That's not a continuity nod

Added DiffLines:

* BoomerangComeback: Averted several times, but it's a close call. Considering a single hit from the Collector's {{Precision Guided Boo|merang}}k is an instant loss, both Ladybug and Cat Noir are very wary of not getting caught from behind by the book on its return path.

Added DiffLines:

* TantrumThrowing: InvokedTrope by Gabriel Agreste. He does trash his office, throwing down paintings and sculptures around, but if he ''is'' furious toward Adrien for stealing his spellbook, the real reason is to make it look more believable to Ladybug and Cat Noir that he was overrun by negative emotions and thus akumatized.

* KarmaHoudini: Even though she doesn't appear in this episode, Lila is one. Adrien is pulled out of school because Lila stole his father's book in "Volpina". Marinette knows the truth, but at the end of the episode, she returns Gabriel's book for him while taking the fall for the book being taken from Adrien. Even worse, it wouldn't have cost her anything if she said that she saw Lila steal the book from Adrien and throw it away, and that she rescued the book and spent time cleaning it up before getting it safely back to Gabriel... Because Marinette doesn't mention Lila, Lila gets away with what she did.
