* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: Darkstar, who helps the team get rid of Kevin's powers, immediately takes them for himself, betraying them. [[DeconstructedTrope However, since he had pretty much betrayed the team every other time]], the team established a failsafe in order to take said power away from him. He gets beaten rather quickly.

** After cloning himself as Echo Echo to fight Kevin, Ben has one of the copies hide in the trunk of his car so that he'll still survive even if Kevin were to destroy the other clones.
** Correctly predicting that Darkstar would try to steal the power for himself after it's drained out of Kevin, Ben secretly instructs Cooper to create a failsafe in the machine so that all the stolen power will return to where it belongs.

Following on with the [[Recap/Ben10UltimateAlienS1E19AbsolutePowerPart1 previous episode]], Ben fights Ultimate Kevin for the last time and Gwen is still working to cure Kevin with the help of Cooper and Darkstar.

* EarnYourHappyEnding: After many hardships, fall outs and failures in the previous episodes, the team finally achieves victory with saving Kevin's life as well as returning the Andromeda Five back to life.
