** The original Eight Virtues which the Avatar must follow: Honesty, Compassion, Valor, Justice, Sacrifice, Honor, Spirituality, and Humility. In turn, these are taken from Three Principles: Truth, Love, and Courage. In that order: Honesty is Truth unvarnished, Compassion is Love for all, Valor is Courage without limit, Justice is Truth tempered by Love, Sacrifice is the Courage to give of yourself for Love, Honor is the Courage to uphold the Truth, Spirituality is the embodiment of the Principles combined, and Humility is above the Principles and Virtues and is what they are built on.

*''VideoGame/TheOuterWorlds'': The Order of Scientific Inquiry follows six virtues.
**Survival of the Fittest: Nature abhors equality. The strong survive and the weak perish for the betterment of the whole.
**Determinism: We are all molecular machines. The body is a collection of atoms. The mind is a consequence of chemical reactions. Our lives are therefore predestined along a path that is only visible in retrospect.
**Empiricism: The only real knowledge is that which we can observe, quantify, and measure for ourselves. Scientific experimentation is the only way to understand the elaborate blueprint of the universe.
**Stoicism: Reason, not emotion, is the seat of morality. Wisdom means accepting the vicissitudes of life with grace and dignity.
**Teleological Order: All things have a reason for existing, and a purpose to fulfill. The purpose of humanity is to eventually unlock and solve the Universal Equation.
**Patronage of Science: The purpose of humanity is realized through scientific achievement. Advancements in science and technology bring humanity closer to fulfilling its role in the cosmos.

* The ''Literature/RoseOfTheProphet'' trilogy takes place on the world of Sularin, which (metaphorically speaking) takes the form of a 20-sided jewel (an icosahedron) ruled over by 21 gods- Sul, the light of truth at its centre, and twenty lesser gods who reflect aspects of Sul. Each of the twelve vertices of the icosahedral jewel represents a divine philosopy, with Good at the top surrounded by five virtues (Law, Mercy, Faith, Charity, and Patience) and Evil at the bottom surrounded by five vices (Chaos, Intolerance, Reality, Greed, and Impatience). Each of the twenty gods, representing one facet of the jewel, embodies the three vertices their facet has at each of its corners- the five good gods all obviously radiate from the Good facet and the five evil ones likewise from evil, with Promenthas being the god of Goodness, Charity and Faith, while his opposite Astafas is the god of Evil, Greed and Reality. The 10 facets around the middle are the neutral gods, with their facets containing one vice and two virtues or vice versa, depending on their position. It's interesting the way these combinations of traits can result in entirely opposing philosophies- Kharmani the god of Faith, Mercy and Greed and Benario the god of Faith, Chaos and Greed (making them neighbours on the jewel) are respectively the god of Wealth and the god of ''Thieves.'' Notably, the main conflict of the series is between two of the ''neutral'' gods rather than the good and evil ones- the heroic Akhran the Wanderer (god of Chaos, Impatience and Faith) and the scheming Quar (God of Reality, Greed and Law).

* ''VideoGame/TheToneRebellion'' has 6 to 16 "Mystic Locations" and twice that many artefacts (depending on the world size). Each location tells a story about some great achievement or virtuous deed, like standing between armies to stop a war. Returning artefacts to correct locations gives virtue glyphs. The glyphs improve player's armies or production and are eventually used to banish the BigBad EldritchAbomination, who spreads the opposite of those virtues.

Virtues can add bonus dice to rolls if you play to them, require a roll against Willpower to act against them, and badly failing a roll to act against them instead causes an extreme version of a Virtue to take over (e.g., Courage becomes Berserker Fury, Endurance becomes Self-Destruction, and Malice becomes All-Consuming Hatred).
