* Starling slowly become more unhinged over the course of the episode, as he gets more obsessed with forcing himself into the rebooted film. If the fact that this ends with him ''turning into Negaduck'' isn't bad enough, the climax is a sharp veer into [[{{Pun}} dangerous territory]]: he accidentally sets the movie set on ablaze trying to take over the film, then ''refuses to let anyone leave.'' Anyone who tries nearly gets fried with an all-too-real prop gun, and he doesn't care one whit as the fire continues to grow around him.

* Donald ends up landing in the moon and quickly looks for oxygen but fortunately, he finds some Oxy-Chew. After a moment of relief, he's immediately arrested by the hostile Moonlanders.

* Donald accidentally gets launched into space. He can't pilot the rocket and doesn't have the proper equipment with him. And it implies he's about to land on the Moon, [[OhCrap in the middle of the Moonlanders planning their invasion.]]

* Donald ends up landing in the moon and is immediately arrested by the hostile Moonlanders

* Louie's last encounter with Doofus Drake has given him some long-lasting emotional scars. Approaching the house of Doofus, Louie is ''extremely'' uncomfortable and tries to come up with all sorts of excuses not to enter. His brothers have to ''drag him'' in there.

* Dewey was actually doing what Scrooge prevented Louie from doing in the ''Great Dime Chase'': Jumping into the bin. And, if you don't remember, doing so without Scrooge's years of training would almost certainly mean a cracked skull at best, as illustrated [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viDL2W0HcJw here]].

* Then there's the implication she had to sever her left leg from the crash, which is dark on its own.

* While also a CrowningMomentOfAwesome, Webby fights Magica more brutally than she did Black Heron. And damn, did Webby give Magica a pounding. Losing Lena really ''[[BewareTheNiceOnes pissed Webby off]]''.

* Donald's UnstoppableRage, while a CrowningMomentOfAwesome, also looks pretty terrifying.

* Hmm, a plant that mimics people...My god, the entire episode is a ShoutOut to ''The Ruins!'' [[FridgeHorror Anybody whose read the book or watched the film would know just how bad this scenario could have gotten...]]

* If Dewey had told Young! Donald and Della about the future, what exactly could have happened? Could Della have ended up facing an even worse fate than the one she already had? Would Donald be the one to vanish? Would something even worse happen? Honestly, it is for the best that the kid twins stopped him when they did.

* Scrooge shows in this episode exactly how he's managed to live this long. He may have a soft spot for his family, but he left the Ghost of Christmas Past alone in time with no way out. He never had the intention of going back to get him either. He also showed no remorse for what happened to the ghost after he left. Scrooge may have forgiven him in the end, but he did not show any remorse for what he did. Do not mess with Scrooge McDuck, for he will make you pay for it.

* The Ghost of Christmas Past was planning to [[AndIMustScream strand Scrooge in the past]] simply because [[CrazyJealousGuy he was tired of everyone he helped henceforth spending Christmases with their families instead of him]].

** It doesn't help that the Ghost of Christmas Past was voice by the same guy who voices [[WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder Wander]] and [[Disney/WreckItRalph Fix-it Felix]].
* The fact that even a ''Christmas spirit'' isn't immune from becoming a Wendigo.
