** We later discover he has gotten a life sentence (or life squared) and he ''does'' try to wish the kids out of existence. This does make it more understndable at least.
** Then again, his life setencing makes sense. If a couple of 12 year olds trick you out of your time machine, that would make you look ''really'' imcompetant to your peers and superior and considering the nature of the job, a large liability.

* PlaceBeyondTime: Averted. Dipper and Mabel believe that they traveled all the way to the end of time. They didn't. They were inside a Port-A-John.
