Sonic accidentally knocked out the world's power briefly, so he needs Mario's help to escape the government. Fortunately (or not), Mario has a plan to save Sonic from death.

* GoneHorriblyRight: Swagmaster was supposed to fall in love with the [[DisguisedInDrag disguised]] [[PaperThinDisguise Sonic]] then Sonic would tell Swag to convince the government to stop hunting him. Because of Eggman's intervention, it ends up leading to Swagmaster realizing that he actually loves Sonic and refuses to kill him because "it's the inside that counts" and decides to make out with Sonic. Hey, at least the government isn't after him anymore!
