* It's through this meeting in Berlin that Vahlen finally meets General Heinz Böhm, another enemy of Lt. Karl Fairburne, in person. During 1943, Vahlen's own son, Lt. Ernst Vahlen, was one of Bohm's own men. Through their mutual hatred of The Desert Ghost/The Shadow, they begin coordinating with one another with regards to running their forces in the Mediterranean Region, with Vahlen commanding ''Heer'' units and Bohm command various ''Luftwaffe'' units and squadrons. It's also through Bohm that Vahlen is introduced to several of Germany's Italian Allies, in this case The Four Libertines. Unsurprisingly, Vahlen takes a liking to the four men, given his track record of war crimes committed, as well as the fact that he's worked alongside Italian Forces during the North African campaign himself. Both he and Bohm make plans to capture Fairburne, and then have him tortured by the Libertines as revenge for killing both of them and foiling their plans in the past.

* With this arrival of fresh reinforcements, the Jagers, now operating as a much larger force, began defending German and Axis-held areas of the Pantheon from Allied and Soviet attacks. While the Valkyries, not unlike in their home universe, focus mainly on protecting [=VIP=]s and top-secret German military and research facilities, the regular Jagers, in addition to protecting Luftwaffe headquarters and airbases, are also deployed close to or on the frontline. While under the overall command of Luftwaffe General Heinz Bohm (who also commands the German Forces in the Italian Theater of the Pantheon), they're also placed under the command of other German officers in the other occupied Reich territories. Jagers operating in North Africa are placed under the command of General Franz Vahlen, while units operating in France operate under the supervision of Obbergruppenfuhrer Abelard Moller.

* By 1944, Nazi Germany, having lost several decisive campaigns in North Africa, Italy, and the Eastern Front, were being driven into a corner. With France and Western Europe being the most likely target for the next Allied attack, the Axis were desperate for anything that could turn the tide of the war back in their favor. The same was true on the other side of the globe, with the Empire of Japan being slowly squeezed out of the South and Central Pacific by the Allies, with their own fleet suffering heavy and irreplaceable losses.
** Enter Obbergruppenfuhrer Abelard Moller, an officer in the SS with tons of connections in both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. Using these connections, plus a ton of Germany's remaining resources, scientific research, and brand-new wonderweapons, Moller came up with an EvilPlan for just this situation...Operation ''Kraken''. The plan called for the Kriegsmarine, Schutzstaffel, and Imperial Japanese Navy to utilize their various {{Secret Weapon}}s together to launch a SneakAttack on the mainland United States.
** The {{Secret Weapon}}s in question that would be utilized by ''Kraken'' would include: stealth-plated Type VII U-boats, special launchers for the V2 rocket that would allow the rockets to be launched offshore from a submarine, modified V2 rockets that had a longer range, and finally, stealth-plated I-400 class submarines. The last one is of particular note, as these were the Imperial Japanese Navy's largest and heaviest submarines ever built, and Moller was able to procure three of these behemoths for the operation.
** In addition to these wonderweapons, various German troops from different branches would also be involved, namely those from the Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS. In the former's case, they were mainly various officers and sailors, mostly U-boat commanders and crewmen, while in the latter's case the soldiers and officers hailed from the Ausland SD, the SS Intelligence Agency. Compared to their Kriegsmarine counterparts, these men were [[EliteMooks far better trained and equipped with better weaponry]], the reason for this being that these same men would be deployed as English-speaking spies. These latter troops were also equal to their German Fallschirmjager counterparts.
* Unfortunately for Moller and his associates, the French Resistance, OSS, and SOE learned of the Operation just before it was to push through. Lt. Karl Fairburne, with help from French Resistance operatives and the US Army Rangers, managed to eliminate several of the officers involved, stole the intelligence on where their bases were, where and when they were going to strike, and raided the facilities used to produce and test the equipment for the operation. Worse still, the Allied Invasion of France on June 6, 1944 happened at around the same time, forcing Moller and his group to hasten preparations despite their supply lines getting cut off.
