I removed the “Epic Fail” example. This was about how Archer’s car wasn’t working and he wasn’t sure if the repair was covered because the warranty was in Italian. This trope is when, “a task that should be fairly straightforward and typical for a character goes HORRIBLY wrong in a manner that defies the laws of probability, and occasionally the laws of physics.” As noted, “It's a failure so ludicrously, unexpectedly bizarre that, despite its status as a failure, it manages also to be admirable for its uniqueness and irreproducibility.” A car breaking down is a perfectly mundane thing to go wrong and doesn’t count as going “Horribly” wrong. The warranty being in Italian is an unusual thing to go wrong but hardly defies the law of probability. So I don’t think this really qualifies for this trope.
