Looking over Bam, the giant eel points out that Bam looks tasty, which Bam admits that he's heard that a lot. The eel gives off a smile, and establishes that Bam is indeed someone that is worthy enough to control shinsu. It asks Bam to now make the contract with it, which Bam thanks the eel for. White light begins to swirl around Bam, and he hears the voice of the 2nd Floor Guardian informing him that what he's been given isn't strength, but a form of shackles, and that Bam should remember this fact as he climbs the Tower. At this point, Bam's mind returns to his body in the classroom; having established his contract for the 2nd Floor.

Returning to their room, Bam and Khun take the moment to rest while discussing how their classes went. Suddenly, there's a knock on their door, which turns out to be Shibisu and Hatz. To his embarrassment, Shibisu explains that they're in need for friend signatures to complete their Scout assignment. Khun reminds them that they're teamed up with Anaak that took away Bam's Black March, but Hatz assures them that it no longer matters since teams were disbanded after the Crown Game. Taunting Hatz over his teammate abandonment, this causes Khun and Hatz to butt heads during their introductions to one another. Khun being a Ten Great Family member, and Hatz being a spirited swordsman. Despite Khun and Hatz being at each other's throats, Bam is left enjoying the moment, and introduces himself to them as the 25th Bam, but doesn't have anything else other than friends, which catches everyone's attention. Thinking about Rachel's words of how lonely of a person Bam is, Khun agrees to sign Shibisu's and Hatz's friendship forms despite being at odds with the latter.

After class, Bam meets his Wave Controller classmates such as Hoh and Lauroe. Seeing Bam struggle on his first day, Hoh introduces himself in a friendly manner, which he shows off the little balls of shinsu that he can create. Bam is left impressed, but Lauroe isn't, which irritates Bam. Lauroe then teaches Bam how to control his first bit of shinsu by imagining as if the whole world is in the palm of his hand. Following Lauroe's words, Bam's able to instantly create a ball of shinsu on his palm, which leaves Hoh stunned in disbelief.

Bam also meets his Wave Controller classmates such as Hoh and Lauroe. The latter of which teaches Bam how to control his first bit of shinsu in the palm of his hand. Meanwhile at the Spear-bearer class, Rak squares off with Ghost of the dreaded 3-man-team when it comes to their skills in spear throwing.

After class, Bam and Khun are resting in the room they've been provided, but are eventually met by Shibisu and Hatz. Shibisu explains that they're looking for friend signatures to complete their Scout assignment, which causes Khun and Hatz to butt heads during their introductions to one another. Despite Khun and Hatz being at each other's throats, Bam is left enjoying the moment. Meanwhile, Rachel is shown trying to get some sleep, but is left having a nightmare seeing Bam leave her behind now that he's starting to finally have a group of friends around him.

Spear-bearers were picked to test Ghost, Rak, Hyun, Aleksai, Goon, Parakewl, Mauchi, Pitzru and Inoa.

However, he points out that as a Ranker who doesn't want to take things seriously, he chose for the third class to be more of a fun day. Yu informs his class that their objective today will be to hit a really close target. Pointing out over a cliff, Yu asks the spear-bearers if they can see the close target in the distance. Mauchi points out that it's actually pretty far away for being considered close, but Yu asks for each of the spear-bearer Regulars to step forward, and to try to hit it. He also points out that if someone is able to hit the target within the next four days, they will automatically pass his test unquestioned. Mauchi is surprised to hear that they already got a chance to pass while Parakewl complains that they've been given a task without actually being taught how to do it.

Stepping in front of Parakewl and Mauchi, Rak moves forward ready to hit the target due to feeling bored, and states that he will be the first to pass the test. Parakawl and Mauchi complain that Rak is being full of himself, but Rak remains confident, and throws his spear over the cliff. However, he's shown to have missed the target by a long shot, which causes Parakawl and Mauchi to begin giggling at his failure. Rak is left stunned refusing to believe that he failed and watches as a spear flies by him. A giant spear smashes the target, and Rak looks behind him to see who threw it. Before Rak is Ghost, the giant Regular from Rachel and Endorsi’s team, as he greets Rak with a roar. Seeing the giant before him, Rak is left annoyed that Ghost had bested him in spear throwing.

