!!Episode #10 "Everything is Wonderful"
Simon Willians, owner of a company that was bought from under him by Tony Stark (Iron Man) swears revenge, and his brother (the Grim Reaper) convinces him to gain the powers to do so by undergoing an experiment carried out by AIM. '''Notes:'''

!!Episode #13 "Gamma World Pt. 2"

'''Notes:'''

'''Notes:'''

!!Episode #15 "459"
Ant-Man and Wasp visit a space research facility where they met Agent Carol Danvers. When it is attacked by an alien robot, a scientist reveals that he's actually CaptainMarVell of the alien Kree empire, and that the robot has decided to blow up the Earth with a bomb. With his help The Avengers prevent this, then he leaves Earth to try to convince his people not to invade Earth.

'''Notes:'''
* At the end of the episode, we see that Carol Danvers has somehow gained powers from being saved by Mar-Vell. She'll later appear in Season 2 as MsMarvel.

!!Episode #16 "The Man Who Stole Tomorrow"
Kang The Conqueror tries to kill Captain America, convinced that it is he who somehow will destroy Earth's future. The Avengers only manage to defeat his superior technology when Iron Man figures how to hack into it.

'''Notes:'''
* Part one of a three-part story.
* Cap's role in the destruction of Earth is explained in "Operation: Galactic Storm".

!!Episode #17: "Come the Conqueror"
Kang Invades The Earth in order to save it. The Avengers manage to Save New York city from his armies, but the rest of the World is being attacked as well.

'''Notes:'''

!!Episode #18: "The Kang Dinasty"
The Avengers locate Damocles, Kang's battleship, and invade it, finally managing to overcome him, though they keep him in the present as returning him and his minions to the future would kill his wife, Ravonna.

'''Notes:'''
* Part three of a three-part story.

!!Episode #19 "Widow's Sting"
Hawkeye finally catches up to the SHIELD traitor, BlackWidow, with help from Captain America, Black Panther and SHIELD Agent turned hero Mockingbird. She escapes along Baron Strucker in the end, but secretly helps save Hawkeye's life.

'''Notes:'''
* DisneyXD aired this episode in between "459" and "The Man Who Stole Tomorrow."

!!Episode #20: "The Casket of Ancient Winters"
When the dark elf Malekith unleashes the titular casket to cause a cycle of neverending winter for Midgard, the Avengers move in to stop the villain from putting Earth on ice.

'''Notes:'''

* This is based on a Thor comic book story where the Avengers barely had a cameo.

!!Episode #21: "Hail HYDRA"

'''Notes:'''

!!Episode #22: "Ultron-5"
Ultron wants to bring peace on Earth, even if it means the total destruction of humanity.

'''Notes:'''
* Frustrated by his failure with Ultron, Ant-Man quits being a hero.

!!Episode #23: "The Ultron Imperative"
Having downloaded its mind into a new robot body, Ultron takes control of Earth's nuclear weapons and tries to exterminate all life.

* More Thor characters appear, including The Valkyrie and Faredei the Light Elf.

!!Episode #26: "A Day Unlike Any Other"

[[spoiler:However, a mysterious assailant eliminates Captain America back at Avengers Mansion, and takes his place...]]

'''Notes:'''
* Part three of a three-part story.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Season Two]]
!!Episode #1: "The Private War of Doctor Doom"
Taking place after the events of the Season 1 finale, The Avengers and the Fantastic Four are attacked by Doctor Doom's Doombots, who kidnap the Wasp and Invisible Woman during the ensuing battle. After an attempted rescue of the two female heroines, the Avengers and Fantastic Four prove no match for Doctor Doom, who then tells them to leave Latveria at once. At the end of the episode, we learn the purpose of Doom's seemingly random plot: [[spoiler:to find out that Invisible Woman is a Skrull]].

'''Notes:'''
* The episode introduces Doctor Doom and gives us a substantial appearance for the Fantastic Four, who appeared in brief cameos last season.

