Leela decides that if she can't be the best, she'll at least not be the worst.

* BreakingTheGlassCeiling: Leela becomes the first female pitcher in the professional blernsball league - but she's not actually any good at it, having been included because someone thought it would be funny. However, her poor performance has the unexpected effect of encouraging other women to get into the game, because they don't want her to be the last word on women in the sport.

* TookALevelInDumbass: Leela, who is normally super-competent at just about anything you care to mention, not only proves to be a terrible blernsball player, but shows no self-awareness at all regarding her lack of skill until Jackie gives her a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech. Episodes that portray Leela in an excessively negative way generally don't go down well with the fans anyway, so you can probably guess that this is considered one of the show's worst episodes, if not the absolute worst.

Leela is scouted to be the first female blernsball pitcher, but only because her lack of depth perception makes her a terrific novelty. Once she becomes aware that she'll be known as the worst blernsball palyer in history, Leela swears to be slightly better than that.

* EpicFail: In her career, Leela manages to go without getting a single out.

* HopeSpot: Leela trains, and becomes a fractionally better blernsball player... but she still loses her last game and goes down in history as the worst blernsball player of all time.

* AlienLunch: The Cygnoids seem to have no idea of what humans eat, judging from the way they prepare their pizza.
