]].]]
** [[spoiler:Episode 5 reveals that [[FakeDefector she was actually carrying out the CEO's plan to sabotage the Replacers and ambush them]]. [[SkewedPriorities She also did it to prove she was better than Mina]].]]
* TheGadfly: Her debut scene is her [[SkinshipGrope surprising Mina]] [[NakedFirstImpression in the shower]], and one of the things she likes about Mina is how easy she is to tease. She later goes on to have an absolute blast trolling Naielle in "Academy Field Day" and likes to get a rise out of Sooyeon as well.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: Hoo boy... [[spoiler:she starts out presenting herself as a friend to Mina, only to ditch Fenrir Squad along with the rest of ALT Squad so they can swipe a good chunk of their paycheck, goes back into Fenrir's good graces once they get saved, remains as an ally for a bit before personally defecting to the Replacers in Episode 4, turns out to later have been a FakeDefector all along...]] She does eventually settle on a side, but it takes quite a while for her actual allegiance to become clear.
* JackOfAllStats: Has the most balanced stat spread of ALT Squad.
* ManipulativeBastard: Seo normally plays the cheerful gadfly, but she is in fact a highly intelligent and somewhat ruthless schemer who will happily keep secrets from even her closest allies and lie without regret. [[spoiler:Fortunately, she's generally on the side of the good guys.]]
* MindOverMatter: Her LimitBreak in her normal form has her summoning a veritable arsenal, including her teammates' guns, and telekinetically emptying them in the enemy's direction. This becomes her default method of attack in her Altergressive form, with her levitated rifles even counting as separate units.
* TheMinionMaster: Her Altergressive form's telekinetically-wielded rifles count as separate units and are classified as Snipers, as opposed to Seo herself being a Ranger. Incidentally, this means that [[TacticalRockPaperScissors she and her rifles can each deal with the classes that resist the other]]. Additionally, her rifles can take damage meant for her, making her more durable than she appears.
* MissingMom: [[spoiler:Seo's mom was sick around the time Seo was kidnapped by the Replacer Syndicate, so whether her mom endured both that and the global Replacer Incident is left unknown.]]
* MsFanservice: Her "Unkempt Melody" skin manages to mix LittleBlackDress, {{Sideboob}}, and StockingFiller all in a very ornate dress [[{{Stripperiffic}} that has two very strategically placed straps to cover her chest]].
* MysticalWhiteHair: In her Altergressive form, her hair changes from brown to white.
* NameOrderConfusion: Helpfully averted. Her Disaster District Refugee License in her fourth Counter Case (before [[spoiler:Replacer Queen brought her into the Replacer Syndicate]]) confirms that "Seo" is her given name and "Yoon" is her surname (although in-game she's on a FullNameBasis with Sooyeon and several others). On the other hand, the Chinese localization treats "Seo" as her surname as per the naming conventions in eastern Asia.[[note]]Her name is transcribed in Chinese as "徐芸" (Xú Yún), with "徐" being a common surname but never used as a given name.[[/note]] A silent update to her third and fourth Counter Cases had her younger self labeled "Yoon Seo" and referred to that way by her mother as per the Eastern name order; the flipped name order likely stuck after [[spoiler:the Replacer Syndicate]] read it as such.
* NumberTwo: [[spoiler:She goes on to join Sooyeon as one of the Administrator's closest aides. While Sooyeon manages the business side of things, Seo serves as his primary field operative.]]
* TheRival: To Mina. PlayedForLaughs in Episode 6 when Mina requires help alongside her classmates, who have named their group "Mina Squad" after her, and Seo mistakes it for Mina getting a promotion over Hilde. [[spoiler:Additionally, after revealing herself to have been on the heroes' side all along and explaining the CEO's plan in Episode 5, she admits that challenging Mina to a duel wasn't part of it - she did that because [[ItAmusedMe she just wanted to beat Mina]].]]
* SexySantaDress: Her "Memories of a Snowy Day" skin combines LittleBlackDress and [[StockingFiller long fishnet stockings]].
* StarterMon: She's given as a TASKFORCE Plan mission reward after clearing Episode 1.
* StillBelievesInSanta: One of her post-Lifetime Contract lines in her "Memories of a Snowy Day" skin reveals this.
-->"If I help Santa out, he'll bring me lots of presents this year, right? What? Oh... hah hah... Of course I'm kidding... I know Santa... isn't real..."
* TechnicolorEyes: Her Altergressive form has a slight purple hue over her eyes.
* UncertainDoom: In "New Semester", [[spoiler:her "Broadcast Club Leader" version was last seen boarding her Counter Academy's Dimensional Ship to help rescue her world's version of Yoo Mina; in the "main" universe, the Official Support find that same ship abandoned]].