!!Episode #2: "Alone Against AIM"
AIM hatches a plot to steal Stark Industries technology while Tony Stark has a back-and-forth talk with interim SHIELD Director Maria Hill (Nick Fury is gone AWOL) about the idea of registering heroes. When the monstrous Technovore is unleashed to destroy all of Stark's technology, it's up to Black Panther, Captain America, and War Machine to help fight off the AIM threat.

'''Notes:'''
* This episode introduces the War Machine armor, subsequently worn by James Rhodes, Tony's military friend.
* Tony is seen building an energy-based version of Captain America's shield, which Cap eventually gets to use.

!!Episode #3: "Acts of Vengeance"
When a vengeful Enchantress goes after Baron Zemo and the Masters of Evil, the villainous group turn to the Avengers for some unexpected help. Meanwhile, Thor and his Asgardian comrades discover that the seal to Surtur's prison has been broken. Back on Earth, the Masters of Evil and the Avengers manage to send Enchantress back to Asgard. However, she's now been enslaved by the escaped Surtur.

'''Notes:'''
* The episode's title is taken from a 1989 crossover of the same name, where several major Marvel villains come up with a plot to win by switching the heroes they come after.

!!Episode #4: Welcome to the Kree Empire
Earth comes under attack by a Kree warship led by Ronan the Accuser, who's come to judge Earth and see if it's fit to be a part of the Kree Empire. SWORD, an organization formed to protect the world from aliens assist the Avengers in fighting Ronan and his forces. An empowered Carol Danvers, now working as MsMarvel, also comes to help against Ronan and even manages to defeat him. Once the battle ends, she's welcomed into the Avengers and CaptainMarVell ends up in the Negative Zone prison 42.

'''Notes:'''
* Ms. Marvel, who previously appeared last season, makes her debut as a superhero in this episode.
* Agent Brand, Leader of S.W.O.R.D., is half-alien herself (thus the green hair and powers.)

!!Episode #5: "To Steal An Ant-Man"
A crook has stolen Hank Pym's Ant-Man suit to commit robberies, causing Pym to recruit the Heroes for Hire to help in getting it back. However, he soon learns that the crook may not be as bad of a guy as first thought. As it turns out, he's a man by the name of Scott Lang, who only got into crime to help for his daughter. Once matters are settled, the heroes go after the crime lord William Cross, who's holding Scott's daughter hostage, and manage to rescue her and defeat Cross and his goon squad.

'''Notes:'''
* guest stars Luke Cage (who doesn't like being called Power Man) and Iron Fist.
* Scott becomes the new Ant-Man.

!!Episode #6: "Micheal Korvac"
The Avengers try to help protect Korvac, a man kidnapped by aliens for experimentation, from an alien group of superbeings. It turns out however, that they are space heroes -The GuardiansOfTheGalaxy- and that Korvac is dangerously unstable- and powerful!

'''Notes:'''
* Based on "The Korvac Saga" storyline, though simplified- Korvac here was a normal man rather than a cyborg from the future, and is insane rather than planning to save the universe his own way.
* The Guardians of the Galaxy used here are the modern version rather than the original ones (from the future.)

!!Episode #7: "Who Do You Trust?"
Nick Fury reappears after a long absence and tells Iron Man that the Skrulls have begun their infiltration, revealing that there's a Skrull embedded within the Avengers. The growing paranoia of who's the Skrull spy inside the Avengers tears the team apart and [[spoiler:Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, & Black Panther]] quit the team as a result. Meanwhile, [[spoiler: the Captain America Skrull]] contacts his Queen, who's disguised herself as [[spoiler:Mockingbird]].

'''Notes:'''
* Based on the SecretInvasion crossover.
* In the comics, Veranke was impersonating SpiderWoman.