* Ultimately, despite coming close to launching their attack, Operation ''Kraken'' was cut short, when Lt. Karl Fairburne, the US Army Rangers, and the French Resistance managed to capture their main base of operations, the French port of St. Nazaire and destroy all of the stealth-plated submarines that were to be used in the operation. Moller's Japanese allies were also killed, including their highest-ranking officer, Shinji Yoshikawa. Moller himself, in an attempt to prevent himself from either getting sacked or executed [[YouHaveFailedMe for his failures]], attempted to [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere leave France]], only for Karl and the French Resistance to finally assassinate him. And thus, Operation ''Kraken'' was finally put down for good. Worse still, many of the SecretWeapon blueprints that Moller and his Japanese allies had carried were now in Allied hands, courtesy of Lt. Fairburne.
** A few months after the disaster at St. Nazaire, the German High Command decided to push through with ''Kraken'' again. They ordered Vogel, Moller's direct subordinate, to relaunch the Project with the remaining resources on-hand (including an incomplete fleet aircraft carrier), hastily revising it to be a conventional air and sea attack against the US East Coast. But despite the Nazis' attempts to keep the project top-secret, Lt. Karl Fairburne was able to retrieve intelligence pertaining to the renewed Project. With this new batch of intel, Fairburne was able to once again stop ''Kraken'' dead in its tracks, with Vogel, the Project's last high-ranking officer, dead, and the aircraft carrier and remaining stealth-plated Type VII U-boats blown to smithereens.
* While a complete failure militarily and strategically, this was not the end of Abelard Moller and Friedrich Vogel nor their ambitious EvilPlan...In the Pantheon, Moller's advanced weapons projects garnered the interest of Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, one of the Nazis' highest ranking Generals currently in the Pantheon. He also happened to be responsible for helping Johann Schmidt expand and rearm the German Armed Forces into a force capable of conquering the Pantheon. Upon finding the details of Operation ''Kraken'', particularly the advanced technology used and its rather ambitious goals, Deathshead decided that they were worth ascending to bolster their forces. Rather than ascend Moller solo, however, Strasse saw fit to ascend ''the entire Operation'' into the Pantheon, complete with their wonderweapons, production facilities, and major bases of operation.
* And so, Moller and his entire entourage were brought into the Pantheon as they had looked in early 1944, complete with all of their bases and production facilities located in Northern France. Unsurprisingly, Moller was still angry at Vogel [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere for abandoning him just as the Operation had been thwarted]], while Yoshikawa in turn was angry at Moller for letting their brand-new advanced submarines get destroyed easily. Ultimately, they were able to settle their differences after they were briefed by their new allies in the Pantheon, specifically Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto and Johann Schmidt. Both the German and Japanese officers told their newly-ascended allies that they would be allowed to push through with repeating Operation ''Kraken'' in the Pantheon, now with the full backing of both the Imperial Japanese and German militaries as well as the Waffen-SS. In essence, this means that all of their projects would not only be rebuilt or ascended alongside them completely, but would also be expanded and upgraded with the help of other deities affiliated with the Germans or Japanese.
* Upon Moller and his entourage receiving the title of '''Unholy Legion of {{Secret Weapon}}s''', they soon got to work reestablishing their Operation. With their bases and facilities ascended alongside them, both the Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS members of the Operation soon begin cooperating with the German Luftwaffe's Nemesis Squadron, Lt. Col. Arnold Berkman, Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, and Baron Rudolf von Sturmgeist. Thanks to Berkman's notes on [[Pantheon/MaximumSecurity Hexenium]] and Deathshead's advanced tech and weapon blueprints, the V2 rockets used by the ''Kraken'' group are upgraded to have longer range, and a far more powerful payload equivalent to that of an atomic bomb. Sophie, the White Witch, who had helped Berkman harness this crystallized magical energy, plans on using these improved V2 rockets to hit [[Pantheon/FictionalSettings the Principality of Eylstadt]] with these rockets, in order to eliminate its capital Landsbruck off the map. In addition, the stealth-plated Type VII U-boats were upgraded further, receiving the latest of Deathshead's 1946-era technology, allowing them to attack Allied shipping in addition to their original goal of transporting German troops and spies undetected. As for the Japanese I-400 class submarines, they were also upgraded by Strasse, with them receiving practically the same treatment as their German counterparts. And finally, the German aircraft carrier, rebuilt and restored from the ground-up, was not only completed and made fully operational, but was also given a complement of brand-new and more advanced navalized aircraft, both propeller and jet-powered.
