Michelle Blades (1990) is a Panamean SingerSongwriter and director.
Born in {{UsefulNotes/Panama}}, she left the country at an early age and grew up in Miami. She got involved in the DIY scene of Arizona and later left her home continent for {{UsefulNotes/France}}. After getting signed on the label Midnight Special Records, she released numerous albums and [=EPs=] across the TheNewTens. Aside from her solo career, she also has her own live band called [[ArtistAndTheBand Michelle Blades y Los Machetes]] and has collaborated with her fellow artists from Midnight Special Records, whether it's about being a session player or a music video director.
Her uncle Creator/RubenBlades is known as an icon of the Salsa genre in Central America.