!!Episode #8: "The Ballad of Beta Ray Bill"
Investigating where Surtur is has gone, Thor finds an alien spaceship and is attacked by its guardian, Beta Ray Bill, who turns out to be able to life his hammer! It turns out Surtur's demons destroyed their world and Bill mistook Thor for one of them. Instead of giving Bill Thor's hammer, Odin has the Dwarf King make him a new one. Together, Bill, Thor and Lady Sif defeat The Enchantress and her demons.

'''Notes:'''
* Thor finds out that Enchantress is not serving Surtur of her own free will.
* This is based on a storyline from the Thor comics where none of the Avengers except him where involved.

!!Episode #9: "Nightmare in Red"
A red-skinned Hulk attacks the SHIELD Helicarrier, and it's up to the Wasp and Captain America to subdue the bogus Hulk. Elsewhere, Hawkeye and Bruce Banner have their own problems when the Falcon attacks them at the Avengers Mansion. Eventually, the Hulk confronts the Red Hulk and manages to have him on the ropes before a mysterious man [[spoiler:actually U.S. Secretary of Defense Dell Rusk]] calls him away. Captain America then has the Hulk revert back to Bruce Banner, allowing the Hulkbuster unit to apprehend him. [[spoiler: As it turns out, this was part of the faux Cap's plan to weaken the Avengers against the oncoming Skrull invasion.]]

'''Notes:'''

!!Episode #10: "Prisoner of War"
The real Captain America has been a Skrull prisoner for months now, but he refuses to break before his alien captors. He enlists the help of his fellow prisoners, who've been also replaced by Skrulls and some of whom are enemies, to stage an escape from their present accommodations. In the midst of the humans' breakout, the Skrull Queen and Skrull!Cap plot their next move to conquer Earth.

'''Notes:'''

!!Episode #11: "Infiltration"
Skrulls pretending to be Avengers trick MsMarvel into attacking Wakanda. Meanwhile Doctor Doom helps Tony devise a way to identify the skrull impostors, but he (and Nick Fury) are taken down by Veranke before they can help.

'''Notes:'''
* The first part of the two-part finale of the Skrull Invasion arc.

!!Episode #12: "Secret Invasion"
The Skrull invasion reaches its apex when the would-be conquerors decide to use the world's trust in Captain America in order to convince Earth to surrender to them. Elsewhere, Iron Man is dying when his Arc Reactor is compromised, forcing Maria Hill and Nick Fury to work fast in order to save Iron Man. In Washington DC, the Skrulls capture Wasp, Hawkeye, and Ms. Marvel and are about to permanently deal with them, but they're saved by the arrival of the real Captain America and the other humans who escaped from the Skrulls. Thor returns to Earth in time to help the heroes fight the super-powered Skrulls, and eventually the day is won and the invasion is repelled.

'''Notes:'''
* Concludes the Skrull Arc.
* Adapted from the crossover of the same title- with some big differences (most notably, the Wasp does NOT die.)

!!Episode #13: "Along Came A Spider"
In the aftermath of Skrull invasion, Captain America's reputation has taken a major blow, but he refuses to let it get to him. In spite of the public's anti-Cap sentiments, the Star-Spangled Avenger teams up with Spider-Man to deal with the Serpent Society's attempts to rescue Viper and Cobra from captivity. In the end, the Serpents manage to escape, but Cap and Spider-Man manage to save some civilians caught in the fray, restoring Cap's good name with the public.

'''Notes:'''
* This episode marks the debut of Spider-Man in ''Earth's Mightiest Heroes''.
* With Cap's shield still broken, we see him using a replica of the classic scalloped shield that he possibly used in his early days as a superhero. Comic fans know this as Cap's original shield, while fans of the [[CaptainAmericaTheFirstAvenger movie]] will recognize it as his USO War Bonds shield.

!!Episode #14 "Behold... The Vision"
Thor, Captain America, and Hawkeye are in Wakanda to finally repair Cap's broken shield with the help of Black Panther. They soon come under attack from an android named "Vision", who's come to steal the shield for unknown reasons. In the ensuing battle, Cap's Mighty Shield is restored, and Vision retreats back to his master [[spoiler: Ultron]], who's ready to enact his plan to destroy the Avengers.

