* CalvinBall: The titular Chardee [=MacDennis=] is a truly biazarre game that the gang made up several years ago when they were bored. It's ostensibly based on several other board games, but the rule book is bigger than most phonebooks and even the gang don't seem to fully understand them. The game has three levels (mind, body and spirit), the challenges range from answering "trivia questions" that are really just opinions to having darts thrown at your hand, and the prize for winning is getting to smash your opponents' game pieces.

On a rainy day, the gang decides to play a board game that brings out the worst in them (though for all of them, it's a short trip).

On a rainy day, ->''"Gentlemen... suck my dick."''

When
the gang decides find themselves with nothing to play do for the day, Dennis and Dee face off against Charlie, Mac and Frank for a board round of "Chardee [=MacDennis=]": a twisted game of wit, physical endurance and copious amounts of booze.
----

!This episode provides examples of the following tropes:

* AnimalMotifs: Dennis and Dee's team name is the Golden Geese. They repeatedly make honking noises every time they score a point.
* {{Anticlimax}}: When the timer runs out before the game has ended, something that the gang admit has never happened before. They're forced to draw the "black card", which they don't remember writing, and brace themselves for some dark shit... only to find out that the game is to be resolved by flipping a coin.
-->'''Dee:''' Flip a goddamn coin, that's what we came up with? That's lame as shit.
* BadassBoast:
-->'''Dee:''' I'm gonna slit throats.
* BottleEpisode: The entire episode takes place in the bar and features no additional characters outside of the gang.
* ButtMonkey: Mac and Charlie have apparently never won a single game of Chardee [=MacDennis=]. Even when it all comes down to a coin flip and they have a fifty-fifty chance, they ''still'' end up losing.
* CalvinBall: The titular Chardee [=MacDennis=] is a truly biazarre
game that brings the gang made up several years ago when they were bored.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Charlie would have won the "grape gobble" challenge if not for the fact that he fails to realize he's not supposed to actually ''eat'' the grapes, as there's no way of counting them.
* CoolAndUnusualPunishment: Frank is made to get inside a ''dog kennel'' when he draws the "go to jail" card, and the only way for him to get
out is to eat the worst separate ingredients of a cake.
* DrinkingGame: Chardee [=MacDennis=] is this at its heart, as the gang freely admit.
-->'''Frank:''' You get to drink during the game?
-->'''Dee:''' Uh, drinking ''is'' the game, Frank. It's the whole point of it.
* GoshDangItToHeck: The gang start doing this when they advance to Level 3, as one of the rules is that they're not allowed to curse.
-->'''Dennis:''' Fudge on crackers, alright? Mister-falconing sons of birds!
* HeadsOrTails: The ultimate outcome of the game comes down to a coin flip.
* ImpaledPalm: Frank throws a dart clean through the center of Dennis's palm during the physical endurance round.
* ImprovisedWeapon: Dee picks up her wine glass
in them (though readiness to use it as a weapon when the black card is drawn.
* IncestSubtext: Dennis and Dee's team photo consists of their faces photoshopped onto the hero and heroine from a trashy romance novel cover.
* LIsForDyslexia: Mac is instantly able to tell when the card he draws was written by Charlie, thanks to the latter's unique grasp of the English language.
-->'''Mac:''' Question: "Dennis is asshole. Why Charlie hate?"
-->'''Charlie:''' ...I don't think I wrote that.
-->'''Mac:''' You ''definitely'' wrote this one, Charlie. Who ''else'' would have written this?!
* LoopholeAbuse: Frank realizes that Dennis and Dee have been cheating by drinking water when Dennis throws his "beer" in his face, and invokes an obscure rule that none of the gang remember writing in order to expose them.
* MrExposition: Mac's usual role as such is lampshaded at the beginning of the episode when the rest of the gang are waiting
for him to "come in hot with the news". He's also the one who ends up doing most of the explaining of the game's rules to Frank and the audience.
-->'''Charlie:''' I've never really understood it, but the point is, if Mac's telling you what to do, listen.
* NervesOfSteel: Dennis doesn't so much as flinch when the others are throwing darts at his hand, not even when Frank succeeds in actually ''hitting'' him.
* NotCheatingUnlessYouGetCaught: Charlie explains that cheating is tolerated and even encouraged within the game, but if you get caught at it then your opponents automatically advance to the next level.
* PlayingDrunk: It's eventually revealed that Dennis and Dee have been secretly been drinking water the entire time, and only ''acting'' drunk to avoid raising suspicion.
* PlayingPictionary: One of the challenges involves one member of each team drawing a picture on their teammate's back, while the teammate tries to guess what it is from the "feel".
* {{Portmanteau}}: The gang apparently couldn't decide on what to call the game, so they eventually just went with a mash-up of
all their names and thus Chardee [=MacDennis=] was born.
* RageQuit: Dennis explains at the beginning
of them, it's the episode that they always have to nail the board down because at some point Mac will inevitably get angry that he's losing and attempt to flip it. Mac cheerfully agrees that this is for the best, and sure enough, towards the end of the episode he does indeed try to flip the board.
* RealTime: The game has
a short trip).fifteen minute time limit, which just so happens to be roughly the amount of time left in the episode when they start playing.
* StrangeSyntaxSpeaker: Frank briefly does this when he's trying to ask a question without phrasing it like a question, which goes against the game's rules.
-->'''Frank:''' Questions now I ask that clock stopped?
-->'''Dee:''' Okay, just 'cause you jumble up the words doesn't make it not a question.
* TheWatson: Frank fulfils this role as he's never played the game before, giving the gang a convenient reason to explain the rules to both him and the audience.
* YankTheDogsChain: Mac and Charlie are given a brief HopeSpot towards the end when the game goes to a tie-break and they realize they have a fifty percent chance of winning for the first time ever. [[StatusQuoIsGod They still lose.]]
