Levin is still not forgiven by Lyuba after their breakup, and now she treats Levin extremely rudely. He asks Kupitman for advice, and he suggests Levin to act romantically to motivate Lyuba for one, last "break-up sex": their relationship must end on a good note. He manages to convince her to try, but Levin worries too much and fails to satisfy her, making situation ever worse. Levin asks Kupitman for help again, and he gives Levin viagra... only for Lyuba to refuse Levin, after he already took the pill. Levin tries to defeat his boner by reading the science books, but this not only doesn't work, but also enrages Lyuba even further when she sees this, and thinks that he finds his books sexier than her. Levin decides to just confront her directly; it indeed makes her forgive him -- and makes her want to restart their relationship...

Lobanov must somehow escape from work earlier, so he can drink with his friends. He decides to trick Bykov into giving him a sick leave, by simulating being sick. Unfortunately for him, Bykov overhears his plan, and forces him to stay in the hospital, as "a patient". When Bykov gets bored with just keeping him in the ward, he gives him some "antibiotic" which would cause extreme health damage if Lobanov would drink any alcohol. Sad Lobanov tells his friends that he can't come... only for Bykov to admit that "antibiotic" was fake, and lets Semyon go... just before warning him that he's punished with entire week of night shifts.

Gleb enrages Varya, by accidentally splashing her with water and insulting her. His initial attempt to apologise only makes her even angrier. Gleb tries to apologise to Varya in progressively more ridiculous ways, only to make situation worse each time. This culminates in him offering Varya to just splashing him, like he did her before... only for Varya to splash ''Bykov'' instead, and get punished.

shifts after that.

Gleb enrages Varya, by accidentally splashing her with water and insulting her. His initial attempt to apologise only makes her even angrier. Gleb tries to apologise to Varya in progressively more ridiculous ways, only to make situation worse each time. This culminates in him offering Varya to just splashing splash him, like he did her before... only for Varya to splash ''Bykov'' instead, and get punished.

* BlatantLies: Gleb tries to pretend that he was forced to play part in Bykov's plan (even sending Semyon a fake photo from party which Lobanov can't attend), and demands "compensation" for cruelly pranking his friend. Bykov points out that Gleb joined in voluntarily, and was actively making suggestions.

** In the beginning, when attempting to apologise, Gleb asks whether Varya simply has PMS. This, unsurprisingly, makes her even angrier. Gleb's later attempts also ends in failure, due to either causing Varya problems from Bykov, or due to accidentally endangering the other people (like giving a little girl some chocolate, not being aware that she is allergic, or trying to hire a patient for improvised striptease, which leads to him being injured). In the end, he offers her to just splash him like he splashed her before; but she accidentally splashes ''Bykov'' instead, which leads to Varya being punished.

** In Gleb accidentally splashed Varya with water, which made her ''very'' angry at him. Gleb's attempts to apologise always makes the beginning, when attempting situation worse:
*** Gleb tries
to apologise, Gleb asks whether saying that he just didn't notice her, being busy talking via phone. Varya simply has PMS. This, unsurprisingly, reminds that he was talking with her about how he "splashed some cow". When she rejects his apologies, Gleb makes her even angrier. Gleb's later attempts also ends a silly joke about PMS. Unsurprisingly, she gets angrier.
*** Gleb tries to send other people to apologise
in failure, due to either causing his regard, in hope that Varya problems from Bykov, or due would at least listen to them first, but accidentally endangering the other people (like giving a ends up hurting them. The patient with "Varya, please forgive me!" written with iodine on his back makes Varya write "no" in response, only to get busted by Bykov with predictable results. The little girl some chocolate, not whom Gleb bribed with chocolate turned out being aware that she is allergic, or trying to hire a allergic. And the patient for asked to perform improvised striptease, which leads to him being injured). In the end, he offers her to just splash him like he splashed her before; but she striptease accidentally injures himself.
*** Gleb comes up with an idea: just let Varya splash him to get even. But she misses Gleb and
splashes ''Bykov'' instead, which leads to who predictably punishes her. Varya being punished.thinks that Gleb did this deliberately.
** Lyuba is still angry at Levin after their breakup. Levin doesn't get the hint to get lost, and bothers her some more, asking whether it's because they broke up. When she says that "there wasn't anything", he says that logically speaking, if there "wasn't anything", she should treat him normally. He only leaves when she threatens him with physical violence unless he shuts up.