The wave controller class concludes, and Bam is happy to find it over not being able to understand most of Yuga's teachings. The wave controller Regulars begin to walk out with class over as Ho walks up to Bam and introduces himself. Taking a seat next to Bam, Ho asks how difficult learning how shinsu works, which Bam admits to be true. Ho gives Bam some advise that its not knowledge that will help one control shinsu, but that it will come down to one's talent. He states that Bam comes off as someone who has such talent, and will no doubt be able to control shinsu soon enough. Bam doesn't agree with Ho's praise of him, and changes the subject over to Ho possibly being someone that can already control shinsu. Waving his hands, two yellow balls of shinsu form in Ho's hands to show off his ability to use shinsu, which Bam finds to be amazing.

Ho reveals that this is the limit of his current talent, and states that it's too weak to use in actual battle. Ho finds it confusing why someone with abilities as weak as him was placed at the wave controller position, and asks Lauroe, who's been sleeping next to Bam, if he agrees. Giving off a yawn, Lauroe concurs. Bam tries to reassure Ho that he must have a huge talent that just hasn't revealed itself yet, but Lauroe quickly rejects that idea.

Turning to Lauroe, Bam calls him out for being rude to others. Getting up to stand in front of Bam, Lauroe asks him to show his hand before him, which Bam does so. Lauroe then asks for Bam to imagine the world all around him gathering as a circle in the palm of his hand. Bam follows Lauroe's instructions, and is shocked to see that he has created a tiny ball of shinsu hovering above his palm. Bam questions what the light gathering at his hand is as he watches it disappear moments later. Ho is left stunned at what Bam could pull off as Lauroe explains that what Bam showed off was his god-given talent.

Finally remembering back to the blonde girl he saw in the Crown Game, Bam asks Khun how Rachel is doing. Khun answers that she's doing well, as the cut she received from Hwa Ryun (Mask) wasn't that deep, which Bam is thankful to hear. However, Khun goes with the lie that Rachel wished from him, and informs Bam that she's not the girl he's been searching for. Khun's lie continues by stating that he asked the girl about her knowning Bam, but was answered that she never met Bam before. Bam begins to feel disappointment that he was wrong about the girl he saw, which Khun tries to reassure him that confusion like this can happen. However, Khun notices that Bam has clenched the blanket covering him. Looking down, Bam states Rachel's name once more.

Bam arrives at the position room for wave controllers as he continues to think about Rachel. He thinks back to what Rachel had taught him over the years, such as the sky and stars, but states to himself that he doesn't care about any of it. Entering the class for wave controllers, Lauroe and Hwa Ryun, who now wears a patch over her left eye due to the injury she received from Bam, turn their attention to the door to see the newly dressed Bam walking in; wearing a black headband to cover the injury to his head. He leaves off stating to himself that he cares more about Rachel than the stupid things all around him.

Days ago within a waiting room, Lero Ro gives his greeting to the current group of Regulars, and states that he hopes they've all been doing well. Hoping that the Regulars will all work hard from here on out, Lero Ro gets to the point of this gathering, the Position Test. Some of the Regulars, such as Shibisu, question what Lero Ro is referring to, which Lero Ro explains that as shown in some of the previous tests, fighting in the Tower is a given, and is usually done in teams. He explains that Regulars are given a role to play different positions within the team. The five positions are as follows.

The fisherman, who fights at the heart of the battle trying to disarm their opponent. The spear-bearer, who utilizes spears from a distance to pick off foes from the back, and provide support for the fisherman. The light-bearer, who provides light in the darkest areas of the tower, and provides the team data. The scout, who charges ahead of the team, and provides support for the fisherman. And finally, the wave controller, who are the dominate shinsu damage dealers of the battle field who try to overpower their foes. Lero Ro also points out that there are positions outside these five types, such as being chosen as a guide, but states that such positions have nothing to do with the current group of Regulars.

