Character reactions (and "character loses to stronger character" examples) don't qualify for this trope anymore.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** No one is happy to see Bishop again, after the events of the previous season. The confessions he made to the Legends, plus the fact that he caused their time machine to crash, did not exactly help his standing either.
** While undercover, the women face all sorts of sexism and racism at the factory. Ava and Sara watch a woman get sexually harassed, Ava is accused of stealing in a threatening manner, Gideon is talked down and dismissed constantly and Astra and Spooner are banished to janitorial duty because of their race.
** Astra takes over the factory after accidentally freezing the boss, Mr. Staples. While pretending to give out orders on his behalf, she implements integration of the workplace so that the female workers of colors can work alongside the men and the Rosies. This leads to the white female workers to quit.
** Bishop is no fighter. So, when he holds off Rogue Gideon's army so that the Legends can escape, he is overpowered and killed instantly.

* BothSidesHaveAPoint: The forewoman of the janitors agrees with Astra that changes are needed in how women, and espeically women of color, are treated, but she also points out that forcing such changes onto people as rapidly as Astra did will only be met with resistance, and probably not last long. To make a lasting change, slow and steady is the best process.

* UnfortunateImplications: On a meta level. Like many episodes this season, one of the central themes is that racism is bad and that people of color deserve to be recognized just like Caucasians. However, the white woman who causes a walkout after Astra takes over is given a name (Abby), while the forewoman who helps guide Astra and arguably is more important to the episode as a whole is simply listed as "Female Worker" in the credits.

* StatingTheSimpleSolution: Bishop realizes the problem of the Legends popping up in seemingly random events of time: their time machine doesn't have navigation. He also fixes the problem by creating a helmet interface that allows Human Gideon to fulfill the same purpose that she had back when she was still a time ship.

The Legends land in 1943. Bishop crashing into the time machine necessitates more repairs, so the Legends have to resort to getting work as "Rosies" at an airplane factory to make the replacement parts.