* HereWeGoAgain: In the end, Lyuba decides to resurrect her and Levin's relationship... [[OhCrap to Levin's fear]].

to:

* GetOut: Levin takes viagra as suggested by Kupitman, and asks when it would work; he gets response that "you would feel it". When he says that he already feels ''it'', Kupitman tells that he's glad, and orders him to leave the office and stay as far away as possible.
* GoneHorriblyRight: Levin makes one last attempt to make Lyuba forgive him via "last break-up sex". She likes it so much, it she decides to restart their relationship, something Levin didn't want.
* HereWeGoAgain: In the end, Lyuba decides to resurrect her and Levin's relationship... [[OhCrap relationship -- something Levin has tried to Levin's fear]].''avoid'' couple of episodes ago.

** In the opening dialogue we learn that Gleb accidentally splashed Varya with water... and then told her about how he "splashed some cow with water" via phone, not aware that this "cow" was her. When she tells him about it, he tries to apologise, but then [[DiggingYourselfDeeper asks whether Varya has PMS]]. This makes her even angrier.

* KickTheDog: Not only Gleb agreed to take part in Bykov's prank on Lobanov willingly, but he's the one who suggested to torment Semyon further, by sending him fake photo allegedly from the party. He hoped to get some reward from Bykov, but gets none, as Bykov doesn't like blatantly false attempt at flattery.

* LongList: Bykov busts Varya writing "no" on the patient's back with iodine, replying to Gleb's apologise letter written the same way. When she fails to explain "what the hell is that", Bykov goes on a rant, giving her a ''long'' list of things banned in his department; amongst other things, it's forbidden to: write love letters on the patient's back; use stilts; shoot from assault riffle; drink patients' tests material; shove Bykov's joystick into butt; dry cats in microwaves; skip paying taxes; lick power sockets; drink toilet water...

* PlayingSick: Lobanov's plan to fool Bykov into letting him go early is to pretend that he has sinusitis. Unfortunately for Lobanov, Bykov already knows about this plan [[ImStandingRightHere due to being in same room when he voiced it]]. Instead of just destroying his "cover" right here and now, Bykov forces Lobanov to go full way, and puts him in a ward as "a patient".
* RagingStiffie: Levin suffers from a painful, uncontrollable boner after Kupitman gives him viagra. It is [[GagPenis strong enough]] to hold a stake of books. ''Large'' stake. Unfortunately, Kupitman refuses to help him again, so Levin must find [[ThinkUnsexyThoughts another way]] to deal with it.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: When Bykov [[ItMakesSenseInContext sees Levin with a huge boner and a stake of science books]], he is so shocked that he decides to just silently leave. He later tells Kupitman that he's now slightly afraid of Levin.
* ThinkUnsexyThoughts: When Kupitman refuses to help with Levin's [[RagingStiffie uncontrollable boner]], Levin tries to distract himself by reading scientific books. Not only he fails, it makes situation worse when Lyuba sees him like this and interprets it as him having hard on for books but not her.
* WomanScorned: Levin is still not forgiven by Lyuba, and she acts extremely hostile towards him without any provocation. He tries to ask Kupitman for help, and even receives adequate advices this time, but [[DiggingYourselfDeeper botches everything by himself and makes bad situation worse]], multiple times, making Lyuba think that he finds her ugly.

* SmallNameBigEgo: Levin (himself just an intern with a list of screwups just as long as Semyon's) tells to Lobanov's face (when some offscreen scheme got foiled) that "it's silly that the dumbest doctor of the hospital is trying to fool the smartest". Semyon tells him that he's about to become the deadest doctor, and asks what's so hard in just playing along and telling him sinusitis symptoms.
