Aqua reaches the [[WesternAnimation/SleepingBeauty Enchanted Dominion]], where she finds an ominous castle. As she approaches, she witnesses a glowing ball of light coming out of it. Inside the castle, she finds Ventus confronting the evil fairy Maleficent. She tells Ven that Terra did something horrible, but Aqua insists that he would never do such a thing. Aqua tries to get Ven to return home (despite what she said last time), but he doesn't listen and runs off.
Aqua tries to go after Ven, but she is stopped by Maleficent. She tells Aqua that she knows about the Keyblade, causing her to realize that Maleficent was telling the truth. Maleficent reveals that she knows Xehanort before dropping Aqua into the dungeon. Inside, she meets Prince Philip, who tells her that his love Aurora is stuck an eternal slumber. Only he can break the curse, which is why Maleficent imprisoned him there. The three Good Fairies arrive, and they all decide to go help Aurora. On the way out of Maleficent's castle, her raven Diablo alerts the guards, forcing them to fight their way out.
