* VocalEvolution: [[Creator/CharlieAdler Charlie Adler's]] voice for Buster is noticeably higher in this episode, almost sounding as if it were pitch-shifted slightly. Montana Max's voice also became a little deeper in later episodes, but it's justified in his case, as Danny Cooksey was the one of the only actual children in the voice cast.

* BaitAndSwitch: After the narrator says, "An ill wind is blowing", Plucky can be seen windsurfing, until the wind dies down. The camera then pans to reveal that Hamton, in a rowboat, is blowing the wind for Plucky's sail.