-> ''"My name's Eujin. Em... Err, I thought I had more to say, but I can't remember."''
ALT Squad's Assault Member. She's a hothead who tries to solve everything through her fists.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: In the Global server, her Rearm version was the first Fury user because it was released ahead of [[spoiler:Jaina Kropel]].
* AlternateSelf: Her "Cat Lover" skin is technically a version of her from another world, as shown in "New Semester".
* AlwaysAccurateAttack: Her Special post-Rearm has Sure Fire on the farthest available target (which is guaranteed to hit if the target doesn't also have Perfect Evasion).
* AnimalMotifs: Wolves. Lin insists on comparing her to a pig or boar instead (which also manages to be somewhat appropriate for her DumbMuscle nature and huge appetite).
** Her "Cat Lover" version's motif is cats.
* BalanceBuff: Received a Rearm that changes her class to Sniper.
* BigEater: Her metabolism is so extremely high that she requires around 9000 calories a day (around four-and-a-half times that of a regular human). Her Counter Case lists her as a budgetary concern because of how much she eats.
* BloodKnight: The most willing to start a fight in the squad and [[LeeroyJenkins frequently without a plan other than rushing in]]. [[spoiler:Her Counter Case implies that this was a result of her going through the Replacer Syndicate researchers' "isolation experiments" when her admiration for Seo to the point of emulating her was suppressing her Alternative Factor.]]
* BoobsOfSteel: She has the largest bust of ALT Squad and is considered the muscle.
* DumbMuscle: She's not exactly the brightest. [[CharacterizationMarchesOn Her Rearm bio describes her learning how to fight aggressively and effectively when brute force doesn't work]], [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration which is why her Rearm changes her class to Sniper]].
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: Her Hound Fangs that she wields in her Rearm initially had Skill Haste as their locked substat, but since her Rearm no longer uses a Cooldown gauge she's more effective with another weapon entirely. An update fortunately changed that locked substat to Attack Speed.
* GunsAkimbo: Her Exclusive Equipment is Hound Fangs, dual pistols that function properly even when they're thrown by a Counter.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Her Rearm replaces her Cooldown gauge with a Fury gauge.[[note]]Fury fills as the unit attacks more, and is boosted by Attack Speed rather than Skill Haste.[[/note]]
* OneHitKill: Her Special post-Rearm can instantly take out any non-Boss Ranger, Sniper, or Supporter below 30% HP (in Gauntlets, this extends to any non-Awakened unit under half HP).
* ShoutOut: Wields a [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry pair of handguns (one black, one white) that she got from an old guy]].
* ShrinkingViolet: [[spoiler:She used to be this when she was being roughed up by the girl who would become Replacer Knight during their time as the Replacer Syndicate's test subjects. Her "Cat Lover" version is implied to be how she could've turned out without the Syndicate's influence.]]
* StoneWall: Of ALT Squad. Specialized in Evasion rather than Defense.
* UncertainDoom: In "New Semester", [[spoiler:her "Cat Lover" version was last seen boarding her Counter Academy's Dimensional Ship to help rescue her world's version of Yoo Mina; in the "main" universe, the Official Support find that same ship abandoned]].
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Xiao Lin. While generally brash, Eujin rarely outright insults anyone other than Lin, though the two are still very much inseparable.

