Having discovered that Kamen Rider Spectre is his childhood friend Makoto, who had disappeared along with his sister 10 years ago, Takeru questions what happened to him. Likewise, Makoto questions whether or not Takeru knew what his father had been studying in the past. The mystery of 10 years ago lingers over the two Kamen Riders.
Takeru decides to ask the Sage if he knew anything about his father’s studies. As usual, the Sage doesn’t give him any answers. He does offer a hint towards the next Hero though, “He made a vow to collect over a thousand weapons.” However, an anonymous request to investigate the supernatural phenomena at a laboratory may prove fruitful in Takeru’s search for answers.
The laboratory in question belonged to Professor Igarashi, a leading authority in physics who disappeared 10 years ago. It turns out that he was an acquaintance of Takeru’s father, Ryu. Among Ryu’s personal belongings, they discover a photograph of Igarashi with Ryu and Saionji! If Takeru can discover what happened to Professor Igarashi, maybe he’ll be closer to understanding what happened to Makoto.
Meanwhile, a new companion of Alan’s makes his appearance. In addition, Saionji moves onto the next phase of his plan.
