* ''Series/ANTFarm'': Throughout most of the first season of the show ''"A.N.T. Farm"'', Chyna is completely oblivious to Fletcher's giant crush on her and just thinks he's always being either overly nice to her, or that he's just being weird as his usual awkward, goofy self, since she knows he tends to have an unusually quirky personality, and since he has a tendency to be rather dumb and scatterbrained at times. However in the episode ''"some enchANTed evening"'' towards the end of Season 1, Fletcher finally reveals to her that he's in love with her and tries to ask her out on a date. Chyna responds by trying to gently let him down so that a dating relationship doesn't ruin their friendship, but instead of moving on and taking the rejection with grace, [[DoggedNiceGuy he still continues to flirt with her and continues to go out of his way to impress her and win her affections, just only in more subtle ways.]] From Season 2 onward, Chyna is aware of Fletcher's on-and-off crush on her (as he does try to move on and date other girls throughout the series) but she just continues to ignore it as an unrequited crush.

* ''Series/MightyMed'': In the series, ''Mighty Med'', Oliver (also played by Jake Short from the "''A.N.T. Farm''" section above) has a huge crush on alien superhero Skylar Storm, but she is mostly oblivious and unaware of his romantic feelings and attraction for her, because as she's an alien from another planet, she doesn't quite get the concept of love and romance at first until she learns more about it from the other characters throughout the show. However towards the end of Season 2, she finally starts to realize and acknowledge the fact that Oliver has a crush on her, and tells him that although she doesn't know for sure if she would give him a chance to date her and that she'd like some time to mull it over, she is flattered by his romantic feelings for her. This is [[JustifiedTrope justified]] since they did have a lot of stress on their respective plates in the grand scheme of things with the villains they were facing off against, and Skylar tells him she just doesn't think it's a good time for them to focus on a romantic relationship and that if they defeat the villains they were up against, she'd think about it. ** However, in the Season 2 episode, "endurANTs", when Chyna and their friends take a trip to Australia and get stranded in the middle of the Australian Outback, Chyna begins to think long and hard about Fletcher's crush on her when they get separated while she worries about his safety. When he actually comes to their rescue and saves them from a wild emu who almost attacks them and as she thanks him for rescuing all of them, she actually hints to Fletcher that she may be ready to reciprocate his romantic feelings and see him as more than just a friend. But just as she's about to tell him this, a boomerang that their friend Olive had threw up in the air that she used to try to help them earlier, comes back down and hits Chyna in the back of the head, knocking her unconscious, and thus preventing her from ever telling him. And after said episode, Chyna, in fact, never does tell Fletcher whether she was seriously considering returning his romantic feelings or not, and Fletcher goes right back to having his crush on her unrequited.

* ''Series/GoodOmens2019'': A platonic ([[ShipTease/GoodOmens2019 maybe]]) version between Aziraphale and Crowley. Even when it's blatantly obvious that Crowley genuinely cares for Aziraphale as a result of an emotional connection, not simply the terms of "the arrangement" or as part of some demonic game, Aziraphale either doesn't realise or [[SelectiveObliviousness won't let himself admit]] that Crowley is being sincere.
