Liu Mei explains that she wants to test Celestial Being and has her servant Nena Trinity warn Celestial Being about the attack. The Zinin squad attacks Ptolemy, although Louise is put on standby due to orders from the brass. Sumeragi, Setsuna, and Lockon see the battle while heading towards Ptolemy on a shuttlecraft. Sumeragi sends Ptolemy a tactical forecast which entails using chaff mines to disrupt the A-Laws's sensors, allowing Tieria to stand a better chance despite being outnumbered.
Setsuna's shuttle docks with Ptolemy. Setsuna boards the 00 Gundam and, against Ian's warnings, activates Trans-Am, which jumpstarts the twin drive system. Setsuna launches and uses the twin drive to use GN particles to block his enemies' beam attacks. Setsuna wipes the floor with the Zinin team, forcing the A-Laws to retreat. Regene realizes that Ribbons doesn't know what the 00 Gundam is, despite having full access to Veda.
Setsuna, Sumeragi, and Lockon greet the Ptolemy crew. Tieria and Feldt are especially shocked to see Lockon and have to remind themselves that he is not Neil. Meanwhile, Marina is placed in the same prison as Allelujah.

Three months ago, the Ptolemy crew tested the 00 Gundam's twin drive system, but were unable to get it to work because the GN drives they used were incompatible. Their only hope is to recover Exia's GN drive, the only one they haven't tested.
As a gesture of trust, Setsuna gives Lyle information on Celestial Being's operations and a warning that the A-Laws are going to raid Katharon's European base.

Tieria is determined to get the twin drive system working because the data Ptolmey received along with the Trans-Am system indicates that the twin drive system is vital to the Aeolia plan.
Lasse and Milleina deliver a meal to Saji along with a Red Haro to see to his needs and give him access to Ptolemy's database. Saji asks Lasse if Celestial Being is going to continue its interventions. Lasse explains that Celestial Being is going to wipe out the A-Laws, who have committed fourteen acts of mass murder in the name of supressing dissidents. Afer Lasse and Milleina leave, Saji checks out Ptolemy's database and learns that the Ptolemy Meisters weren't responsible for the attack of the Halevy family.
After confirming that the raid of the European base did happen as Setsuna predicted, Lyle decides to join Celestial Being as a Katharon spy.

He tells Billy that Kujo is actually Celestial Being's tactical forecaster Sumeragi Lee Noriega, so she'll have no place to run away to.
