Someone shoots at Wally Sheridan, a presidential candidate, during his father's funeral. Wally Sheridan survives, but he is badly wounded. Meanwhile, XIII, Jones and Betty Barnowsky are in the jungle in Central America. They try to get back to the U.S. before Mac Call catches them.
