* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Randy seemingly becomes a PapaWolf and offers to go into the dream and save Stan and the others... but the moment he goes in, he immediately starts acting lackadaisical and carefree as a butterfly. When Stan asks for his help, he ''outright refuses'' and spends the episode laughing and dicking around as a butterfly. It's enough to make one wonder if Stan's hoarding wasn't triggered by the stress from his utter jackassery.

** One would think they'd talk about Stan's parents being completely inattentive towards his problems (even in the dream, Randy acts carefree as a butterfly and outright ''rejects'' helping him when he asks) as a possible reason for his hoarding... but it never comes up.

-->'''Sharon:''' Just because an idea is over convoluted and complex doesn't make it cool. Going into multiple dream levels sounds like a really stupid idea.

Until he just snaps and refuses to throw any of it away, proving he has a problem.

** We learn Mackey was molested by the guy dressed as Woodsy Owl, whose slogan was "give a hoot, don't pollute." He repressed the whole event, but any time he had the opportunity to throw something away, he'd subconsciously remember Woody's slogan and the trauma he endured. He thus felt safest by not throwing anything away.
** Stan suspects he has a deep-rooted, psychological reason for his hoarding. However, after seeing what Mackey has gone through, he's content to not bother finding out any details. [[AmbiguousEnding Though maybe he got his therapy for it anyway.]]