* Aside from continuing with their EvilPlan to attack the rest of the Allied-controlled sectors of the Pantheon with the now-upgraded V2 rockets, stealth-plated submarines, and English-speaking German spies, the Operation ''Kraken'' members have also been assisting their other Nazi German and Imperial Japanese allies in carrying out other operations.
** Both the Stealth-plated U-boats and I-400 submarines have been utilized by the Nemesis Squadron to ship several of Deathshead's blueprints and advanced weapons components to several of the IJN's bases of operation, just as Nemesis had done in their own world beforehand. The German and Japanese submarines themselves have also been used by the Axis to attack Allied merchant shipping and warships, severely damaging or sinking several ships in the process. The same applies to the German aircraft carrier, which can carry far more supplies and aircraft to Japanese bases around the Pantheon. Thanks to the Germans' inexperience in handling carrier operations, the Japanese Naval elements in the Pantheon have been assisting their Kriegsmarine counterparts in training, fleet formations, and DamageControl, with the Germans also lending their new carrier to operate alongside it's Japanese counterparts against US and British naval forces.
** One lesser-known operation that ''Kraken'' has been assisting are serving as transports for Dr. Rene Belloq and his Nazi assistant Arnold Ernst Toht. While the Nazis in the Pantheon are mainly focused on creating [[StupidJetpackHitler advanced scientific breakthroughs and weaponry]], a small number of Nazis such as the Milleneum organization and the LDO are more focused on [[{{Ghostapo}} exploiting the supernatural]]. As such, the retrieval of various artifacts has been approved by both groups, with Toht and Belloq receiving a generous amount of "donations" from them for this task. The ''Kraken'' bases , particularly Beaumont St. Denis and the U-boat pens at St. Nazaire, have been used to store a number of artifacts, with the former being used for the occasional ritual.
** Moller himself, having helped govern Northern France prior to the Normandy landings, has once again helped the Nazis retain their strongholds in the Pantheon, by taking out suspected Allied collaborators and helping strengthen defenses near [[Pantheon/FictionalSettings Omaha Beach]]. With proper Heer Infanterie support now available to him, Moller has them set up a defense in-depth around the beach, with them regularly shelling any Allied units attempting to reinforce and resupply through there. This ends up slowing down Allied advances, as the latter are forced to get most of their supplies through the beach.
* Unsurprisingly, this amount of increased Nazi German and Imperial Japanese activity has attracted the attention of Allied leadership, particularly that of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. With the Japanese successfully receiving more shipments of advanced German weapons, and the ''Kraken'' fleet having the potential to wreak havoc on several Allied cities at the same time, stopping them has become a major priority. So much so, that in addition to elements of the US Army being tasked to stop them, several US Navy and USMC components have also been called up to destroy any and all ''Kraken'' U-boats and Japanese submarines on sight.
** Among the latter include the PBY Catalina Black Cat Mantaray 5-4, Lt. Cdr. Dick Best and Sgt. Thomas Conlin's squad with their SBD Dauntless dive bombers. They're also backed up by the Battlehawks, the GoodCounterpart and ArchEnemy of the Nemesis Squadron, in carrying out this order to sink all ''Kraken'' submarines on sight. In the case of the latter, they assist their USN and USMC allies by providing them with valuable fighter escort and additional firepower, namely with various USAAF and USN types such as the [=F4F=] Wildcat, P-38 Lightning, and P-51 Mustang.
** Thanks to Lt. Karl Fairburne's previous work in taking down the Operation back in June 1944 of his world, not to mention managing to capture most if not all of the vital intel linked to it, the Allies have a much better idea of what they're facing. Fairburne himself has been tasked by President Roosevelt to take down Moller and his cohorts once again when given the opportunity, as well as help direct and lead a number of US Rangers, specifically Lt. Mike Powell, Dog Company, and Charlie Company, all from the 2nd Ranger Battalion, in a second on raid on St. Nazaire.
