** Doug preparing a meal for Katherine and Ben but as soon as he turns his back to check on the food, the food is infested and rotting and just swarming with flies and maggots.
** Doug, Ben and Katherine go to investigate a farm and are run over by something. Soon, they feel that there's someone or something outside the truck. Then a bull rams into the passenger side door continually trying to kill them with his horns.
** The sight of many cattle dropping dead like flies one by one.
** Father Costigan having a frightening vision of an angel statue springing to life with its wings spread and turning into a swarm of flies.
** Doug's mansion having a blackout due to a thunderstorm. Suddenly Katherine's laptop shows a picture of Loren screaming with her eyes illuminated in red.
** A brief JumpScare when the thunder crashes and all the windows burst open due to the winds, startling Katherine.
** In Katherine's erotic dream, Loren is standing right in front of her watching. But Katherine is too preoccupied to do anything.
** After having a fever dream and nightmares, Katherine wakes up the following morning and starts making her breakfast. Only the egg she cracks open into the frying pan turns completely bloody. Then she's greeted to a JumpScare by the loud hissing sound of a boiling kettle of tea. Then she sees Loren standing right outside watching by the porch window.
** Katherine having a nightmare of being back in Sudan, cradling her husband and child's dead bodies. Then her daughter Sarah suddenly morphs into Loren who tells Katherine "He's right behind you". Then a haman appears behind Katherine donning creepy face paint and welding a butcher knife. Katherine promptly attacks the man for killing her family. He stabs her, blood drips from her mouth. Then she wakes up.
** The following morning, Katherine is relieved that the nightmares are over. Then she sees her footsteps in the kitchen are covered in white sand (from the nightmare of being back in Sudan) and realizes it wasn't a dream.
** Katherine investigating the McConnell house and seeing how messy the house is. Giant bugs infesting the leftover breakfast plates.
** A trail of blood leading to the pantry with a satanic symbol on it.
** Every time Loren just stands silent.
** Katherine trying to help clean Loren of her menstrual blood dripping down her leg. Then blood gushes into the towel she's holding against her and she has more frightening visions of people attempting to hunt Loren for killing her brother in the river.
** Loren's mother appearing suddenly, asking Katherine if she's going to kill her daughter Loren. Katherine assures Mrs. McConnell she won't harm her child and Mrs. McConnell asks Katherine "Why not?". Then they're attacked by a screaming Loren who bites her mother's hand and pushes Katherine away.
** The close-up of lice crawling over the children's heads as they're having their heads shaved due to the lice infestation.
** The farmers burning the pile of all the dead cattle corpses to avoid infestation.
** Brody's mummified rotted corpse with the eyes rolled back and his mouth wide open. The body's been dead for 3 days yet it's decomposed like 2 to 3 years instantly.
** Katherine reading the lab results and learning to her horror that the river ''is'' human blood. The whole river. And it's a two-mile stretch of river. And an estimated 300,000 bodies' worth of blood.
** Father Costigan explaining to Katherine the biblical tales of a cult and their sacrificial rituals to Satan involving the firstborns being spared and the second born being sacrificed once they've entered puberty.
** As Ben, Doug and the sheriff locate Mayor Brooks to help evacuate the town, they enter the church to find the people dead inside. Their bodies covered from head to toe with boils. Then they find a dying Mayor Brooks and his entire face is just covered with boils.

** It's heavily implied that Father Costigan was murdered by an unseen malevolent force like The Devil. As he tries to warn Katherine, flames erupt from the pictures of Katherine, smoke and fire fill the room, and his door is locked. His dying screams for help go unheard and he burns to death.
** Katherine entering the McConnell cellar and finding a sacrificial chamber of sorts, an examination table, restraints for the arms and legs, two chalices, medical syringes and needles and a hole on the table for the blood to drip downward to.
** For a moment it looked as if Mrs. McConnell was going to murder Katherine, then she commits suicide by putting a gun in her mouth right in front of Katherine.
** Loren looking over her dead mother's body, the blood just pooling over her bare feet.
** Katherine being trapped in the basement AloneWithThePsycho and trying to escape without making her presence known to Loren. Then her walky-talky goes off, alerting Loren in her direction.
** Katherine attempting to leave the McConnell house when swarms of locusts hit the doors and walls and windows from the outside. Then Loren stands outside attacking the townspeople of Haven with locusts for attempting to shoot her. As more swarms of locusts overwhelmed the people, even killing a man in front of his son and Doug having to divd into the bloody river and Ben hiding in the mausoleum to free himself of the locusts, Katherine is reduced to barricading herself inside Loren's bedroom with a mattress to shield herself from the locusts.
** Ben investigating the mausoleum and finding [[spoiler: satanic symbols written in blood, skulls of children with their birth dates embedded in writing on the skulls, hundreds of pre-pubescent children's corpses hanging up in chains and children's bones embedded in the walls of the mausoleum. Cluing him in the satanic cult hiding in the town of Haven.]]
** As Katherine attempts to approach Loren in a friendly manner, birds and flies exit from the trees and into the skies. Great darkness falls over the area and fire starts raining down from the sky with thunder crashing.
** As Katherine attempts to kill Loren, Loren screams and Katherine is transported to another one of Loren's visions [[spoiler: where Loren is being held down by her mother and brother (from her first person view), knives and syringes on the table next to her and religious townsfolk gathered around inside the basement in eerie chanting and prayers. This becomes the plot twist.]]
** Loren showing Katherine [[spoiler: the reality of what really happened: Loren is being held down by her mother and brother attempting to sacrifice her to Satan. Loren bites her brother Brody in self-defense and takes off running. Brody catches up and stabs Loren with a butcher knife. The fact that someone as young as Brody showing no remorse over murdering his own little sister for a sacrificial ritual to Satan. The fact that her own mother ordered her eldest child to kill her youngest child for Satanism. Though he deserved to die for what he had almost done, the way Brody quickly decomposes is quite unnerving]].
** After the reveal [[spoiler: that Loren is actually GoodAllAlong, Doug still tries to manipulate Katherine into killing Loren. It really shows just how lost and delusional Doug and the townspeople have become in their devotion to Satan.]]
** [[spoiler: The reveal that Doug murdered Ben by bashing him in the back of the head with a vase. Just to keep him quiet about the satanic sacrificial chambers filled with children's bodies]].
** [[spoiler: After Doug is revealed to be the BigBad, the fact that he killed Ben also as a means to trick Katherine into blaming and murdering Loren shows just how cruel and manipulative he really is.]]
** [[spoiler: Katherine and Loren attempt to escape to safety, only to be surrounded by many of the townspeople of Haven who all just happen to be satanic cultists]].
** [[spoiler: The townspeople being incinerated by the fireballs sent by God to destroy them. Justified since they deserve it.]]
** [[spoiler: As Doug attempts to kill Katherine and Loren, Katherine is spared by God while Doug's face rapidly decays due to the evil that he is. Black surrounds his eyes and his eyes turning bright red. Then the flesh melts off and he is reduced to a screaming skeleton until he combusts into ash and a giant fireball destroys the town of Haven populated by satanic cultists. Save for Katherine and Loren.]]
** As Loren [[spoiler: congratulates Loren on her unborn baby, the ending shows flashbacks of what really happened. Instead of an erotic dream, in reality Katherine was drugged and in an unconscious state when Doug raped her. To create "a perfect child reborn with the eyes of Satan". Katherine then realizes to her horror that, since this is her second child, she is pregnant with the Antichrist]].
