Naga sends one of his strongest underlings to attack the heroes--the genie Monster named Bajarl. While he looks harmless at first, Bajarl is very dangerous, and he soon captures everyone but Holly and Mocchi with his magic jar.
Running into a deserted town, Holly finds that the mayor had rigged explosives as a trap for Bajarl. Even when it was unable to be used before everyone was gone, he hid them away along with a diary and map, with his last wish being someone find it and use it. With Mocchi running interference and Tiger freezing Bajarl from inside the jar, Holly lights the explosives and frees her friends as the town and Bajarl blow up.
