I feel it would still slow them down to some degree, for them, every second counts

** Jeremie references [[Recap/CodeLyokoS1E25 Code Earth]], the program used to make Aelita into a real girl, and that it's no longer required as Franz Hopper gave back her humanity, and therefore, is treated the same as rest of the team.

* PlotHole: The B-plot of Odd wanting to be with the others in the same classroom as otherwise they cannot communicate as effectively is of concern to Jeremie, when it really shouldn't be. They all have mobile phones, something which they've repeatedly used to contact each other to get to the factory, and if anything, spreading people around the classes masks their absences somewhat.

* VocalEvolution: Jeremie sounds ''much'' less nasally here than he did in previous seasons, and seems to have been in response to fans' complaints of finding him too annoying to listen to. He's also a lot more berating than normal when talking to the team on Lyoko too.

* JustFriends: Yumi thinks this should help with hers and Ulrich's GreenEyedMonster dance. However, Ulrich is horrified by the choice (but reluctantly goes along with it) and Yumi herself is implied to not be happy about it either.

to:

* HeroicBSOD: Ulrich has a minor one when Yumi tells him she wants to only be JustFriends and nothing more. He's seen going into facial shock and, as he answers Jeremie's phone call, begins walking backward and collapsing onto a nearby bench. As Jeremie tells him of XANA attacking, Ulrich gives a dazed and automatic "Oh, that's great" before realizing what he's actually saying and snapping out of it.

However, Ulrich is horrified by the choice (but reluctantly goes along with it) and Yumi herself is implied to not be happy about it either.

* DeadpanSnarker: Odd, as usual, though he seems to be using it as a coping mechanism when he's angry at the team for not supporting his {{Blackmail}} idea.

* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: This episode of the show is oddly aware of itself for once, referencing various jokes from prior episodes, the absurd levels of WillTheyOrWontThey between Odd and Ulrich, and is, in general, in a lighter tone than normal.

herb > herve, change my mind. Netlfix uses these names interchangeably, which gets on my nerves.

* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: Odd is going to be separated from the class that Jeremie, Aelita and Odd are in because of Jim. This means that it would make communication harder, teaming up slower, and Odd's grades will slip more than they already have as he cannot copy Jeremie.

* {{Blackmail}}: What Odd resorts to to get to be in class with Jeremie, Aelita, and Ulrich. The rest of his friends do not approve when they hear about it.

to:

* TwoDVisualsThreeDEffects: The show starts using this more, most noticeably on the doors in the anime parts.
* AlphaBitch: A very unusual example, as Odd gets kissed by Sissi on the nose as a way to show that because Sissi and Odd are in the same class, Odd had better watch out when he pulls antics on her.

** Jims' many occupations, now we can add Disco king to the list, appearing in a film about Disco, and Gym Ball instructor. He also had blonde hair when he was younger too. And yes, he still doesn't want to talk about any of it.
** Ulrich mentions the WillTheyOrWontThey that has been pervasive as the side-arc of the first two seasons.

* MomentKiller: Yumi gets interrupted at least three times, trying to tell Ulrich what she has on her mind. It agitates him so much that he pulls Yumi away to the park, bumping Sissi into bumping her tray.

* {{NOT}}: Herve asks Sissi to the movies, and Sissi says that she's going alone instead.
* OhCrap:
** Yumi's little brother Hiroki joins the school, which could cause problems getting to the factory at night.
** Jeremie has one after Aelita is devirtualised, and for about ten seconds, he's in complete shock. However, the scanner starts powering up, and the gang goes to see what's up.

* RunningGag: Two instances:
** Yumi and Ulrich getting interrupted by people when they try to talk privately.
** The return of the "I'd rather not talk about it" joke for Jim, which gets quoted multiple times, and even becomes a PlotDevice, in that Odd plans to {{Blackmail}} Jim in getting into Jeremie, Ulrich and Aelita's class, and if he refuses, he'll show an old film Jim was once in to the film club.