->''"I'm Xiao Lin. If the situation becomes unfavorable, I will retreat without hesitation."''
ALT Squad's Sniper. Cold and calculative, her observation skills are top tier in the field of combat.
----
* ACupAngst: In her wedding skin, she apologizes over the fact that her chest is less developed than the others.
* AnimalMotifs: Birds. Her Counter Case talks about her memory with a bird, and both her Rearms are named after birds.
* BalanceBuff: Received ''two'' branching Rearms: one that enhances her Sniper abilities, and one that changes her class to Tower.
* ColdSniper: Tries her best to be professional and aloof. More of a FriendlySniper following a Lifetime Contract.
* GlassCannon: Has some of the highest damage in the game as long as she's undisturbed, but she has some of the lowest HP of all Snipers, along with very little Evasion and Defense. Both her Rearms improve her survivability somewhat, but she's still very fragile with her only real defense being killing the attacker with her absurd damage output before they drop her.
* MasterOfYourDomain: She can control her own bioelectrical impulses, giving her ImprobableAimingSkills as a result. Her Rearms also have her using this ability to [[{{Technopath}} control support drones]].
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: In Episode 3, [[spoiler:she swiftly executes the original Replacer Bishop after Mina defeats her (since Bishop earlier told them that Seo would die if they were too slow), which ends up deeply traumatizing Mina due to Bishop being her former friend. In Episode 5, Lin admits she still feels guilt for doing so and hurting Mina after all she did for ALT Squad, and she isn't able to pull the trigger on Bishop's clone]].
* NumberTwo: She has led Eujin and Sobin at least three times in Seo's absence: in Episode 3, Episode 5, and the story arc in Dive Levels 46-50.
* ShootTheDog: Her Counter Cases reveal that she used to take care of a stray bird during her time at school, and her teacher helped her raise it in a secluded area despite the school's policy to kill any stray animal on sight. It ended up having baby birds, and eventually her teacher ordered her to shoot them as part of her sniper training. [[spoiler:She couldn't do it, and after watching her teacher shoot them dead she resolved to take her lessons more seriously. After she thanks the CEO for listening to her personal complaints and leaves, he muses that Replacer Queen may have done it to keep the Replacer Syndicate from disposing of Lin due to her stubbornness.]]
* SmallGirlBigGun: Noted as being the youngest member of her squad, and she has a fairly small stature. Her primary weapon is an anti-materiel rifle about as big as she is.
* {{Tsundere}}: Very tsun with everyone she meets, more dere to her squad [[WithFriendsLikeThese (except Eujin)]], and very dere to the CEO if she's given a Lifetime Contract.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Eujin. They're frequently bickering or outright threatening each other, but are rarely seen apart.

ALT Squad's Heavy Firearm Combat Personnel. She is usually soft-spoken and gentle.

* AbusiveParents: [[spoiler:It's implied that the people who took her away from her sister and father were hired by her mother.]]
* ADayInTheLimelight: She is a major character in Episode 2
* GatlingGood: Her weapon is a minigun.
* HyperspaceArsenal: Her Counter abilities give access to a dimensional pocket that she can tuck an arsenal's worth of weaponry into, along with the requisite ammo.
* MightyGlacier: She has high firepower and a very powerful Ultimate, but she also has the slowest movement speed among her team and a high deployment cost (shared with Xiao Lin).
* RedBaron: She's infamous in the Dark Network as the "Goddess of Destruction" and "Ms. Big Guns" due to her SplitPersonality.
* SplitPersonality: Usually kind and demure, she sometimes breaks into a persona that other characters call [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast "Goddess of Destruction"]], although it usually reverts back when she runs out of ammo.
* ShrinkingViolet: Typically the quietest of the group.
* TeamMom: Does her best to be mindful of ALT Squad's members.
* WalkingArmory: She goes around with multiple rocket launchers and at least two miniguns, though she only uses a single minigun most of the time in-game.

