Stan finally meets up with Oleg, and while he apologizes for the CIA's attempts to blackmail Oleg, Stan warns him not to get involved in anything spy-related. Stan and Aderholt also become worried about Gennadi and Sofia, especially when she reveals she's involved with one of her co-workers at TASS, and has told him about what she's up to. Deciding to be on the safe side, Aderholt has the FBI offer Gennadi and Sofia asylum (along with their son), which they reluctantly accept (in Gennadi's case, as long as Stan helps him and Sofia get back together again).

Elsewhere, Philip struggles to try and pay for Henry's tuition, and he and Elizabeth argue about the Soviet Union.