* With his predecessors General Franz Vahlen and General Heinz Böhm also ascended in the Pantheon and continuing work on their own wonderweapons projects, Abelard Moller has decided to team up with his fellow Nazi officers in both helping their new fellow Axis allies conquer the Pantheon, and to take down Lt. Karl Fairburne once and for all. Moller himself, in addition to being a target of Fairburne, has also become targeted by various other deities both Allied and non-aligned. Among them include the Basterds, a group of OSS agents with a penchant for hunting Nazis who succeeded in assassinating their universe's version of Hitler, and Captain William J. Blazkowicz, a famed NaziHunter, Army Captain, and Resistance leader known for having assassinated numerous Nazis including his ArchEnemy Wilhelm "Deathsead" Strasse. Unsurprisingly, despite his improved and increased security within the Pantheon, Moller ultimately remains as much of a NervousWreck as he was back in his home universe, with him constantly being worried about his plan failing once more, or being killed or thwarted by Fairburne and his new allies.
** With his involvement in the defense of Occupied France against Allied Forces, Moller has also earned the ire of various American and British units that were involved in the fighting there, namely those from the 101st Airborne Division and British 7th Armored Division as well as the aforementioned members of the 2nd Ranger Battalion. In fact, Moller's chateau has been repeatedly raided by the likes of Staff Sergeant Joe Hartsock and Sgt. Franklin Paddock in an attempt to help stop the Operation, with the former having had prior experience in raiding similar chateaus for intel. These efforts prove unsuccessful, however, as Moller makes it a point to move out of the chateau after Fairburne had raided the compound twice, the second time resulting in his assassination and death.
''"Our hour of triumph is at hand . Like the mythical beast of legend, the Kraken shall rise from the ocean, and rain destruction upon the heads of our despised enemies - in America! Their great cities - Boston, New York, Washington - will fall before the might of the Kraken. The action we take today, will be remembered for all time. We will turn the tide of war back in our favor and grant the Reich total victory over all who dare stand against us!"''

* An elite German Paratrooper unit active in early 1944, the Valkyrie Jäger, also known simply as Valkyrie Squad, were a force to be reckoned with. In contrast to most German infantry units, who were armed mostly with bolt action rifles and the occasional submachine gun, the Valkyries were armed almost exclusively with rare guns, specifically several SuperPrototype weaponry. These included the [=Mkb=]42 (H), a prototype version of the famous STG 44 assault rifle, and the Neunfaust launcher, a prototype launcher capable of firing 9 rockets without any drop. The only other German infantry units that had a similarly powerful arsenal were regular Jäger troops, who didn't have access to the Neunfaust.
** In addition to this, Valkyrie Officers are armed with the Mauser [=M712=] Schnellfeuer machine pistol, while Valkyrie Snipers are armed with custom Swedish Mauser sniper rifles. Both of these weapons, along with the aforementioned Mkb 42, outperformed their Allied counterparts in terms of firepower, damage, and capacity.
** In terms of armored vehicles, the Valkyries were always accompanied by at least two armored fighting vehicles, either the Sd Kfz 251 or the Sd Kfz 222.
* Of special note is that all of the Valkyrie Jäger are EliteMook versions of all German infantry types sans the regular Infantry. Each is better trained, better equipped, and far more durable. And most importantly, all of them were armed with far more advanced weaponry than their adversaries. This would be the eventual reason for their ascension as '''The [[TheEnemyWeaponsAreBetter Better-Armed Enemies]] of the Pantheon'''.
* Despite their status as EliteMooks with the potential to inflict heavy casualties on the Allied Forces, they were mostly deployed behind the frontlines. Either as counter-insurgents against various Italian partisan movements, or as PraetorianGuard units, protecting high-ranking German officers and scientists from assassination or abduction.
* During [[Pantheon/{{Gameplay}} Lt. Karl Fairburne's]] discovery and subsequent investigation of the Deathstorm project, he had encountered this unit twice: first during the rescue of Veriana Galvani, where they were shown guarding a German propaganda minister and also being deployed against Italian Partisans, and then during the destruction of the Deathstorm prototype, where they were guarding high-ranking German scientists and the lab where the Deathstorm prototype was being stored. In both instances, they failed to kill the OSS agent.
* Ultimately, most of the unit was wiped out when the [[MadeOfExplodium Deathstorm prototype]] and [[CollapsingLair the lab housing it were destroyed in a huge explosion]], taking the entire town, and by extension, the remaining members, out. It is unknown if the unit was brought back afterwards.
* One day, during a "routine" mission scouting a HYDRA facility located deep within the Pantheon, Lt. Karl Fairburne retrieves a familiar-looking dossier from a German officer's safe. Curious, he decides to try using the special code written on it upon finding a German radio room.