The Coffin Company's newest asset that the Fenrir Squad rescues right after Yoo Mina's arrival turns out to be Machine G.A.P., an egotistical robot who had bought out the majority of the company's shares. Everyone suspects rather heavily that G.A.P. is being remote-controlled by someone, but in general the members of the company roll with G.A.P. as their CEO since it saved them from insolvency. You take the role of G.A.P., or the person controlling it.\\
\\
[[spoiler:In actuality, the character directing Machine G.A.P., and thus you, are none other than the Supreme Administrator of the Old Administration. ----
* AlmightyJanitor: Machine G.A.P. is a hunk of junk that somehow bought a company! And it's probably being driven around by the company's actual buyer. * ChickMagnet: Many of the female employees' Lifetime Contracts more or less imply an affection ranging from ambiguous to very clear. Gaeun's fourth Counter Case shows her being very smitten with the CEO (she was [[ItMakesSenseInContext under the effect of an enchanted bunny suit that brings out her hidden feelings]]), Hana admits to finding his habits cute in the Gremory's Bar Side Story, and certain lines imply that Sooyeon [[ClingyJealousGirl finds him talking with other girls very irritating]]. Lampshaded in Sigma's Side Story, where Sooyeon snarks that he's "a womanizer with a daughter" after he thinks that fatherhood suits him.
* EasyAmnesia: [[spoiler:A combination of cryosleep and "spacetime recalibration" has done a number on the Administrator's memory. * EmbarrassingNickname: In "Frozen Corridors", he actually considers "cutie-pie" (given by Agnes) the most awkward nickname he's heard.
* FaceFramedInShadow:
** [[spoiler:When the CEO is physically shown (PV animations, the animated opening that plays during updates, the cover art of the "Administration Failure" side story, and most explicitly the epilogue of "Bottom of the Shade"), his short hair and the upper half of his head tend to be concealed in shadow.]]
** [[spoiler:Humorously, he also appears this way in one of the loading screen comics]].
* TheFaceless: The game is especially careful about not showing the CEO's full face, leaving plenty of room for interpretation. Alex's "Lethal Guardian" skin has a framed photo of him on one of the shelves behind her in her [=Live2D=] portrait, [[TheUnreveal but a streak of light reflecting off the glass cover conveniently obscures his face]].
* FeaturelessProtagonist: Machine G.A.P. is a black box with projectors on the side that allows it to have a "face". While it's voiced by male actors in both Korean and Japanese, Gaeun's Counter Case confirms that said voice is synthesized.
** [[spoiler:Subverted with the CEO himself. While he has the appearance of a businessman, the only explicit details about him are his light skin, tall height, his rather thin frame, his short hair, and his clean-shaven face. Sigma refers to him as "Daddy" consistently, but their "family relationship" is [[QuirkyHousehold decidedly unusual]]. Kim Hana is surprised by her new CEO's handsome looks when she was picking him up from the airport, and Eins and Zwei call him "Brother" when they meet him in person, confirming that he at least appears male.]]
* FunnyRobot: His [[TheGadfly Gadfly]] tendencies, ego, and appearance mean that Machine G.A.P. has quite a few amusing moments.

* IHaveManyNames: Aside from being called "Boss" by his employees, he is also known as [[spoiler:"Administrator" or "Supreme Administrator" to members of the Old Administration, "G.A.P. Dark" to Lone Lee, "Old Voice" to the Prydwen Institution (which Edel confirms in her Lifetime Contract), "Principal" to the students of his Counter Academy (as seen in "New Semester"), and "Sage" to the Seeker of Truth (which he tells Shiyoon in Episode 7)]].
* InSeriesNickname:
** Eins and Zwei call him "Brother".
** Sigma calls him "Daddy".
** [[spoiler:Sysop]] calls him "Father".
** Gaeun calls him "Teacher" ("Sensei" in the Japanese script).
** Discussed by Edel in her Lifetime Contract; she's not sure what to call him because she knows about some of his many names, but she settles on "Boss".
** One of Gabriel Jun's post-Lifetime Contract lines is him wanting to call the CEO "Michael the Hellkite", only to be rebuffed.

