Added DiffLines:

* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: What Brian goes through in this episode is very similar to what happened to Peter in [[Recap/FamilyGuyS13E1TheSimpsonsGuy an earlier episode]]. They post something online that they think is a joke, but people find it offensive, and when they try to defend themselves, [[NotHelpingYourCase they only make it worse]]. It gets to the point where an angry mob is involved and people are attacking their house over the incident, causing the Griffins to fear for their safety. The only difference is that in Peter's case, the entire family left town until the whole thing blew over, while in Brian's case, ''only'' Brian was forced to leave the house.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Brain deletes the tweet and all of his social media accounts. He tries to apologize for it, but the mob isn't having it and keeps cutting him off. After all, in real life, there's several instances where you can't take back something you said. Rather than a scene where he gives a touching speech, likely AnAesop that shames the mob into admitting he has a point, Brian loses his temper and starts reprimanding them, calling them hypocrites who are no better than him and screams "Black Porn" at the top of his lungs in front of women and children, which just makes things worse.
** The backlash from the tweet becomes so bad that the rest of the Griffins, whom Brian thought would support him unconditionally, throw him under the bus and kick him out for their own safety. And since he's the most hated person in Quahog, Brian is forced to move into a shithole apartment on the edge of town.

* NeverMyFault: Brian insists that it was just a bad joke blown out of proportion and goes as far as to shame the angry mob for not accepting that excuse since there are bigger things in the world to be concerned about. However, Lois points out that it was Brian's own fault in the first place because he should have known better than to post something so racist.
