* In ''WesternAnimation/DespicableMe'', Gru has to present a resume of his past jobs to prove to Miss Hattie [[MostDefinitelyNotAVillain that he's a respectable man]]. Apparently, said resume says he's a dentist, he used to be a celebrity chef, won the Medal of Honor, was knighted, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking can hold his breath for 30 seconds]]. Even worse is that the Minions are actively altering his details to the above while Miss Hattie is reading it.

When the hospital wants to promote him for his great work, they check into his background and cannot find any record of him attending Johns Hopkins. He panics, claims that "John Hopkins" was his professor at Stanford, and then runs away.
