The Decepticons steal a powerful crystal from an ancient Incan temple and use it to power-up a devastating new weapon. The Autobots dig up Skyfire from the Arctic and head to Peru to stop the Decepticons' latest scheme

* AllThereInTheScript: Luisa, the Peruvian girl Spike and Bumblebee befriend, is not named in the episode itself. However, her name was given in the script and some tie-in material.
* HypocriticalHumour: ''[[TheStarscream Starscream]]'' of all Decepticons is outraged that Thundercracker was planning on betraying them.
-->'''Starscream:''' You ''putrid'' traitor!
* ImprobableAimingSkills: Megatron is able to use his new cannon to destroy the Autobots' Sky Spy while it was hanging out in Earth's orbit.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: Starscream blames Thundercracker for the quality of the steel used for the weapon frame they built, which leads to Megatron punching him off the side of the temple when he tries to defend himself. When Skyfire later arrives to destroy the cannon, Thundercracker contemplates helping him so Starscream would take the blame. However, he doesn't get far in his betrayal before Starscream catches the two.
* NeverMyFault: When they steel used to build the weapon frame of the cannon falls apart after it's used, Starscream puts all the blame on Thundercracker for stealing poor quality steel. The plan was actually Starscream's in the first place, and Thundercracker even tried to warn him that the steel they were after wasn't strong enough to withstand the energy of the Crystal of Power.
* PowerCrystal: The aptly named Crystal of Power is a large green crystal stored away in an Incan temple that the Decepticons use to power-up a laser cannon they built. The Crystal also prevents the energy leaking from Earth's core from escaping the temple and destroying the entire mountainside.
