* {{Bowdlerize}}: Similar to ''Rack, Shack and Benny'', "The Bunny Song" is once again reworked from the original, rechristened as the ''NewAndImproved Bunny Song". Unlike the version heard in that episode's later releases, this one removes the more health-oriented lyrics in favor of altered versions of the original lines.

* FollowTheBouncingBall: Naturally. This episode and most sing-alongs afterwards from this show use the "highlighting the words" variant. Lampshaded at the beginning when the French peas are shown typing the words out with Qwerty, but they take it too far by typing out the words that Bob isn't even singing.
* LateToTheRealization: It takes Larry the ''entire episode'' to figure out that they're actually making a sing-along video, not an exercise, home improvement, or entrepreneurship video like he initially believes. By the time he's ready to ask what song they should do first, they're already on the last song.

In the final song, we see that Larry, along with Pa Grape and Mr. Lunt, are now a band of pirates known as "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything", before they start singing that they don't do anything. Pa is first as he sings about having never been in Greenland or Denver, and having never buried treasure in St. Louis or St. Paul, and that he's never been to Moscow or Tampa and that he's especially "never been to Boston in the fall". Mr. Lunt is next, singing about how he's never hoisted the main stay or swabbed the poop deck and that he never veered to starboard because he never sailed at all, and that he never walked the gang plank and never owned a parrot (played by Harry the Penguin in a cameo) before saying that he's "never been to Boston in the fall". Larry is last, before he starts singing about completely random stuff, such as never plucking a rooster, not being very good at ping-pong, and that he's never thrown his mashed potatoes up against a wall, as well as never kissing a chipmunk and never getting head lice, before singing that he's "never been to Boston in the fall". Pa and Mr. Lunt then berate Larry for singing about that stuff and that they're supposed to sing about "pirate-y things". When Mr. Lunt thinks that Pa Grape looks like Cap'n Crunch, Pa Grape sentences him to walk the plank, but Mr. Lunt outsmarts him. At the same time this is happening, Larry goes on singing about how he never licked a spark plug or sniffed a stink bug and that he never painted daisies on a big red rubber ball, and that he never bathed in yogurt and that he doesn't look good in leggings. Pa then tells him, "You just don't get it", before all three then sing "And we've never been to Boston in the fall". After they finish singing, the three then decide to watch Hiraldo on TV, before the episode then ends.

In the third and final part of the video, Larry, now wearing a business suit, welcomes the viewers to the very first "VeggieTales Success Video". Bob then shows up and finally explains to Larry about the sing-along video that they're doing. Larry is happy to hear that, saying that he loves sing-along videos, before asking Bob which song they'll do first. Bob doesn't want to explain to Larry that they're almost done with the show, telling him to "never mind", before hopping off. Larry then boasts to Bob that he bought a whole chocolate factory with no money down.

The episode begins immediately on the Countertop, where we see Larry the Cucumber wearing a Gourd's Gym sweatshirt and a headband, before welcoming the viewers to what he thinks is the very first "VeggieTales Workout Video". First, Larry does some hopping exercises to the left and the right, then jumps onto a trampoline as he starts jumping higher and higher. Unfortunately, Larry ends up jumping too high, so he hits his head on the bottom of the cabinet, unable to stop bouncing, as he keeps bouncing up and hitting his head on the cabinet. Bob the Tomato then shows up and explains to the viewers that Larry is a little confused, before explaining to them that it's actually the very first "Veggietales Sing-Along Video". Bob then explains that what they'll do is put the words at the bottom of the screen so that the viewers at home can sing along. The French Peas then demonstrate this by jumping on Qwerty's keyboard, but they keep going, even after Bob stops singing, as the scene then degenerates into total chaos. Bob then yells out "Roll tape!", but not without one of the peas saying, "[[WesternAnimation/TheJetsons Jane! Stop this crazy thing!]]"

The songs that are shown in the first half are the VeggieTales theme song, "I Can Be Your Friend" (from "[[Recap/VeggieTalesEpisode3AreYouMyNeighbor Are You My Neighbor?]]"), "Dance Of The Cucumber" (from "[[Recap/VeggieTalesEpisode4RackShackAndBenny Rack, Shack and Benny]]"), "The Forgiveness Song" (from "[[Recap/VeggieTalesEpisode2GodWantsMeToForgiveThem God Wants Me To Forgive Them!?!]]"), "The Water Buffalo Song" (from "[[Recap/VeggieTalesEpisode1WheresGodWhenImSScared Where's God When I'm S-Scared?]]"), and "God Is Bigger" (from "[[Recap/VeggieTalesEpisode1WheresGodWhenImSScared Where's God When I'm S-Scared?]]").

In the second half of the video, Larry, still in a case of confusion and misunderstanding, is now wearing a hardhat and a tool belt while welcoming the viewers to the very first "VeggieTales Home Improvement Video". Larry then explains that what they're going to do is change the leaky old fixture on the sink faucet and replace it with a new one "which will be quite attractive, and last for years to come". Larry is about to push on a wrench when he suddenly tells the viewers that it's very important in any plumbing job to shut off the water, and that he had Jimmy turn off the water to the kitchen. Larry then pushes on the wrench to take the fixture off the faucet, when Jimmy is heard saying, "Oh, you meant the kitchen sink". The minute Larry unscrews the fixture, he is suddenly thrust into the air on a geyser of water that shoots out from the fixture, at the same time that Jimmy Gourd shows up (this episode marks the first time that Jimmy appears without his brother Jerry), claiming that he thought that they were doing bathrooms and decks, at the same time that Larry calls out for Bob while he is still on the water geyser.

!Tropes:

* EpicFail: At the beginning of the video, when Larry is bouncing on the trampoline, he bounces up too high and ends up hitting his head on the bottom of the cabinet, unable to stop bouncing.
* ShoutOut: One of the peas yells out "Jane! Stop this crazy thing!" much like George Jetson from ''WesternAnimation/TheJetsons''.
* WalkThePlank: Pa Grape sentences Mr. Lunt to do this in "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything", but Mr. Lunt is able to outsmart him.
* WaterGeyserVolley: Larry ends up falling victim to this when he removes the fixture from the kitchen sink, due to Jimmy Gourd misunderstanding, thinking that they were doing bathrooms and decks.