->'''Karl Fairburne''': "This is Obbergruppenfuhrer [[Pantheon/BossDesign Heinz Böhm]], authorization code ''Iron Scorpion''! I need Valkyrie Squad here now! Now, damn it - now!"
->'''Valkyrie Officer''': "Understood, Herr Böhm!"
* Sure enough, the enemy unit he had been suspecting of being ascended had arrived, black uniforms and all. However, what he didn't count on was them upgrading their entire arsenal. Their [[AwesomePersonnelCarrier transports]] were now the [[https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/HYDRA_Armored_Personnel_Carrier HYDRA Armored Personnel Carrier]], the armored cars accompanying them were now either the [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/wolfenstein/images/1/15/AAV1_01.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150327140127&format=original AAV Armored Car]] or the [[https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/HYDRA_Mini_Tank HYDRA Mini Tank]], and all of their firearms have been upgraded to types such as the [[https://wolfenstein.fandom.com/wiki/Assault_Rifle_1960 Sturmgewehr 60]], [[https://wolfenstein.fandom.com/wiki/Handgun_1960 Handgun 1960]], and [[https://wolfenstein.fandom.com/wiki/Automatic_Shotgun Automatic Shotgun]], replacing older weapons such as the [=Mkb=] 42 (H), Mauser M712, and M30 Luftwaffe Drilling. Despite this, the OSS agent manages to kill several of the elite German troops with his ImprobableAimingSkills once more, destroying their armored vehicles in the process. The survivors, caught completely by surprise, TakeCover and fire in the direction Fairburne's shots had come from. Using this as a distraction, the Lieutenant slips away, but not before grabbing one of their Neunfaust launchers from one of the dead soldiers.
* Despite this initial setback, the Valkyries still prove to be formidable adversaries to most other Allied and Soviet units. In several other skirmishes between Allied forces and German troops, the Valkyries manage to repel an attack by US paratroopers [[Pantheon/SoldierArchetypes Cpl. Boyd Travers]] and [[Pantheon/ActsOfWar Sgt. Jack Barnes]] on an important German munitions plant.
* While now being used against Allied troops as they were originally intended, they are still used on occasion as PraetorianGuard units as well as counter-insurgents.
** When not going after Allied saboteurs, commandos, or paratroops, the Valkyries are often seen accompanying important Nazi officials such as Rudolf von Sturmgeist, Arnim Zola, and Heinz Böhm as their bodyguards, as well as watching over their wonder-weapons projects. And because they are part of the German Luftwaffe, they are also tasked with guarding important German airbases.
** Their counter-insurgency operations, on the other hand, attract the attention of deities such as Squad 7 and Lelouch Britannia, who are known for their underground resistance slash militia movements in the Pantheon. The former in particular, having battled the Red Skull's forces before, soon realize that the enemies they are now dealing with are far more competent and deadly than the [[Pantheon/{{Enemies}} Waffen-SS soldiers]] they've come up against before, and unlike the [[Pantheon/{{Enemies}} Nazi Storm Elites]], are far more mobile and carry a larger variety of weapons.
* One new role that the Valkyries have been given is the assassination of high-profile Allied officials. Among the targets being given to them by Johann Schmidt include Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dr. Abraham Erskine, in order to cripple the Allied leadership and to prevent any more {{Super Soldier}}s like Captain America from being made.
* Aside from Lt. Karl Fairburne, many Allied deities such as the aforementioned Travers, the Basterds and even BJ Blaskowicz often loot them and their ammunition storage facilities, due to the weapons they're using being obsolete compared to the ones being used by the Valkyries.
* Because of their reputation as brutal enforcers of a military dictatorship, many actual Valkyries such as Freya, Brynhild and Lenneth are utterly disgusted by their use of the name. When they encounter members of the unit in person, they make it a point to slaughter several soldiers in order to MakeAnExampleOfThem.
* They are, interestingly, far from the only German unit to have an arguably better arsenal of weaponry than their Allied counterparts. During the North African Campaign, there was an elite Heer unit called the Schutzvollstrecker, who, like the Valkyries, had developed a revolutionary new rocket launcher, and were also part of a top-secret German operation to turn the tide of war into Germany's favor. Like them, however, the unit was wiped out by Lt. Karl Fairburne, their plans failed, and their new weapons were never produced in sufficient numbers.