* NonActionGuy: [[spoiler:The CEO has access to all of the Old Administration's codes and abilities at his hands and can hack and redirect any of the necessary protocols, but he's absolutely worthless in a fight and makes the point that he should never be on the front lines.]]
* NoOneSeesTheBoss: [[spoiler:The CEO seems to be invoking this within the Coffin Company by using Machine G.A.P. as his remote-controlled proxy. He apparently also invoked this when he was the Administrator; in "End of the Maze", Lyudmila is greatly surprised to be meeting him in person as she considered his existence to be an urban legend, and he also mentions that Sooyeon's first response when he revealed himself to her was a swift kick to his shin (that still gets sore whenever it rains).]]
* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite all the morally ambiguous stuff he's done, he still takes certain things in stride like Sigma's insistence on calling him Daddy, and Sooyeon thinks that maybe he would be a good father.
* OlderThanTheyLook: [[spoiler:The "New Semester" side story implies that the CEO has been jumping worlds for at least 560 years; the camcorder that contained his oldest known memory is explicitly dated at 4,970,000 hours old.]]
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Machine G.A.P. consistently insists that it values money highly, and it is all too happy to engage in ostentatious displays of wealth.
* AProtagonistShallLeadThem: Brings together many different splintered groups together for his plans.
* RecliningReigner: [[spoiler:The Administrator's first "onscreen" appearance in Episode 4 Interlude 6 shows him propping up an elbow to recline on the armrest of his chair.]]
* SharpDressedMan: He's always wearing a sharp business suit on the few occasions where he's seen.
* ShipTease: A fair number of scenes and Counter Cases show various female characters being attracted to the CEO (the one in person). [[spoiler:Lone Lee is a unique case, as [[{{Robosexual}} she pines for G.A.P. Dark]] in "Fateful Summer" and "Vice President's Holidays" even before she sees the CEO in her Lifetime Contract.]]
* TinCanRobot: Machine G.A.P., the mighty confluence of science and technology, is a black cuboid robot with stereotypical pincher arms and a height of four feet, if that. [[spoiler:It's also an interface for the Terrabrain, which is its true function.]]
* WalkingSpoiler: It's hard to talk about this character in full without a riot of black bars. The game deliberately obfuscates a lot of this information from the player in the early parts of the game, with the reveals being part of the intrigue.
* WasOnceAMan: [[spoiler:It's '''''heavily''''' implied that the CEO is a Shadow. Despite nearly every one of his appearances in the Normalside showing him to be weak and sickly, he has no problem traversing Corrupted Zones or keeping up with high-ranking Counters across the freezing Counterside. In "End of the Maze", Sooyeon outright states that the Administrator is '''''immune to Corruption Rays''''', and in the epilogue he tells Lyudmila that Shadows are weakened by the air in the Normalside.]]

->''"Okay, I guess instruction in the field will help tighten up discipline."'' (Operator)
->''"I haven't worn this outfit in a long time. Lee Sooyeon, ready to fight."'' (Awakened)
A former apprentice of Hilde, Sooyeon is the founder and current Vice President of the Coffin Company. She was the acting CEO until Machine G.A.P. became CEO.
----
* BadassBoast: In "End of the Maze", she gives one to [[spoiler:Sollicitatio]]:
-->"Let me tell you something. Humans aren't capable of facing off against anything above Category 4 in the first place. But reality isn't all about numbers and categories. Which means, unless you get out of my face this instant... (activates Awakened form) I'll make sure you get a taste of what the ace of the Old Administration is capable of."
* BoobsOfSteel: Has one of the largest busts in the company, and is one of the most competent fighters.
* CoatCape: Drapes over her suit. She still keeps it even in her Awakened form.
* CuttingCorners: She's known for being a penny-pincher to the point of sometimes failing to properly restock snacks in the office. It's understandable at the start of the game when Coffin Company was barely staying afloat, but even when they have more money to work with, she's still rather tight-fisted to the point where her electing to give the White Rabbit Club financial support without argument led to [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness the CEO questioning if she was okay]] (he later decided she was, after Sooyeon stated that she wanted them to do TASKFORCE work in return).
* DaChief: One of the most reasonable and experienced individuals left in Coffin Company. It's implied that her leadership was the only thing keeping the company from going into bankruptcy.
* DynamicEntry: As with all Awakened units. Hers probably takes the cake: she flies across the screen and deals damage to the entire field before appearing.
* EyepatchOfPower: Has an eyepatch over her right eye. [[spoiler:She lost her eye twenty years ago during the Qliphoth Game while defending against Category 6 C.O.s.]]
* FeelingTheirAge: While she hasn't lost her touch, "End of the Maze" has her noting that she's a bit winded after using her new gear once and that she's not as young as she used to be.
* HeIsNotMyBoyfriend: She forcefully rebukes any claims that she and the CEO are in a relationship.
* IHatePastMe: Her opinion on her younger self. When the latter appears in the second Summer event, the former is conflicted in trying to restrict her or put her in her place.
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: Despite her high status, she still considers Hilde on a higher level.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite her twenty years of maturing and losing her naivete, she still has the same personality as her younger self; in the "End of the Maze" side story, when she finally sees battle, she wonders whether she should be [[CallingYourAttacks calling her attacks]].
* OlderAndWiser: Shows cases of it compared to her younger half, [[NotSoAboveItAll most of the time]].
* PromotedToPlayable: PlayedWith. Her younger self was first made playable as a Striker. Her current self was later made playable in two forms: first as an Operator, and then as an Awakened Ranger.
* RazorWings: What her new combat suit provides.
* RedBaron: "Ace of Wings".
* RetiredBadass: Was once Hilde's squadmate and apprentice, but an incident caused her to retire from the battlefield.
* SleepsInTheNude: The "Vice President's Holidays" event reveals that she sleeps naked, complete with a picture of her with only a bedsheet for cover.

