Taking heavy fire from Republic LAAT gunships, Lazarus desperately deploys a vortex grenade which forces the gunships to fall back. However, the clone troopers who were fighting against the Colambians on the ground get corrupted by Chaos after staring directly into the vortex grenade's blast and proceed to don jet packs. While Lazarus and his men no longer have to worry about the gunships, they now have to deal with a bunch of flying AxCrazy clone berserkers empowered by Chaos. It's only thanks to a last-minute rescue by the Tempestus Scions that Lazarus survives this.
