* In [[Recap/WildKrattsS7E6NoNameDream "No-Name Dream"]], it all starts off like normal, with Martin having a dream of him meeting various baby animals he met and named, which does become surreal at times, but overall pretty normal...until he encounters four baby animals he did not name, that suddenly begin to talk in a deep voice, begging Martin to give them names [[MadnessMantra over and over again]] as they cry and grow bigger, and eventually Martin starts to fall down, as if he was drowning... Overall quite a SurprisinglyCreepyMoment after starting off surreal in a fun way.

* Gourmand's teeth gnashing in "Stuck on Sharks". What made it even more creepy was he was [[TalkingToThemself talking to himself]] while he was doing it.

* Gourmand talks to himself in an [[JustifiedTrope unjustifiable]] way, sings jingles about eating endangered animals to himself; heck, the whole thing about cooking and eating endangered animals is creepy enough. Not to mention the fact that he's perfectly willing to cook and eat the Kratts if he can get his hands on them; the incident in the wild turkey episode could be more justified by the fact that Martin was in turkey form when Gourmand went after him but there is ''no'' excuse for wanting to make "a side of Kratt" out of a miniaturized Chris in ''Platypus Cafe''.

* In ''When Fish Fly'', a miniaturized Koki gets lost at sea when the flying fish she's on gets startled by a dolphin. She manages to find a plant leaf to rest on, but the flying fish lays eggs on the plant, causing the leaf to sink. She tries to swim away but is stuck to the leaf, which pulls her under the water. Koki would've drowned if not for the Kratt brothers arriving in time.

If you thought a cheerful kids' show with creature adventures like WesternAnimation/WildKratts would be like a walk in the park, you'd be dead wrong, because between [[EvilPoacher the villains]], [[NatureIsNotNice the dark side of nature]], and sometimes even '''on-screen death''', there's a reason why it started on ''PBS Kids GO!'' before it shut down.

* The orcas fatally tearing apart a giant squid and eating it in “This Orca likes Sharks” deserves a mention.