'''Subtitle:''' Coffin Manager\\
'''Command Skill:''' Maximum Work Efficiency (Ranger > Supporter)
->''"Hm? The hangar is empty. ...Wait, are you talking about me?"''
The secretary and Director of Management of Coffin Company. She also takes care of the Partner Cards in the Dorm.
----
* TheAlcoholic: Known for drinking more than she lets on. Her bio implies that this is one of the reasons she fears becoming an OldMaid.
* TheHeart: She is often the most optimistic and kindest of the Coffin Company employees.
* IfItsYouItsOkay: While she's in a drunken stupor in the epilogue of "Gremory's Bar", Gremory's words make her consider if it's worth trying to go for a RelationshipUpgrade with the CEO... [[{{Robosexual}} Machine G.A.P]]. Then again, this might just be Hana invoking this to keep the CEO's ''true'' identity from being exposed.
* KickedUpstairs: Sort of. The lack of staffing in Coffin Company gave her a promotion to Director of Management, while she still has to do her secretary work as well.
* LoveEpiphany: Nicole mentions that Hana ordered nine cocktails in a row after Gremory's love advice (to confess her feelings to the CEO), implying that Hana had come to a realization.
* MrViceGuy: She frequently alludes to her drinking, implied to be much heavier than she says. "Gremory's Bar" shows that she tends to only drink a little but gets drunk easily, which snowballs into drinking a lot.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: She tells Gremory that she expects a guy who's as good as her coworkers, listing off Mina, Sooyeon, and finally the CEO.
* SureLetsGoWithThat: When Gremory tells her that there's nothing wrong with being in love with a robot, Hana's reply that she "convinced herself that the robot is a man" is implied to actually be this.

A new Operator of the Coffin Company's Combat Department. She has a bright personality and graduated from the Operator Training Institute with the highest honors.
----
* BokeAndTsukkomiRoutine: The StraightMan to Chloe's {{Cloudcuckoolander}}.
* HeroWorship: Of Kim Hana. She gets flustered when she sees Veronica taking over for Hana.
* MrViceGuy: Has high marks and a good attitude, but she loves drinking beer and goes out to drink almost every day.

->''"The spirit has spoken. I've been called by destiny."''
A new Operator of the Coffin Company's Combat Department. She's more passionate about the groundless theories of the occult that she found on the Internet than about her job.
----
* {{Chuunibyou}}: Believes heavily in special charms and occultic rituals.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Even her more typical dialogue tends to give way to a more scatterbrained personality.
* SnakeOilSalesman: Sells charms and divinity tools to anyone around her.
* ThisLooksLikeAJobForAquaman: Her Command Skill applies Sleep and Barrier removal, both of which are either easily removed or better on characters rather than an Operator. However, her kit is surprisingly useful against the Inhibitor Raid boss, as her effects weaken the Wall that defends Inhibitor.

->''"Everyone, Apocalypse is here at the sea. You will visit us here, right? (music note)"''
A part-timer at Apocalypse, Coffin Company's convenience store. Good yet clumsy at her job.
----
* FriendlyShopkeeper: She appears in the Shop menu.
* PromotedToPlayable: She became a playable Operator alongside the event "Vice President's Holidays".
* RichInDollarsPoorInSense: When she introduces herself in the tutorial, she says that her very frilly dress is the most normal and plain outfit she owns. In "Vice President's Holidays", Lara is upset that Serina made her do incorrect deliveries (sending a vacuum cleaner instead of garbage bags and grabbers for Roy Burnett, a volleyball instead of a parasol for Esterosa, and ''a key to a submarine'' instead of swim rings for Kang and Yumi). It's heavily implied that her manager has been exasperated with her ever since he hired her.
* SeriousBusiness: She is very determined at trying to get her promotion at Apocalypse from seasonal part-time intern to... part-time employee.
* StatusBuffDispel: Her Command Skill lets her remove all non-permanent buffs from enemies and prevents new ones for up to 14 seconds.
* SupremeChef: PlayedForLaughs. One of her lines has her bragging about her ability to cook mac and cheese... from the box following its instructions.

