Sho, disguised as Rin, meets with Betsutengai, who becomes very suspicious, and together with the Genkishu, ride their demon birds to the Limitless Temple. As this happens, Rin discovers that Unshou and Kei Gai also met with Betsutengai. He then goes to unlock the safe containing the hilt of the Tengyouken, transforming his pipe into chopsticks. Erstwhile, after Sho receives the gold agreed upon for the crossguard of the Tengyouken, he is questioned by Betsutengai and Chyou Mei, who have already seen through his disguise. Sho then acts as bait to allow Rin to finish his part. However, Betsutengai had kept the hilt on him the entire time. Meanwhile, Ken and Tan Hi also head to the Limitless Temple by way of a Spirit Tree. There, they find the crossguard before the others arrive. They were followed by Unshou and Kei Gai, though, and are forced to fight. Unshou and Kei Gai obtain the crossguard and force Ken and Tan Hi to retreat. Rin, alone again, sets up a trap.

* DoppelgangerSpin: He can pull shadow clones of himself to throw his targets off his real self in order to pierce them.
* EyeScream: Unshou impaled Sanun's right eye with an arrow attack, leaving Sanun impaired for the rest of his fight. Ironically, Unshou is also blind on his right eye.
* FriendOrIdolDecision: In episode 11, Tan Hi was forced into the situation where she has to choose to between saving her Tengyouken guard, or the life of Ken Sanun. She chose to protect Sanun.
* HoldingHands: Where they have to hold hands in order to stay together when using the Spirit Tree in order to get to the Limitless Temple.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: His plan to leave Demon Spine Mountain with Tan Hi and get to the Tengyouken's guard before everyone else backfires horrible as Shyu Unshou and Kei Gai predicted their strategy and stole the piece from them.

Bù Huàn, disguised as Xuě Yā, meets with Tiān Hái, who becomes very suspicious, and together with the Xuán Guǐ Zōng, ride their demon birds to the Limitless Temple. As this happens, Xuě Yā discovers that Yún Xiāo and Xíng Hài also met with Tiān Hái. He then goes to unlock the safe containing the hilt of the Tiān Xíng Jiàn, transforming his pipe into chopsticks. Erstwhile, after Bù Huàn receives the gold agreed upon for the crossguard of the Tiān Xíng Jiàn, he is questioned by Tiān Hái and Diāo Mìng, who have already seen through his disguise. Bù Huàn then acts as bait to allow Xuě Yā to finish his part. However, Tiān Hái had kept the hilt on him the entire time. Meanwhile, Cán Yún and Fěi also head to the Limitless Temple by way of a Spirit Tree. There, they find the crossguard before the others arrive.
