*** Martian uses his shapeshifting powers to coil and restrain Omni-Man as Immortal and War Woman beat him, only for Omni-Man to just ''rip an organ off''.
*** Not just any organ. The comic established that Martians can heal from almost anything, as long as their core, the seat of their personality, isn't damaged. Omni-Man essentially ripped Martian's ''brain'' out.

* The Flaxan leader targeting Mark, for the crime of taking his eye. He gives an EvilLaugh when finally defeating him in combat.

* This episode reveals that Donald was terrified about Nolan killing Debbie, and had witnessed their fight from the previous evening thanks to the GDA's surveillance. The minute Nolan leaves after Debbie kicks him out, they undo their cloaking with guns aimed at the new hole in the roof and Donald kindly asks her to come with them to protect her from her husband, looking relieved that she's not hurt. Given that he later tears through them like tissue paper, it would have been a HopelessBossFight and Debbie might have died anyway.
* Cecil tells Debbie that he doesn't want Nolan dead, and even if he wanted to, they have no guaranteed failsafe. Mark may be the only one, but Debbie gives a blunt no, and Cecil reluctantly agrees because they can't find Mark and it would mean breaking the news to him that his father is a killer. Cecil's plain scared, and [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness that should make the viewers terrified]].

He thankfully leaves when William is able to point him to a direction.

* Nolan's encounter with Cecil is also tense. The gun he uses only accomplishes in getting his attention, and all he has is his teleportation device to be one step ahead of Nolan. Cecil admits it's frightening that Nolan is always close to grabbing him and, after returning to the HQ, his tie is shown to have been torn in half from the teleportation field, showing how dangerously close Nolan is from actually killing him.