Director of Coffin Company's Corrupted Object Research Lab. Her real name is Park Jeongja.
----
* BrilliantButLazy: One of the world's leading experts on Corruption, but any time she needs to do any work, she pushes it onto Yoonjung instead.
* GeniusCripple: Subverted. She's mobile enough to perform strenuous exercise, with no sign of any illness or disability that necessitates her wheelchair and IV drip.
* TheMedic: As an operator.
* {{Narcissist}}: Frequently mentions how pretty and smart she is.
* TooImportantToWalk: The reason she uses a wheelchair despite having no apparent disabilities. That, and [[BrilliantButLazy laziness]].
* TranquilFury: Mentioning her real name will have her respond simply that she doesn't know who that is, after which she will attempt to leave the lab for a walk.

The assistant to Dr. Olivie Park, she lives on caffeine to keep herself awake while helping her boss with her theses.
----
* BeleagueredAssistant: PlayedForLaughs. She does literally ''all'' of Olivie's work, to the point where it's hard to pinpoint when she last had any sleep at all and is running solely on caffeine.
* ExhaustedEyeBags: Not surprisingly, she looks like she hasn't slept in days, given that her boss always has some sort of work with a strict deadline to dump on her.
* MustHaveCaffeine: Noted in-universe that her average caffeine intake would destroy the average person, yet she shows no side effects thanks to her genetics.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: It's said that she used to be energetic and full of life in her university days before she became Olivie's assistant.

----
* DisappearedDad: [[spoiler:Titan's last Counter Case reveals that her father was mortally wounded when Future-at-War's research labs were raided.]]

