Ash and co. have once again run into the Sunglasses Krokorok, who has still been following them since its last appearance and is still itching to battle Pikachu. Ash gladly accepts, but during the battle, the explosion from the collision of attacks sends both Pikachu and Krokorok flying off in opposite directions, with Pikachu crash-landing onto a little boy named Mick who wants its help in showing his friends that he can participate in Pokémon battles. Ash finds Krokorok first and then they find Mick and Pikachu, with Ash agreeing to let Mick borrow Pikachu for a practice battle.