Lero Ro explains to the Regulars that they will now be assigned to one of the five mentioned positions, and that they will be trained over the next month in said position. He then informs the Regulars that only those that achieve high-results at their position will be given the right to take part in the next test. Revealing a giant table monitor next to him, Lero Ro asks for the Regulars to look to it for their name that will be displayed under the position they were chosen for. While some of the Regular names go unmentioned near the bottom, showing up on the monitor are five different lists for the fishermen, spear-bearers, light-bears, scouts, and wave controllers.

Kancho notices how some of the Regulars have a BEST SEED title attacked to their name, and asks Lero Ro what it means. Lero Ro answers that the title was given to those that performed well in the previous tests, and explains that they chose one person from each of the previous tests that they believed to have performed the best; giving them a bonus point, a BEST SEED recommendation. This shocks the surrounding Regulars as Serena complains as to how Shibisu did well enough to get a BEST SEED title. Shibisu is confused to the point of questioning his title as well, but Khun informs him that he should be someone that's completely happy about it. Lero Ro explains that the BEST SEED tag was given upon fair and thorough evaluation of the Regulars in the previous tests. He also orders for the Regulars to stop with the petty questions as he's got more important things to do. His threat leaves the surrounding Regulars afraid of him as Shibisu continues questioning if he somehow bribed a Test Administrator at some point. Raising his hand, Khun informs Lero Ro that some of the Regulars are injured due to the Crown Game, and asks how they'll be able to take the Position Test. Lero Ro answers that once they're healthy again, they can start attending class for their position test. However, the position classes also keeps attendance scored, so those that miss class will be at a disadvantage. Khun objects stating that that's an unfair rule since the injured will no doubt miss some days of class, and while Lero Ro agrees, he mentions that it's the cost of getting injured in the first place. He asks Khun if that's not a fair trade-off, which leaves Khun speechless.

He then asks for the Regulars to follow the guide to the locations where they will eventually meet said teachers. He realizes that there's still a chance for Bam to attend the full class if he wakes up in time.

He informs Bam that he'll make it in time to start the test tomorrow for the wave controller group compared to the four other position groups that have already started. Bam sighs in relief that things turned out well for him, which Khun agrees that being in a class for wave controllers is probably the hardest of the positions to do well in.

It's not only the air they live and breath, but is the core of the energy all around them, and that people in the Tower can't do anything without it. Yuga points out that shinsoo can be used in an infinite amount of ways as if it was a blessing of god, such examples being water, fire and light. He next explains that controlling shinsoo can become a powerful tool for the user, and is a dangerous task to try to do so. Yuga next points out that because of his skills as a wave controller, he can kill the people sitting here within the next five seconds, which grabs everyones attention. He asks if they consider the very thought of instant death to be a scary thought, which no one chooses to answer.

Continuing the class, Yuga explains that in order for the Regulars here to properly use shinsoo as wave controllers, they're required to get permission from the Administrator's of the Floor. He points out that items, such as Rozeal's wand, are able to use shinsoo already, because the Administrator's already gave permission when the items were originally made. However, if a Regular desires to use a particularly high amount of shinsoo beyond a certain limit, than they'll be required to get permission from the Administrator. Yuga concludes that this agreement is known as a Guardian Contract, and that the contract needs to be done with the Guardian of every Floor if a Regular wishes to be unrestricted using shinsoo.

Turning to Lauroe, Yuga asks if he's already made a contract with the 2nd Floor Guardian knowing that he used shinsoo during the Crown Game, which Lauroe admits to be true. Yuga figures that it's because he can feel shinsoo while he's sleeping, but Lauroe answers that he just likes to sleep. Seeing how, unlike Lauroe, no one else in the class is part of the Great Family, or has already contacted the Floor Guardian, Yuga begins his explanation on how to form a Guardian Contract.

The 7th story arc of the ''Webcomic/TowerOfGod'' series consisting of chapters 28 - 30 from the first season. The arc centers around Baam and company being assigned one of five positions, and how they'll be trained up to excel in that position.