'''Notes:'''
* In the comics, The Vision was created from the body of Marvel's first android superhero, The Human Torch (no, not [[FantasticFour that one]]) and had the name and similar powers and appearance of another early Marvel hero.

!!Episode #15: "Powerless"
Enchantress grants Loki a chance to get revenge on the Avengers for foiling his plot to take over the Nine Realms by using a spell to remove Captain America, Iron Man[[hottip:*:He's not superpowered, but he loses his technological genius and his armor is reverted back to the Mark I armor.]], and Thor's powers. Without the powers that make them mighty heroes, the three Avengers take on Loki and the mythical Destroyer armor with nothing more than their courage and undying spirit (and Hawkeye's help.)

'''Notes:'''
* This episode is largely based on the [[Film/{{Thor}} Thor movie.]]
* Thor breaking his leg (and having to use a cane) is a reference to his old secret identity in the comics, the lame Dr. Donald Blake. Similarly, Thor's "normal-human look" in this episode seems based on his other secret identity, construction worker Sigurd Jarlson.

!!Episode #16: "Assault on 42"
The Negative Zone Prison 42 has come under attack by Annihilus and his creatures. This forces Captain America, Ms. Marvel, Wasp, and Thor to team up with the prisoners of 42 (including Captain Marvel) to fend off the Annihilation Wave.

'''Notes:'''
* DisneyXD will not air this episode in between "Behold...The Vision!" and "Assault on 42," but until they show it, it will appear as a bonus feature on Disney's fifth DVD.

!!Episode #17: "Ultron Unlimited"
The robotic Ultron returns with a insidious plan to capture and replace the Avengers with synthezoid duplicates to further his goal of replacing everyone on Earth with synthezoids. With nearly all the team apprehended by the "Robo-vengers", Captain America fights alone to save his friends from Ultron's ultimate plot. Cap's courage is enough to cause the Vision to have a change of heart and help destroy Ultron once and for all.

'''Notes:'''
* In the comics, the reason Vision developed human emotions was because he was programmed with Wonder Man's brain engrams.
* He also later marries long-time avenger The Scarlet Witch (who has yet to appear in this series.) They also had children together, although how is a convoluted and tragic story (see YoungAvengers for details.)
* Jocasta cameos as a as a chassis designed by Ultron to hold Wasp's brain.

!!Episode #18: "Yellowjacket"
Hank Pym apparently perishes when in an explosion in his lab. At the same time, a new vigilante by the name of "Yellowjacket" surfaces and plans to deal with the Serpent Society in his own, seemingly lethal way. [[spoiler: It turns out they are the same person; Hank is suffering from a split personality.]]

'''Notes:'''
* The episode features the animation debut of Yellowjacket.

!!Episode #19: "Emperor Stark"
A worse-for-wear Vision awakens after a month of self-repairs, and discovers that the Avengers have brought the world under their control, with Tony Stark as its fearless leader. Working fast to find out the truth of this plot, Vision manages to restore Captain America back to normal and the two soon learn that the Purple Man, a villain with mind controlling abilities, is the man responsible for this kooky plot. With the villain revealed, Vision and Cap restore the other Avengers back to normal and then deal with Purple Man soon after.

'''Notes:'''
* In the comics, Purple Man's powers are based on pheromones, not energy, so this plan (using a satellite) would not work.
* This story may be based on the novel, Emperor Doom, in which Doctor Doom used Purple Man to rule the World, but was defeated by The Avengers.

!!Episode #20: "Code Red"
A mysterious red mist afflicts all of the Avengers save for Iron Man, protected by his armor's air filtration. The mist sickens its victims and turns their face into a familiar red visage. Secretary of Defense Dell Rusk sends his team comprised of Falcon, Red Hulk, Doc Samson, and the Winter Soldier to have the Avengers quarantined, but as Captain America soon finds out, there's more to Dell Rusk than meets the eye. [[spoiler:Rusk is actually the Red Skull, who's infiltrated the US Government.]] When Rusk has Cap brought to him, Winter Soldier turns against his benefactor and helps cure Cap, who then beats Rusk and ends his charade.

