* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Anne and her friends manage to stop Sasha and Grime, free King Andrias and give him the Calamity Box. They, all of Amphibia and every other world would have been much safer if they failed.

* NeverMyFault: The only thing King Andrias coldly says after fatally stabbing Marcy is [[WhyDidYouMakeMeHitYou "Now look what]] [[YouHaveFailedMe you've made me do."]]

* WhyDidYouMakeMeHitYou: When Andrias stabs Marcy, he coldly says, "Now, look what you’ve made me do."

* HeroicBSOD: When Sprig is mercilessly thrown out the window by the King, Anne completely loses it, tears falling down her face as she has memories of Sprig flash through her head. This gives her basically a Super Saiyan-esque form and then she proceeds to kick the living crap out of King Andrias. In this state, her hair is completely blue as are her eyes, she appears to be growing plant roots out of her head and generating floating leaves from her hair that dissipate in the wind, as well as an aura exuding from her body. Sadly, it only lasts a short while and her power-up seems to activate out of desperation, and thus Anne has no control over it.

* BuryYourDisabled: Narrowly averted twice.

* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot:
** If Marcy had not let her desperation get the better of her, then Anne would have never stolen the Calamity Box, the whole trip to Amphibia would have never happened, [[JustEatGilligan and therefore the whole show would have never happened]].
** On a more specific note, the entire plot of this episode could have been avoided. Marcy actually knew how to activate the Calamity Box to open a portal home the whole time, as she demonstrates in the climax of the episode, meaning the girls never needed to travel to Newtopia to go home and could have used the box immediately once Sasha charged her stone in "The Third Temple". Andrias' deal with Marcy was more about ensuring she ''wouldn't'' do this, and would instead give him the fully charged Calamity Box, since Andrias needed the girls to willingly charge the box, but not drain said charge by using it to get home.
** Andrias wouldn't be able to begin his conquest if Anne had been willing to hear Sasha out.

* ThisCannotBe: When Anne unlocks the full power of her Calamity Gem, Andrias is in disbelief that she still has a connection to it after charging it in the temple, unaware that she didn't finish the job.