Baam wakes up from his unconscious sleep, which Koon informs him that their Tower Positions were given to them a few days ago during Baam's sleep. Lero-Ro shows the Regulars a monitor with five Tower Positions: Fisherman, Spear-bearer, Light-bearer, Scout, and Wave Controller. The Regulars are all assigned to different Positions amongst the five Tower classes. Amongst the classes, Baam is a Wave Controller, Koon is a Light-bearer, and Rak is a Spear-bearer. Koon reveals that despite Baam being unconscious, he got lucky since his Wave Controller teacher is apparently arriving late. He also lies to Baam that the girl he protected during the Crown Game wasn't Rachel.

Some time later, Baam arrives at his Wave Controller class where he is greeted by his teacher, Yuga. The teacher informs the group that in order to use shinsoo in the Tower, they must make contracts with each Floor Guardian. As a result, Baam meets with the 2nd Floor Guardian in order to create a contract that will allow him to use shinsoo on the 2nd Floor. Baam also meets his Wave Contoller classmates such as Ho and Laure. The latter of which teaches Baam how to control his first bit of shinsoo in the palm of his hand. Meanwhile at the Spear-bearer class, Rak squares off with Akryung of the dreaded 3-man-team when it comes to their skills in spear throwing.

After class, Baam and Koon are resting in the room they've been provided, but are eventually met by Leesoo and Hatsu. Leesoo explains that they're looking for friend signatures to complete their Scout assignment, which causes Koon and Hatsu to butt heads during their introductions to one another. Despite Koon and Hatsu being at each other's throats, Baam is left enjoying the moment. Meanwhile, Rachel is shown trying to get some sleep, but is left having a nightmare seeing Baam leave her behind now that he's starting to finally have a group of friends around him.

In a flashback, Baam remembers back to a time when Rachel told him of the true sky outside the Tower, and how the stars will appear when it switches to night. Rachel is seen asking Baam what he thinks is at the top, but Baam answers that he doesn't care, which prompts Rachel to point out that he has no hopes or dreams attached to him. Rachel answers for him that at the top of the Tower is something called sky, which Baam asks what she's referring to. She orders for Baam to lie down with her, and close his eyes. She then asks for Baam to imagine that the rocks above them are gone, and that the nothingness that's there now can no longer block them from going up. She informs Baam that one day, she will see the true night sky the way it's meant to be seen. Finding her story to be silly, Baam asks for Rachel to stop with her odd words, and to go back to eating their meal. Rachel's stomach then gives off a growl, and agrees that it's a good time to eat. Looking at Rachel, Baam hopes that she never leaves his side.

In the present, Koon and Rak are seen sitting at Baam's bedside hearing him talk in his sleep; continuously asking for Rachel not to leave him. Koon, having caught on that Baam is conscious again, calls for Baam to wake up, which Baam finally does so. Baam asks Koon where he is at the moment, which Koon answers that they're still on Evankhall's 2nd Floor. Baam gets up into a sitting position on the bed, but grabs his head when he begins to feel some pain. Koon asks for Baam to take it easy since he hasn't been fully healed yet, which Baam then asks how long he's been unconscious. Koon answers that he was in an unconscious state for five days, and that Rak was also worried.

Baam is shocked to realize that he's been asleep for five days, and asks Koon about their situation regarding the next test. However, Koon informs him that the test had already begin two days ago, which shocks Baam even further. Baam asks Koon if him being unconscious caused the team to fail, but is informed by Rak that they somehow still haven't failed yet.

Koon complains to the banana eating alligator that he was eventually going to tell him that they haven't failed yet, which Baam asks how such a case is possible. Koon, not knowing the exact reason himself, states that they were lucky, and informs Baam of Lero-Ro's announcement that occurred a few days ago for the next test.