'''Notes:'''
* The heroes Rusk used were under some kind of mind control.
* 'Dell Rusk' is an anagram of his real name.

!!Episode #21: "Winter Soldier"
Now out of the control of Red Skull, the Winter Soldier discovers a new plot by the Skull involving giant robots called "Sleepers", which the war criminal seeks to use to destroy the world. On top of this, Captain America is on the trail of Winter Soldier, believing him to be someone very familiar to him, and soon teams up with the bionic-armed operative to stop Red Skull and his Sleepers.

'''Notes:'''
* In the comics, The Sleepers had been waiting for activation since the fall of the Nazis.
* Winter Soldier being [[spoiler:Bucky]] was a great controversy in the comics, as this was the one character who was assumed to never be revived by Marvel. He later turned into a fan favorite though.

!!Episode #22: "The Deadliest Man Alive"
The Hulk seems to go on an unprovoked rampage, and the Red Hulk helps The Avengers recapture him. He later ends up joining the team. But Captain America suspects foul play, and investigates.[[spoiler:Of course, the Hulk was framed.]]

'''Notes:'''
* The Red Hulk turns out to be [[spoiler:Gen. Ross himself]].

!!Episode #23: "The New Avengers"
Kang the Conqueror returns to conquer the world once more, trapping the Avengers in a temporal state. Without the Avengers to stop him, Kang may very well have won this time. Or has he? '''Notes:'''

!!Episode #24: "Operation: Galactic Storm"
The Kree are back, trying to rescue Ronan and destroy earth's sun with a space warp. With Captain Marvel's help, The Avengers prevent the latter (but not the former) thought they find themselves stranded in Kree space afterwards.

'''Notes:'''
* The title of this episode comes from the Avengers crossover that involved the Kree/Sh'iaR WAR.
* It was apparently going to be Captain America's decision [[spoiler:to not let Black Panther die]] this episode that would have caused the timeline's destruction (but he ends up not taking it, precisely because of Kang's warning.)

!!Episode #25: "Live Kree or Die!"
The Avengers find themselves on Hala, the Kree homeworld. Half of them are captured by the Supreme Intelligence, a living computer that rules the Kree, for experiments, but the other half, with help from [[spoiler:the not-so-dead Black Panther]] manage to free the empire from it; Mar-Vell stays there to help his people find a better way to live.

'''Notes:'''
* continues from episode 24.
* In the comics, The avengers killed the Supremor, a highly controversial act; here they [[spoiler:merely render it catatonic.]]

!!Episode #26: Avengers Assemble!
{{Galactus}} and his heralds come to Earth to devour it, and The Avengers call on ALL of the heroes seen during the show to help stop them.

'''Notes:'''
* This is alternate version of "The Coming of Galactus". The Fantastic Four are included, but not the SilverSurfer.
* The Heralds of Galactus are: The Air-Walker, Firelord, Stardust, and Terrax.
* This may have been intended as the SeriesFinale.

With his help The Avengers prevent this, then he leaves Earth to try to convince his people not to invade Earth.

* This is based on a Thor comic book story where the Avengers barely had a cameo.

'''Notes:'''
* Part three of a three-part story.

* Concludes the Skrull Arc.

Or has he? Iron Man manages to enact the "New Avengers" protocols to recruit {{Wolverine}}, SpiderMan, LukeCage, IronFist, War Machine, and [[FantasticFour The Thing]] to stop Kang from taking over.

* continues from episode 24.
* In the comics, The avengers killed the Supremor, a highly controversial act; here they [[spoiler:merely render it catatonic.]]

!!Episode #26: Avengers Assemble!