Despite this, Valkyrie Officers are they were still trained as paratroopers, and could perform Airborne operations and drops when needed.

armed with machine guns such as the MG 42 and FG 42, and the Vampir Jager, who are equipped with special nightvision equipment and accompanying battery packs. What's more, there also exist the Valkyrie Jager, a unit composed of the best Jager Troops, and wearing their own unique black uniforms. Their members are all essentially elite variants of the regular Infantry and Jager Troops as well as the TargetSpotter class, carrying mostly the same weaponry as their regular Infantry and Jager counterparts. However, certain members of the Valkyrie, such as their Officers, Snipers, and Faust Troopers, carry better weaponry such as the Mauser [=M712=] Schnellfeuer machine pistol, while Valkyrie Snipers are armed with custom pistol and Swedish Mauser sniper rifles. Thus, when an entire unit of Jager Troops is defending a German-held position, odds are that the position in question is a highly vital chokepoint such as a supply base, research facility, or wonderweapon production line. Unfortunately, because of this style of deployment, there were never enough Jager Troops to go around, particularly when they were mostly deployed behind the frontlines. In addition, several platoons of Jagers also aided the Schutzvollstrecker in their ultimately unsuccessful AssassinationAttempt on occasion as PraetorianGuard units as well as counter-insurgents.British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
** When not going after Allied saboteurs, commandos, or paratroops, the Valkyries are often seen accompanying important Nazi officials such as Rudolf von Sturmgeist, Arnim Zola, and General Heinz Böhm as their bodyguards, Bohm, the commander of the Axis Forces in the Allagra region of Southern Italy, commanded several companies of Jager Troops, and deployed them against the Italian Partisan groups operating the region, as well as watching over having them guard important facilities and personnel (among which included Bohm's own mountain fortress).
** To protect important personnel related to the "Deathstorm" Program as well as protect the Italian Social Republic from increasingly persistent Partisan activity, the Valkyrie Jager were deployed in early 1944 to select locations. Karl Fairburne would end up clashing with soldiers from this unit twice. The first would be in Southern Italy, after luring a squad of Valkyries into an ambush and wiping them out. The second, and final, time would be in Southern Germany, with bulk of
their wonder-weapons projects. And because they forces protecting the "Deathstorm" prototype and personnel. The unit would ultimately be wiped out by Karl Fairburne as well as the explosion of the "Deathstorm" warheads.
** In early 1944, Fairburne would once again encounter the Jager Troops in France, helping to defend against the Allied invasion forces, guard a number of military headquarters and facilities, both in Germany and in different parts of France. In addition to the Fallschirmjagers (German Paratroopers), Fairburne would also encounter ''Heer" (German Army) Jagers and their Waffen SS counterparts, the Ausland SD. Compared to their counterparts in Italy and North Africa, these troops
are part of more competent in hand-to-hand combat, [[KungFuProofMook and thus able to counter most melee attacks from the front]].
* The Jager Troops that would end up in the Pantheon are none other than
the German Luftwaffe, they are also Fallschirmjager, German Paratroopers established by and under the command of Germany's Air Force, the Luftwaffe. Originally, only the Valkyrie Jager, the most elite of the Jager, were ascended into the Pantheon. These troops were, much like in their original universe, tasked with guarding important German airbases.
** Their counter-insurgency operations, on
military bases, research facilities, and [=VIP=]s (which include high-ranking Axis officers and scientists). However, due to the other hand, attract growing influx of Western Allied and Soviet presence in the attention Pantheon, German infantry who could protect the Reich-controlled sections of deities such as Squad 7 the Pantheon were in increasingly in demand. And so, following the Heer's, Waffen-SS's, and Lelouch Britannia, who are known for their underground resistance slash militia movements Kriegsmarine's expansions in the Pantheon, it was also decided to expand the German Luftwaffe's ground forces as well.