Days ago within a waiting room, Lero-Ro gives his greeting to the current group of Regulars, and states that he hopes they've all been doing well. Hoping that the Regulars will all work hard from here on out, Lero-Ro gets to the point of this gathering, the Position Test. Some of the Regulars, such as Leesoo, question what Lero-Ro is referring to, which Lero-Ro explains that as shown in some of the previous tests, fighting in the Tower is a given, and is usually done in teams. He explains that Regulars are given a role to play different positions within the team. The five positions are as follows.

Fishermen were picked to test Anak, Androssi, Chunhwa, Deod, Leo, Kancho, Kon and Blarouse. Anak was given a BEST SEED title.

Spear-bearers were picked to test Akryung, Rak, Hyun, Aleksai, Goon, Parakewl, Mauchi, Pitzru and Inoa.

Light-bearers were picked to test Koon, Michelle (Rachel's fake name), Leon, Chungchung and Levin. Koon and Michelle were given BEST SEED titles.

Scouts were picked to test Leesoo, Hatsu, Nare, Palgyon, Catan, Chichi, Beckster, Shopin and Serena. Leesoo was given a BEST SEED title.

Wave controllers were picked to test Laure, Hwa (Mask's real identity), Ho, Rozeal, Grey and Baam.

The Regulars note that only a certain number for each group will be moving on. Four in the fisherman group, four in the spear-bearer group, two in the light-bearer group, three in the scout group, and two in the wave controller group. Koon is surprised to find that Baam's been chosen to be in the wave controller group, which also surprises Laure that he will be in the same position group as the boy. Anak and Androssi (who's the yellow dressed Regular that's been annoying Anak since the Crown Game), are annoyed that they ended up in the same position group with one another. Rak is also annoyed that he didn't end up in the fisherman group.

Kancho notices how some of the Regulars have a BEST SEED title attacked to their name, and asks Lero-Ro what it means. Lero-Ro answers that the title was given to those that performed well in the previous tests, and explains that they chose one person from each of the previous tests that they believed to have performed the best; giving them a bonus point, a BEST SEED recommendation. This shocks the surrounding Regulars as Serena complains as to how Leesoo did well enough to get a BEST SEED title. Leesoo is confused to the point of questioning his title as well, but Koon informs him that he should be someone that's completely happy about it. Lero-Ro explains that the BEST SEED tag was given upon fair and thorough evaluation of the Regulars in the previous tests. He also orders for the Regulars to stop with the petty questions as he's got more important things to do. His threat leaves the surrounding Regulars afraid of him as Leesoo continues questioning if he somehow bribed a Test Administrator at some point. Raising his hand, Koon informs Lero-Ro that some of the Regulars are injured due to the Crown Game, and asks how they'll be able to take the Position Test. Lero-Ro answers that once they're healthy again, they can start attending class for their position test. However, the position classes also keeps attendance scored, so those that miss class will be at a disadvantage. Koon objects stating that that's an unfair rule since the injured will no doubt miss some days of class, and while Lero-Ro agrees, he mentions that it's the cost of getting injured in the first place. He asks Koon if that's not a fair trade-off, which leaves Koon speechless.

Wrapping his explanation up, Lero-Ro states that the teachers for their positions will appear later to explain the schedules for their tests. He then asks for the Regulars to follow the guide to the locations where they will eventually meet said teachers. He also informs the wave controller group that their teacher ran into a problem on the way here, and will be forced to start class three days late compared to everyone else. The Regulars all begin to move out as Koon puts it together that the position which got delayed was the group Baam was assigned to. He realizes that there's still a chance for Baam to attend the full class if he wakes up in time.

Back to Baam's resting room, Koon finishes up his explanation of what went down during Lero-Ro's announcement of the Position Test. He informs Baam that he'll make it in time to start the test tomorrow for the wave controller group compared to the four other position groups that have already started. Koon also tells Baam that he was very lucky that things turned out the way they did, because all the other teams outside wave controller have already had two days of class, and missing out on them would have lost Baam a lot of points. Baam sighs in relief that things turned out well for him, which Koon agrees that being in a class for wave controllers is probably the hardest of the positions to do well in.