->''"Here comes the head of the Future Strategy Department, Sigma! Today's duties: none! Mm? What, what? What have you got there? A new job?"'' (Operator)
The CEO's daughter. In actuality, she's a very advanced part of the Terrabrain System.
----
* AmnesiacsAreInnocent: A robotic version. Exposure to Counterside radiation due to her personal shielding being damaged by C.O.s led to part of her data being corrupted, with her remaining algorithms combined with her experiences in the Counterside amalgamating into the childlike personality she sports.
* ArtificialFamilyMember: An AI construct that nonetheless sees the CEO as her father, and he quickly starts to return the sentiment. Given that he uses Machine G.A.P. to communicate with those outside of his inner circle and not everyone is initially aware that Sigma is a machine, some Coffin Company members naturally question how this even works.
* ConstantlyCurious: Her original directive was to analyze information she came across in the Counterside, and this later becomes a childlike curiosity toward just about everything around her.
* DaddysGirl: She sees the CEO as her father, and is very devoted and affectionate towards him. Her ultimate literally involves her calling him (in yhe form of an upgraded Machine G.A.P.) for help.
* DoesNotLikeShoes: Aside from her Dreaming Harmony skin, none of her skins include shoes. Of course, she doesn't have much need for them.
* EyesAlwaysShut: A variant where she constantly keeps one eye closed likely as a reminder of the single red light on her true form that gives it a CyberCyclops appearance. Only in her Awakened version does she keep both eyes open.
-->"Isn't one eye enough? Using two input devices for depth perception is a waste of resources."
* FatherIWantToMarryMyBrother: In her wedding skin, she announces that she wants to marry the CEO, who she regards as her father. The CEO lets her continue this delusion, [[TheGadfly if only to tease her about when she gets older]].
* GenderBender: One of her post-Lifetime Contract lines suggests she can easily make herself male if the CEO wants a son rather than a daughter. Justified as she's a technically genderless AI and hologram.
* GrewBeyondTheirProgramming: Sigma started out as an AI construct whose main purpose was as data storage for the Administrator, but the RobotMaid R4 encouraged her to find a purpose in life beyond simple directives as R4 itself had done the same, leading to Sigma developing her personality. Even the CEO is taken aback by her behavior when they first reunite.
* HologramProjectionImperfection: Averted in cutscenes, where her hologram is good enough to apparently pass as a normal human, but her in-game sprite has the hologram periodically flickering. Additionally, parts of her extremities are see-through in her [=Live2D=].
* ImmuneToMindControl: Her sophisticated AI is designed to resist hacking, so that she's immune to the Machine Collector's parasites and can free Titan and the other Future-At-War mechs in her side story.
* InnocentProdigy: An advanced artificial intelligence that can process and store huge amounts of data, but also essentially a naïve young girl when it comes to the real world.
* {{Leitmotif}}: [[https://youtu.be/WpJoOYWnXx8 SIGMA MARCH]], a jaunty Irish jig-inspired theme for a perky, fun-loving character.
* LoveImbuesLife: Her event details how she went from following simple commands to her usual form. Upon meeting a RobotMaid who talks about what it means to have a family and care for them, Sigma began to see the Administrator as something more prevalent in her own life.
* NiceGirl: Friendly, willing to help, and overall a total sweetheart to both the CEO and everyone around him, especially the machines at Coffin Company's disposal.
* PleaseDontLeaveMe: [[spoiler:To R4 during her side story, after R4 [[HeroicSacrifice suicide bombs a C.O. with a grenade]] to buy a damaged Sigma time to recover.]] Despite still having her original clinical, robotic behavior, the desperation still comes through clear as day:
-->"Checking [[spoiler:R4's condition]]... Permanent damage to main power system. Possibility of recovery... 0%. [[BrokenRecord Rescanning for possibility of recovery... Rescanning for possibility of recovery... Rescanning for possibility of recovery...]] [[TooInjuredToSave Possibility of recovery: 0%.]]"
* ProjectedMan: Sigma's humanoid form is a HardLight hologram she uses as an avatar to physically interact with others. Her real body (which her hologram form sits on when deployed as a unit) is a black rectangular machine rather like the monolith in ''Film/TwoThousandOneASpaceOdyssey''.
* SitcomArchNemesis: Sidestories often puts her at odds with Lee Sooyeon, with Sigma seeing her as a mean old lady.
* SpeaksFluentAnimal: In "Vice President's Holidays", she's apparently able to communicate with dolphins by analyzing their sounds and speech patterns.
* SupportPartyMember: Her attack is weak and she crumbles quickly when attacked, but she provides Deployment points, and lessens TacticalRockPaperScissors advantage for allies, and has a powerful summon.
* {{Technopath}}: Even given that she is a machine herself, Sigma has an intuitive ability to repair machines and defend them from hacking.

A dormant member of the Replacers who is awoken by the Administrator and secretly employed by the Coffin Company.

She first appears in the epilogue of Episode 5, she's a supporting character in "Bottom of the Shade", and she gains a bigger role from Episode 9 onwards.
----
* AlternateSelf: She's a version of Maria Antonov from another world (technically five years older).
* TheComicallySerious: During Episode 9, she accepts Albert and Maverick's statements at face value.
* MacGuffinSuperPerson: Her ability to purify Alternium is shown in "Bottom of the Shade". It's how the CEO is able to put Rita and Dash's souls to rest.
* TheMindIsAPlaythingOfTheBody: Despite being the oldest version of Maria Antonov, her general demeanor has her acting like a child when she's casual.
* OlderThanSheLooks: According to the epilogue of "The Inheritor", in 2049 of her original world she previously looked identical to the current Maria Antonov before becoming the last test subject of Project Terraside, and the process deaged her body.
* SixthRanger: She becomes part of Coffin Company after the Replacer Incident.
* SoleSurvivor: Her original world fell to the Counterside.
* TheStinger: She debuts in the post-credits scene of Episode 5, after the Replacer Incident has been resolved.
* WalkingSpoiler: Her existence in turn reveals the existence of a [[TheMultiverse multiverse]].
* YouAreNumberSix: In Episode 9, Albert and Maverick of the Dark Seven group call her "Number Five".

'''Albert:''' That's right. We just added whatever number sounded the most appropriate and cool.
