When he's unable to rescue the survivors himself, Ace watches as his partner Jimbo Cobb lifts the car without touching it, rescuing the passengers. Having his feat witnessed, Jimbo clarifies to Ace that he in fact possesses the ability of telekinesis, but hasn't used it since he was a kid. Seeing the opportunity of a major windfall, Ace drags Jimbo to Las Vegas, hoping to use his abilities to win big at craps and roulette so he can marry his girlfriend and waitress Kitty. When Jimbo's powers seem to go away after one game too many, Ace learns that not every problem can be solved with money or psychic powers.

* MindOverMatter: Jimbo has possessed telekinesis all his life. When he was young, he just assumed that [[IThoughtEveryoneCouldDoThat everyone had the ability]]. He stopped using it since he frequently gave him headaches and got him in trouble at school. He is forced to reveal it for the first time since childhood when a car turns over outside the Happy Daze Café, and there's no other way to save the people inside.