Finally remembering back to the blonde girl he saw in the Crown Game, Baam asks Koon how Rachel is doing. Koon answers that she's doing well, as the cut she received from Hwa Ryun (Mask) wasn't that deep, which Baam is thankful to hear. However, Koon goes with the lie that Rachel wished from him, and informs Baam that she's not the girl he's been searching for. Koon's lie continues by stating that he asked the girl about her knowning Baam, but was answered that she never met Baam before. Baam begins to feel disappointment that he was wrong about the girl he saw, which Koon tries to reassure him that confusion like this can happen. However, Koon notices that Baam has clenched the blanket covering him. Looking down, Baam states Rachel's name once more.

The next day, Baam is seen cleaning himself up in the bathroom. Baam takes off the bandage covering the top of his head. However, unlike what Koon had told him, Baam concludes that the person he saw in the Crown Game was definitely Rachel. He deduces that Rachel established the lie to make sure that she'll continue to climb the Tower without Baam in order to see the true night sky beyond the top of the Tower. However, he remains confused as to why Rachel is going to such a big effort to stay away from him. Looking at his new clothing in the bathroom mirror, Baam figures that it's about time for him to get going for the Position Test.

Baam arrives at the position room for wave controllers as he continues to think about Rachel. He thinks back to what Rachel had taught him over the years, such as the sky and stars, but states to himself that he doesn't care about any of it. Entering the class for wave controllers, Laure and Hwa Ryun, who now wears a patch over her left eye due to the injury she received from Baam, turn their attention to the door to see the newly dressed Baam walking in; wearing a black headband to cover the injury to his head. He leaves off stating to himself that he cares more about Rachel than the stupid things all around him.

The six wave controller Regulars, Baam, Laure, Ho, Hwa Ryun, Rozeal and Grey sit at their desks as the teacher for their Position Test introduces himself to them. Naming himself Yuga, the Ranker announces that he will be in charge to teach the Regulars here for the wave controller position class. Hwa Ryun looks at their teacher in silence.

Turning to Laure, Yuga asks if he's already made a contract with the 2nd Floor Guardian knowing that he used shinsoo during the Crown Game, which Laure admits to be true. Yuga figures that it's because he can feel shinsoo while he's sleeping, but Laure answers that he just likes to sleep. Seeing how, unlike Laure, no one else in the class is part of the Great Family, or has already contacted the Floor Guardian, Yuga begins his explanation on how to form a Guardian Contract.

The first step Yuga orders is for the class to close their eyes, which they all do so. Second, then asks for the class to change their pockets to visible mode, and informs them that their E-rank pockets are capable of forming Guardian Contracts as far as the 40th Floor, and will need to purchase better pockets to form contracts beyond it. The third step Yuga asks is for his students to say Contract With the Guardian to their pockets, which they do so. Baam's mind gets sucked into his pocket, and he awakens before a giant gray eel.

The eel speaks to Baam stating that he's the Guardian of the 2nd Floor, and asks the boy if he's here to form a contract. Baam says nothing, which causes the eel to ask again, or if Baam is perhaps looking for a fight. Not wanting any trouble, Baam confirms this time around that he's here for the contract. The giant eel accepts Baam's answer, and states that it will now be checking to see if Baam is someone who meets the qualifications to control shinsoo.

Looking over Baam, the giant eel points out that Baam looks tasty, which Baam admits that he's heard that a lot. The eel gives off a smile, and establishes that Baam is indeed someone that is worthy enough to control shinsoo. It asks Baam to now make the contract with it, which Baam thanks the eel for. White light begins to swirl around Baam, and he hears the voice of the 2nd Floor Guardian informing him that what he's been given isn't strength, but a form of shackles, and that Baam should remember this fact as he climbs the Tower. At this point, Baam's mind returns to his body in the classroom; having established his contract for the 2nd Floor.