** An entire regiment of German Paratroopers were ascended as part of this effort, reinforcing the company-sized Valkyrie Jager already deployed
in the Pantheon. The former in particular, having battled two units would then be combined into a single Division-sized unit, with the Red Skull's forces before, soon realize combined Jager Troops receiving the title of '''Unholy Legion of [[TheEnemyWeaponsAreBetter Better-Equipped Enemy Forces]]'''. This title is thanks in no part to being equipped with the most advanced weapons that Nazi Germany has to offer, which include automatic rifles like the enemies [=Mkb=] 42 (H), its successor, the STG 44, and the FG 42, machine guns like the MG 42, and semiautomatic rifles like the Gewehr 43. These weapons were on par with or superior to their Allied counterparts, often featuring higher magazine capacities, faster rates of fire, were generally lighter, and had more customizability options. The Valkyrie Jager, on the other hand, also wielded a number of custom and SuperPrototype weaponry, which included the Mauser [=M712=] machine pistol, sniper variants of the Swedish Mauser, and, most notably, the Neunfaust launcher, an AntiInfantry variant of the Fleigerfaust launcher capable of destroying lightly armored vehicles.
* While
they were only shown deployed as conventional infantry in their home universe, in the Pantheon, the Fallschirmjagers are now dealing with are far deployed both in the conventional infantry role as well as being deployed by both parachute and glider, allowing them to launch surprise attacks even in Allied or neutral territories. This is thanks to more competent and deadly than the [[Pantheon/{{Enemies}} Waffen-SS soldiers]] they've come up against before, and unlike the [[Pantheon/{{Enemies}} Nazi Storm Elites]], are far more mobile and carry a larger variety of weapons.
* One new role that the Valkyries have been given is the assassination of high-profile Allied officials. Among the targets being given to them by
German commanders like Johann Schmidt include Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dr. Abraham Erskine, Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse being in command of the German Forces deployed in the Pantheon, and seeing their full potential for both special operations as well as frontline fighting. Strasse in particular admired the Fallschirmjager thanks in large part to having worked alongside the Waffen-SS's own paratroopers, the Black Guard, in his own universe. Deathshead himself has, in fact, a platoon of Valkyrie Jager under his personal command, to serve as part of his personal Commando force.
** Amongst the [=VIP=]s that the Jagers have been tasked with guarding include: The Four Libertines, Italian Fascists and close allies of the Nazis, scientists and officers of HYDRA, Lt. Col. Arnold Berkman, a former Germanian Army officer who has since decided to work closely with his new Nazi and HYDRA allies, and Sophie, the White Witch revived for the Germanian Empire who, like Berkman, has decided to throw in her lot with the Nazis for the sake of revenge against Eylstadt. Most of these deities [[BodyguardingABadass arguably don't need their protection due to being far more powerful than the German Paratroopers]]. However, due to a number of them having already been killed or nearly killed in the past in their home universes, having additional men to protect these [=VIP=]s is necessary
in order to cripple avoid a repeat.
* In war-torn areas such as the outskirts of Omaha Beach, the German-occupied areas in and around Eindhoven and Hell's Highway, in the mountains and countrysides of Eylstadt, and even in Berlin itself, the Fallschirmjager would fight alongside their Heer Infanterie and Waffen-SS counterparts. Fighting constantly against both Western Allied and Soviet forces, the German Paratroopers' nickname of "The Green Devils" would soon be proven true once more. Compared to their aforementioned counterparts in the German Army and Waffen-SS, the Jagers were a cut above them, possessing not only comparable or superior weapons and equipment but also superior training, combat experience, and weapons handling.
** Against most Soviet, British, and regular American infantry units, the Jagers were able to inflict heavy casualties on their adversaries. Even Rangers and Paratroopers, the US Army's best infantry units, were given a run for their money. Sergeants Matthew Baker and Joe Hartsock and the men from their squads, having already fought Fallschirmjagers in France and the Netherlands, were less than pleased at having to run into these German units again. The same sentiment was shared by Easy Company, who had fought the Green Devils in and around Carentan following the D-Day landings and were now encountering them once more in the Pantheon.
** That said, while offering a difficult challenge to most Allied troops, they in turn were bested by some of the best agents that
the Allied leadership and Forces had to prevent any more {{Super Soldier}}s like Captain America from being made.
