Meanwhile, Dan helps Chloe (pretend to) reconcile with the rest of the police over Malcolm during his memorial. Chloe says she's closing the case, but really, she's going to pursue it off the record. Malcolm's life support is cut, but Amenadiel isn't finished scheming yet, and brings him back to life. Back at Lux, Maze tells Lucifer she's in it for the long haul, but it doesn't stop her from looking mournfully at [[ChekovsGun a single feather]]...

As it turns out, Amenadiel gave Carmen a tip. He's naturally unhappy with being stuck with the worse job in the universe, so he wants his baby bro to do it. [[SarcasmMode What a nice brother!]] Lucifer isn't having it, and uses his cigarette to set his wings aflame. "In case I haven't made myself abundantly clear, I'm never going back to Hell." Cue the beginning of a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown from Amenadiel, who only stops when Lucifer starts taunting him, encouraging him to "Become Wrath. Fall as I did!"

Amenadiel is less than pleased to find out that a physical piece of divinity is out among the humans, but refuses to help his irresponsible little brother who left Amenadiel in charge of the mess he left behind. Back to Chloe! She's not happy Lucifer ditched her, but agrees to help him, since he'll help her. Oh, and Dan's coming, too. The three replay Palmetto, and the [=APB=] Chloe put out leads Lucifer (and Amenadiel, who's decided to help his little bro out after all) to an auction that specializes in illicit religious artifacts.