However, he points out that as a Ranker who doesn't want to take things serious, he chose for the third class to be more of a fun day. Yu informs his class that their objective today will be to hit a really close target. Pointing out over a cliff, Yu asks the spear-bearers if they can see the close target in the distance. Mauchi points out that it's actually pretty far away for being considered close, but Yu asks for each of the spear-bearer Regulars to step forward, and to try to hit it. He also points out that if someone is able to hit the target within the next four days, they will automatically pass his test unquestioned. Mauchi is surprised to hear that they already got a chance to pass while Parakewl complains that they've been given a task without actually being taught how to do it.

Stepping in front of Parakewl and Mauchi, Rak moves forward ready to hit the target due to feeling bored, and states that he will be the first to pass the test. Parakawl and Mauchi complain that Rak is being full of himself, but Rak remains confident, and throws his spear over the cliff. However, he's shown to have missed the target by a long shot, which causes Parakawl and Mauchi to begin giggling at his failure. Rak is left stunned refusing to believe that he failed and watches as a spear flies by him. A giant spear smashes the target, and Rak looks behind him to see who threw it. Before Rak is Akryung, the giant Regular from Rachel and Androssi's team, as he greets Rak with a roar. Seeing the giant before him, Rak is left annoyed that Akryung had bested him in spear throwing.

The wave controller class concludes, and Baam is happy to find it over not being able to understand most of Yuga's teachings. The wave controller Regulars begin to walk out with class over as Ho walks up to Baam and introduces himself. Taking a seat next to Baam, Ho asks how difficult learning how shinsoo works, which Baam admits to be true. Ho gives Baam some advise that its not knowledge that will help one control shinsoo, but that it will come down to one's talent. He states that Baam comes off as someone who has such talent, and will no doubt be able to control shinsoo soon enough. Baam doesn't agree with Ho's praise of him, and changes the subject over to Ho possibly being someone that can already control shinsoo. Waving his hands, two yellow balls of shinsoo form in Ho's hands to show off his ability to use shinsoo, which Baam finds to be amazing.

Ho reveals that this is the limit of his current talent, and states that it's too weak to use in actual battle. Ho finds it confusing why someone with abilities as weak as him was placed at the wave controller position, and asks Laure, who's been sleeping next to Baam, if he agrees. Giving off a yawn, Laure concurs. Baam tries to reassure Ho that he must have a huge talent that just hasn't revealed itself yet, but Laure quickly rejects that idea.

Turning to Laure, Baam calls him out for being rude to others. Getting up to stand in front of Baam, Laure asks him to show his hand before him, which Baam does so. Laure then asks for Baam to imagine the world all around him gathering as a circle in the palm of his hand. Baam follows Laure's instructions, and is shocked to see that he has created a tiny ball of shinsoo hovering above his palm. Baam questions what the light gathering at his hand is as he watches it disappear moments later. Ho is left stunned at what Baam could pull off as Laure explains that what Baam showed off was his god-given talent.

With the day over, Baam is seen resting with Koon in a room that had been given to them. Falling in exhaustion, Koon complains that his class was a complete bore having to learn so much as a light-bearer. Baam agrees that he also had a rough time in class not being able to understand anything, which Koon complains that he didn't enter the Tower just to end up sitting in a classroom.

Baam next questions about Rak's whereabouts, which Koon informs him that Rak is in a furious state at the moment, and ran off somewhere. Baam questions what he means, which causes Koon to reenact Rak's enraged statement about wanting to go back to the wild. Koon deduces that something must of happened that riled Rak up in his spear-bearer class, which Baam laughs in agreement.

Hearing a knock of the door, Baam gets up to check who it is, and shows Leesoo and Hatsu greeting him. Koon questions what brings the two of them to their room, which Leesoo embarassingly asks for them to become friends. Both Leesoo and Hatsu hold up pieces of white paper as Baam and Koon are left confused at this turn of events.

Moments later, all four are now sitting in Baam and Koon's room; having heard the explanation that Leesoo and Hatsu's homework for their scout position is to become friends with ten people. Koon asks if Leesoo is truly trying to be his friend, which Leesoo denies, and is only doing it because Rak told him that Koon is someone who loves making friends, much to Koon's annoyance. Koon points out that they've got no reason to help them, especially considering that they're teammates of the green lizard girl that took Black March from Baam.

