''Damaged'' is Music/BlackFlag's landmark 1981 album, released by SST Records (run by the band's guitarist Greg Ginn). Their first full length album, and also their release with vocalist Music/HenryRollins (after previous vocalists Keith Morris and Ron Reyes quit or were fired). A newbie to the punk scene, Rollins was hired for his experience with ''State of Alert'', a short-lived punk band from Washington D.C. He was tutored by the other members of the group. It is also their only album to have a two-guitar lineup.