* Aside from
offer. The aforementioned Lt. Karl Fairburne, many Allied deities such as having already fought against entire battalions of Jagers in North Africa, Italy, and France, knew all of their tactics, weapons, and how they were deployed. Manon Batiste, having fought Fallschirmjager during the Battle of Monte Cassino, employed her skills in guerilla warfare and sabotage against the Jager Troops, managing to destroy a number of their ammunition supplies and armored support once more. William J. Blazkowicz, being the OneManArmy he is, could wipe the floor with them, being able to outclass them in any firefight or stealth mission, no thanks to having ascended into the Pantheon with his new SuperSoldier body. Steve Rogers, thanks in no part to the super soldier serum, could throw the Jagers and the equipment around like ragdolls. Even a number of US Airborne troops like the aforementioned Travers, the Basterds Easy Company, Baker, Hartsock, Paddock, Jasper, and even BJ Blaskowicz often loot Conner, could still defeat them and in a prolonged firefight, thanks to their ammunition storage facilities, due tactics and superior teamwork.
* Thanks
to the weapons they're using being obsolete compared to presence of organizations like HYDRA and officers like the ones being used by aforementioned Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, certain Fallschirmjager units, the Valkyries.
* Because of their reputation as brutal enforcers of a military dictatorship, many actual
Valkyries such as Freya, Brynhild and Lenneth are utterly disgusted by their use of the name. When they encounter members of the unit in person, they make it a point to slaughter several soldiers in order to MakeAnExampleOfThem.
* They are, interestingly, far from the only German unit to have an arguably better arsenal of
particular, would also receive more advanced weaponry than their the ones they were already issued with. Many of these were Deathshead's own weapons designs from the 1946 of his home universe, being improvements of existing German small arms. Some units, however, have been equipped with prototypes of Deathshead's far more advanced weapons designs from the 1960 where [[AlternateHistoryNaziVictory the Nazis won World War II]]. These troops are particularly dangerous, as the weapons and technology they carry, some of which include completely new designs like the Laserkraftwerk, easily outgun the vast majority of Allied counterparts. During units, and are even capable of threatening deities of up to Intermediate level when used correctly. Neutralizing these troops and capturing or destroying their weapons has, in fact, become a top priority. Mass production of these advanced weapons would and could potentially give the North African Campaign, there was an Nazis a chance at turning the stalemate that is the ForeverWar between them and the Allies in the Pantheon into yet another slaughter and potential victory, and, thanks to Blazkowicz's own experiences, the Allies in the Pantheon have made sure not to give the Nazis any chance to mass produce this technology.
* Thanks in no part to their status as
elite troops as well as their competency on the battefield, the Jagers are also being utilized in a number of other roles aside from conventional Airborne and Infantry operations. These operations are mainly top secret in nature, and often involve them operating alongside other elite Axis units from the Heer unit called and Waffen-SS.
** Alongside
the Schutzvollstrecker, who, like platoons of Jagers and Valkyries have been deployed within the Valkyries, had developed Principality of Eylstadt following its retaking by Izetta and the Allied Forces assisting her. Knowing that they can't fight a revolutionary new conventional war due to the White Witch's power, they instead fight a protracted guerilla war, performing their own espionage and sabotage missions well behind the frontlines. These have mainly involved the destruction of important railway hubs, road networks, and communications centers. However, should the opportunity present itself, their mission would also involve performing or assisting the Schutzvollstrecker in an AssassinationAttempt or [[StraightForTheCommander kidnapping attempt]] on the Archduchess of Eylstadt, Ortfine Fredericka von Eylstadt, who by this point has been targeted no less than four times by the Germanians and later the Nazis.
** With the revival of Operation ''Kraken'' well underway in the Pantheon, the Jagers have once again been called into action to not only help guard the V2
rocket launcher, testing facilities, U-boat pens, and were shipyards needed for the operation, but also to now be part of a top-secret the now-expanded force of German operation to turn saboteurs and spies intent on infiltrating other Houses in the tide Pantheon and wreaking havoc there. A number of war into Germany's favor. Like them, however, them have also been deployed aboard the unit was wiped out by Lt. Karl Fairburne, their plans failed, operation's flagship, a ''Graf Zeppelin''-class aircraft carrier, in order to prevent its sabotage and their new weapons were never produced in sufficient numbers.destruction by any deities who oppose them.

* Big Bull has got major competition when it comes to [[DropTheHammer the hammer department]] (or really any two-handed blunt weapon) and while he admits they're all pretty impressive, he isn't letting them get the better of him and his Jet Hammer that easy. He's willing to lock horns and leave as many indents to prove his point. Nora Valkyie, Smough, and Reinhardt are people he commonly competes with.