However, Hatsu agrees that Anak's previous actions were against the spirit of swordsmanship, and also points out that the teams were disbanded after the Crown Game, so they no longer have anything to do with her. Koon calls out Hatsu how his intention to throw away someone that was once his teammate is an evil action that would also go against his swordsmanship spirit. However, Hatsu counters that he only follows what he considers to be the correct path, and points out how the way Koon dresses makes him look like a narrow-minded girl. Sparks fly between Koon and Hatsu as Leesoo tries to calm them down, and asks that they should all start with introductions.

Starting it off, Koon introduces himself as Koon Aguero Agnis; a son of one of the Ten Great Families, and that unlike everyone here, he is considered a noble. Hatsu interrupts by informing Koon that they wanted to know about him rather than his family history, and to stop decorating his character like the earrings he's wearing, which angers Koon once more. Leesoo holds the enraged Koon from trying to fight Hatsu, and asks for the latter to take a turn introducing himself. Leesoo also gets close to Hatsu to remind them that he's been struggling to acquire friends due to his temper, and begs for Hatsu to calm down.

Apologizing, Hatsu introduces himself as an 18-year-old boy that was a son of a swordsmith, and that growing up with an appreciation of the sword made him a spiritual follower of swordsmanship. This time, Koon calls him out as someone spouting old spirit stories, and jokes that Hatsu's family must enjoy saying hara-kiri (ritual Japanese suicide) to one another, which ticks Hatsu off. Leesoo begs for Hatsu to calm down, who yells at Koon that hara-kiri is noble and manly. However, Koon counters with a statement that Hatsu's family must answer with hara-kiri when they're trying to order a large pizza.

Unable to deny it, Hatsu admits that his family threatened to hara-kiri whenever Hatsu wasn't proving himself to be manly, which leaves Leesoo shocked that the hara-kiri joke was actually legit. He then questions Koon if people ever talked behind his back about the girly earrings he wears. However, Koon answers that earrings are such a trend from where he originally lived that even animals and objects had their own earrings, which Leesoo refuses to believe to be true. Koon and Hatsu remain with their heads locked ready to continue fighting as Leesoo facepalms in disappointment that they failed to make friends again.

At this point, Baam finally speaks, and states that they should become friends. He introduces himself as 25th Baam, but asks that they just call him Baam. He finishes his introduction stating that there's nothing much to know about him as Koon warns him that they're only here to fill out their friendship papers rather than actually trying to befriend him. However, Baam explains that he grew up not having a family or house, and all he had on him was a dirty piece of cloth. Koon, Leesoo and Hatsu continue to listen as Baam states that he thought he was going to die all alone, but gives off a smile, and thanks the two for becoming friends with him.

Hearing Baam's statement, Koon thinks back to what Rachel told him about how he was originally a lonely boy that knew no one until the day that she came across him. Koon finally caves, and agrees with Leesoo and Hatsu to become friends, which leaves Leesoo happy, and thanks Baam and Earrings. Koon gets enraged once more asking if Leesoo wants to die, which Hatsu points out that a bit of Rak has been wearing off on him. Koon counters claiming that his bad mood is because of the hara-kiri swordsman, which Hatsu orders for Koon to call him by his real name. Rak meanwhile, is seen climbing a rope outside the complex they're in as a means of training to eventually get back at Akryung.

At another resting room, Rachel is seen having already fallen asleep. She begins to have a dream, and sees herself walking on the clouds looking up at the night sky. Turning to look in another direction, she sees Baam nearby watching her in the distance. Continuing to look at Baam, black silhouettes of the Floor of Test Regulars begin to surround him, as Baam gives off as smile to Rachel, and turns around to join with the group that he now considers to be his friends. The image of Baam and the black silhouettes then disappears from Rachel's dream as she realizes that she's now alone. Rachel then wakes herself up from the dream, and shown to be short of breath.
