In the aftermath of the duel, Vim Jeturk's associates mock his son's loss and drop in status, expressing concerns over the company's future. Attending class, Miorine changes Suletta's uniform colour to that of the school's Holder before she is swarmed by gossips asking about Guel's proposal. The former-Holder himself then appears, apologizing to Miorine as agreed. Despite his sudden proposal, he awkwardly insists that he does not actually like Suletta before taking his leave. Later that day, a mobile suit examination takes place, in which students must work as a team to use a radar to track for mines in the drill fields before completing a shooting challenge. Suletta is instantly failed due to lacking any support staff. Chuchu, taking the exam with support from Earth House, is likewise failed after black paint appears over her camera, causing her to fall into a valley and step on a mine. This "prank" was carried out by two bullies who make snide remarks against Earthians while witnessing the spectacle.

Searching for supporters, Suletta encounters Nika and two of her dorm mates, asking for their help with her make-up exam. Nika regretfully declines as she has to aid Chuchu with her make-up exam, but offers to introduce Suletta to the rest of Earth House who may be free to help. Taking her to Earth House, one of the boys, Till, agrees to serve as Suletta's spotter. However, Chuchu arrives and scares Suletta off, furious at having a "Spacian" in their Dormitory.

Overhearing Suletta and Miorine's exchange, Chuchu grows sympathetic, recognizing similarities between her and Suletta's circumstances. Having observed the bullies mocking her throughout the examination, Chuchu leaves her Demi-Trainer, immediately knocking one of the girls out with a punch to the face, condemning the other for interfering when they don't have anyone depending on them. The altercation quickly draws the attention of the rest of the make-up group, with Suletta taking a punch from the conscious bully when she tries to break up the fight. Taking the opening, Chuchu knocks her out too.

The onlookers look on in awe over Suletta's victory over Guel, but the little redhead runs off, rejecting Guel's proposal to everyone's shock and Chuchu's disgust while Vim Jeturk receives mockery over his son losing to Suletta a second time to his anger.

Miorine suddenly barges in, claiming Elan's house was among her enemies, before helping her learn the basics of Mobile Suit operation.

Night falls and three Earth house dorm mates discuss over an Earthian protest and discuss Spacian capitalism while Chuchu gains much-needed support from other Earthians while Suletta reveals to Miorine over her desire to study at a school. Meeting with Chuchu again, Miorine calls Chuchu out for discriminating against Spacians who have not done anything to her.

The makeup examination begins and Suletta boards her Demi Trainer, but due to her screen going black, she ends up failing multiple times, leaving her utterly discouraged to the point of crying. The same two girls who were responsible for the screen blacking out with their spray mock Suletta's plight, calling her a "country-bumpkin", but Chuchu, having heard Suletta's wishes and grown sick of the bullies' antics, rushes up to them and socks one of them in the face, the physical assault quickly escalating into a brawl. Suletta and Nika try to break up the fight, during which Suletta gets punched, though it allows Chuchu to knock the other girl's lights out.

As the day ends, Suletta and Chuchu reveal they were to partake in another makeup examination, to the latter's annoyance, although Nika overall feels the situation was satisfying. Nika offers to let Suletta join their house, which she accepts. Chuchu reluctantly accepts Suletta, stating to their new member that she's her senior.
